Great location!

This place was wonderful. The owners really thought of everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back. We absolutely loved it!! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the pier but far away enough to not hear all of the noise.

Great communication. Very clean. Comfortable bed, we slept great. As other reviews have stated you can hear streat noise (cars/people walking by talking) but got very quiet during sleeping hours. It was a plus to have beach chairs, cooler and wagon! Thank you.

We went for our 10 year wedding anniversary and had an awesome time. You can tell it has been updated recently and they did a fantastic job. Very clean and super cute. The wifi kept going in and out but owners were right on top of fixing the issue. Super close to the beach and shops. We did go on a couple driving trips to bigger name stores but could've gotten by with everything in walking distance. Conveniently stocked with everything you could need for a perfect beach day. It is right on the main street but that just keeps you right in the middle of some action and people watching entertainment while you sit on the cute little rockers. It was wonderful and we would come back again and again.

We didn’t receive our check-in packet so I had to message owners. They immediately responded apologetically and insisted in giving us a small refund of 35. The studio apartment was cute, clean and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The door to the apartment and patio is 3 steps to the sidewalk which we were not expecting. The train was very loud early in the morning.

Cute place

Great first time visit to Maine. The place was clean and very close to the beach and downtown. Everyone was very friendly, we had a little trouble getting in but was rescued by the owner!☺️ Hopefully we will make it back in the future.

Mother Daughter girls vacation

We loved the little apartment and enjoyed its proximity to the beach and the pier. Within a couple miles is a Hannaford market, called Landry's which allowed us to stock the place for food. Comfortable bed, cold a/c and small kitchen were perfect for our stay, parking was plentiful and the apartment well stocked. Close to everything!! Would recommend for a short stay for a couple.

Great place

This property is very nice. Its close to beach and very well furnished. The only thing wrong is the shower is very small. The owners are extremely helpful and responsive.

Cute and clean

Cute, cozy and clean. Beach is steps away, short walk to beach. Coffee every morning, sat outside at the cute table and chairs set watching folks heading to beach or to the pier. Most folks very friendly. Met the owners as the welcome binder wasn’t in our room, she brought it to us along with a note card with apology and the most delicious cinnamon rolls! Really wonderful people, had a little basket of goodies as well when we arrived. A little to close to the street but there is a white noise maker that helps. Actually the room is well stocked with blow dryer to iron and board. Overall very happy.

Old Orchard

We had come to stay here for our 4 year anniversary and it did not disappoint. We loved the location, everything was within walking distance. This location is not far from many local attractions as well. The property owner was friendly, communacative, and very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again.

Not a Motel

Loved this property because it’s a small standalone building containing a handful of rental units in a town with hundreds of standard motel units. We felt like we were the only ones there and had ample parking directly by the door. The beach was only a few steps away and restaurants were in easy walking distance.

Great Spot!

What a pleasant surprise to find this available last minute! It was less expensive than a hotel, and waaaaay nicer than most of the accommodations in the area. The communication with the owner was amazing. This place had everything we needed and more. Super clean, comfortable bed with quality sheets and towels. We also appreciated being able to park at the unit and hit the beach hours before the room was ready to check in. We definitely wouldn’t hesitate to rent this place on our next visit.

Definitely coming back!

The room was very clean, everything was updated and new. The host was not on site but I believe that would have only improved our visit! The host was very helpful and even offered to deliver anything we needed for a surprise gift for my wife when we arrived. I accidentally did not send a text with specifics about which flowers I wanted and there was a beautiful floral bouquet and a card celebrating our 15th anniversary when we arrived!

Cute studio with everything you would need!

Elissa and Michelle very readily available for any need. Newly renovated studio with store across street, beach behind you, pier within minutes of walking distance what else could you need? Bed very comfortable, shower a little small for a larger person. Can be loud at night with revving engines…. But, would stay there again in a heartbeat!!!!!

Convenient to beach and attractions

Nice little place, but very close to the street and sidewalk. But on the plus side, just yards from the beach and bar! We were willing to overlook the noise from the street. Also, Old Orchard Beach has a train that runs right thru town at crazy hours (night and morning), loudly blowing it’s horn. Our room was literally yards from the tracks, but again, we were willing to overlook that due to its proximity to the beach. The room itself was comfortable, but bathroom was cramped. Check in was super easy and the owner contacted us by phone before check in—very friendly. I recommend this property if you want to be close to the beach. It’s about 4-5 blocks to the attractions too, so just a short walk.

Best Vacation EVER!

We have been vacationing in OOB for 20+ years and stumbled upon this cute spot and couldn't believe what we had been missing out on! We were so glad we took a chance on a new location bc it was the most relaxing vacation EVER! We couldn't believe how close to the sand we were and how adorable this cottage is. Kudos to the cleaners bc it was spotless! And we didn't have to pack anything extra!! They have a full kitchen so we didn't have to eat out every night, a beach cart, a cooler, linens on the bed (the mattress is SO comfortable), really soft towels in the bathroom, lots of cute little shampoos and soaps, and even beach towels. There was a welcome book with tons of information and a basket with snacks (some locally sourced) and drinks when we arrived. There were even soft spa slippers laid out for us, I felt like I was at a resort! Elissa was so easy to reach when we had questions and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. A host that goes this far out of their way for their guests deserves nothing but 5 stars! We will absolutely stay again!

Enjoyable Stay at Old Orchard Beach

When we arrived at the property everything was as described/shown in the listing. The room was very clean and well stocked with the items we would need during our stay. Extra items like snacks, water bottles, slippers, coffee pods, creamer, cooler were unexpected and much appreciated. There are also 2 gas grills and an outdoor dining area setup that was very nice to use during our stay (not totally private, but set back enough so that we were still comfortable sitting there). The room came with 2 parking passes so if you bring one car, visitors are able to park. There was always plenty of parking space. The bed was very comfortable. The beach is just a short walk. We did find the nearest beach access a little too crowded, but if you walk a few streets north, the beach is much less crowded. The beach wagon provided was very helpful. The area around the property is very walkable. There are lots of restaurants, shops and entertainment within walking distance. Each night there are bands playing at the various restaurants and for a few of the them you can enjoy them right from the beach. The owner was very responsive to any requests/messages sent before/during our stay. We had a very enjoyable time at Old Orchard Beach..

Incredible Location in Old Orchard Beach!

Wow! We have been vacationing in OOB for 10+ years and this was BY FAR the best experience we have ever had! The owner was so easy to communicate with, but gave us our privacy (which we appreciate). The cottage was so clean and spotless, the bed was incredibly cozy, and it was such a dream to wake up SO close to the sand and just a 5 minute walk from the pier. The cute convenient store behind the cottage is amazing - they have everything you need if you forget something, but also have incredible breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The little touches the owner included were so special! When we opened the door there was a welcome basket and fresh pastries from a local bakery waiting for us. Complimentary bottles of water in the fridge and even spa slippers set out for us! There were sturdy beach chairs provided, along with a cooler and beach cart for our use. I've never stayed anywhere in OOB that provided any of these amenities or this attention to detail before. Did I mention they have a white noise machine in the room?? We used that and didn't hear any noise from the historic train or traffic on the road. We slept so well and were able to wake up and see the waves each morning. It was magical! We were afraid to leave this review bc this is a new spot in town and we don't want it getting all booked up haha! But we couldn't resist bc the sweetest family owns this place and we had so much fun here! We can't wait to come back again soon!
