First night was great! Great, clean room for the price. Would have rated this higher if we had stayed in the room our whole trip.Issue came when host realized they put us in the wrong room and moved us after one night into a new knit that had been kind of cleaned. Food was left in the fridge and freezer, a couple dishes left to be cleaned and we were not sure the shower had been cleaned prior to our stay.

When we arrived there was a mix up in room so we didn’t get the room pictured. However we did ask the next day to switch to our original room and they showed us a different one that we liked so we were able to move. The place is rustic which was fine for us. It was very clean. We loved the dog run it was perfect since we had our dog with us. Linda and Arnie were so amazing and helpful. The store had pretty much everything we needed and more. I’m sure we will be going back.

We arrived at 3:30, went to the room and it hadn’t been cleaned. Finally found the host on the property. She scheduled us for another room but failed to let me know. Still had to wait for them to clean up that room. She did give us ice cream for free while we waited. The entire property is VERY old and rustic. Definitely could use some work.

Fantastic place to stay, wonderful homey feel in a cute small mountain town! Marci was incredibly kind and hospitable. Can’t wait to make this an annual trip when cutting our Christmas tree.

Marci was fantastic! She upgraded our room due to our reserved room having renovations being done. It was very comfortable with great access to area attractions. It was a great stay for the price. The property was pet friendly which is a great bonus! We would definitely stay there again. Also The antiques store is worth a walk through.

Excellent location for kayaking, hiking and biking. The host was very accessible and attentive to any requests. Cabin was spotless and a cool rustic vine. Very quiet at night. The small lodge had food options and about anything you might need for your stay. Even an ice cream buffet.

Needs work, great location

The location is perfect and the little store that these cabins are attached to has just about everything and great ice cream the host and her family are very nice and very helpful. It needs some updating such as the carpet which is very old and not to great to walk on with bare feet.

VERY Dog-Friendly location

The room is quite rustic; it's part of a small 'general store' location where you can purchase ice cream, sandwiches, pizza, and antiques. The owners are great - we mentioned it was our anniversary so they left us a thoughtful card and gift to enjoy while we were there. We were able to secure another room for our son and his fiance, too. We had 4 dogs between the two rooms and it was never a problem. Thanks, Marci!

The picture was not our "cabin." Though very clean, andmgt was kind...there was no sink in the bathroom, no closet, and the TV was hung over the beds which madeit impossible to watch. The windows did not have screens, so cross ventilation was only available which brought flies into the "cabin." We had received a code to enter the "cabin" with. Mgt was apologetic that the work on what was to have been our cabin was not finished. Others who were staying at the same place had no sink in their bathroom. So, for two nights, we were A-okay as we are campers at heart...and the "cabin" gave us a clean, safe place to stay.

Pitiful

Old, took two hours to find the light switches, couldn’t fit in the bathroom, had to get the manager over to get the heat turned on then she wouldn’t leave. It was cheap but disgusting and I would never take a shower in that bathroom.
