Cabin was as advertised. Great location as base for exploring the area. Check in was smooth and owners were easy to get ahold of if needed. Would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The cabin is super clean, well stocked with everything you need. The cabin is a short walk to Beach Lobster where you can order fresh steamed lobster. Everything about the rental process was easy. The home is as beautiful as it looks on line. The location was wonderful. Easy walking distance to the pier and beach. Other end of the street has a lovely walking trail. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend property and owners. Hope to be back soon.

I was really impressed that the place was so clean and it smelled great,the minute I walked in.It looked exactly like the photo and I had one parking spot that was not a problem. As you know, parking is limited in old orchard beach. I liked that it was a dead end Street, so there wasn't a lot of traffic. The place was well stocked as far as toilet paper, paper towels. The towels were very luxurious as far as my review, white soft and fluffy.Yes, the shower is small, but you know what you are only in there for a minute, the water was nice and hot. I was able to easily communicate with my host, and they were very responsive. I would definitely book this again and recommend it.

Cozy, very clean, well equipped, close to everything!

What a great little place! Perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. The home is very clean and very well equipped with all the essentials! Finding the little things like extra TP, dish soap, sponge, etc was nice to see. Great location, only a 10 minute walk to the main street and pier. Considering the parking costs ($30 a day), well worth booking this home. Having a nice grassy area for our dog was a huge plus. It’s the perfect size for a couple, enough room to relax, not too big to keep tidy. We really enjoyed this home, and the owners were very nice and communicated fast. They went above and beyond to ensue we had a nice stay. Highly recommend this home if you are planning a trip to OOB!

Not what the pictures showed on VRBO

The property was okay but the fence isn’t there anymore! It was not dog friendly for a big dog, maybe a little dog.. The dog park is close but mostly dirt. There was construction going on outside my window all week, so I couldn’t sleep in. Overall we made it work.

We apologize that we had not updated the photos before your stay to show that the small dog fence in the front yard was removed as part of the extensive renovations, we undertook this past year. We have been working extremely hard through a challenging environment with labor and material shortages and are excited to report the renovations have been completed. It is very important to us that the property is clean, modern, and well kept, delivering a high-quality experience. Good place to stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The rental’s location was great. The beach and all the stores and restaurants were a short walk away. There was a very nice dog area in the back of the property, although at night, it’s very dark out there. A few lights would be nice. The cottage was alright. It was mostly clean and it was in a nice neighborhood, but it could have been a little more accommodating. The biggest issue was the lack of storage space for clothing. There was very little room to hang clothes and there were no drawers to put anything in, so we lived out of suitcases for the week. In the bathroom, the shower curtain had mildew on it and the shower handle was loose. The ad said there would be a Keurig and a beach wagon for us to use. Neither was available when we checked in. When notified, the landlord was very responsive and had both products onsite the next day, although both of these things should have been there when we checked in. Overall, it was a nice place at a fair price. A couple of small improvements would make it even better for future vacationers!

Cozy cottage getaway

I had the best time staying here. The check in process before and at check in was a breeze with all of the information I needed being communicated well before my arrival. The cottage is beautifully updated, and it was even a perk to have central A/C as I was there during a heatwave. My dog and I had the best time since this is less than a five minute walk to a trail through the woods and about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. I would recommend this to any solo traveler or couple looking for a getaway in Old Orchard Beach!

Great place to stay

"A really nice cabin! It was cool. Warm and comfortable. The pictures online did not show it as well as it is. It's nicer than I thought it would be. It has a small bedroom. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. The small galley kitchen looked fairly new with full sized appliances and a small table with chairs. I liked the seaside town a lot. Its around the corner and walkable to get there. There is a beach at the end of the main street in town with an amusement park, arcade, and a pier in town. The owners were very nice too! Next time I visit the area I'll do this again. Doug."
