Imagine a luxurious location with versatile design capabilities that convert to your needs. Offering accommodations and VIP services that provide you with all the comforts of home, and then some.
Experience a private outdoor space to relax poolside, soak in the hot tub, sit by a fire, or take a peaceful stroll through beautiful gardens and lush grounds.

For those days where you want to just stay inside, we offer board games, an Xbox One game console, and 5 TV's with streaming capabilities.



We will communicate with you via messenger on airbnb and vrbo and via text for direct bookings.

Shelbyville is a quaint town of 5000 people tucked in Central IL between Chicago and St. Louis, MO. Visit Lake Shelbyville, a reservoir lake with 250 miles of protected shoreline and three awesome marinas with dining and boat rentals. Also, take a tour of the Army Corps of Engineers Visitor Center and Dam and do some fishing on the Kaskaskia River just on the other side of the Dam. We have a beach and recreation area several blocks away as well as a public pool and miles of beautiful wooded bike and walking trails. All of these activities are blocks from our home.

You have access to the entire home. Additional bedrooms will be set up on the main floor for guests exceeding 6. Per head fees apply to have additional beds set up on the main level. Ask your host for details for more than 6 guests up to 10.

Most amenities are accessible by car or bicycle. Uber and Lyft are not available in this area.

The property is private and protected with (Ring) doorbell cameras at each entrance, surveilling the outdoor areas for your safety. To protect your belongings while you're away from the home, we have a noise alarm (Minut) in the home that detects if smoke/fire alarms are sounding and also detects humidity and temperature to ensure the furnaces are working correctly. The noise alarm does NOT record conversations, but merely detects decibels of sounds out of the ordinary.

No privacy

The house is beautiful. If you don’t mind being watched on camera, the place is nice. Doesn’t feel relaxing with a camera right above the hot tub.

Family Staycation

We needed a place for the whole family to unplug, unwind, and relax. This spacious home had it all. The pool and the games that were provided kept the kids entertained for hours while we soaked up the sun.

Amazing House and Hostess!

We went for a little moms get away and this was the place to go! All the little extras! So clean! The pool and hot tub were so relaxing! Tons of room! Can't wait to book it again!

We wish we could have stayed longer! Beautiful large home with a pool oasis in the back! The owner is very tentative and only a quick text away! Felt so welcomed with all the amenities you will ever need! Definitely a yearly trip for us!

Vacation paradise

This property was absolutely amazing! Renee was more than accommodating. My family, friends and I had an wonderful time. The house is beautiful and so modern. I would highly recommend this place as a great vacation destination within fifteen minutes from Findlay Marina on Lake Shelbyville. Truly awesome!

Beautiful accommodations! Plenty of room for 6 fifty-ish women. Renee was great to work with. Recommendations were helpful for pontoon boat & was quick to answer any questions. Great location for Lake Shelbyville activities & visit to EIU! Would definitely return!

Best of the Old and New

This is a stunning historical house, that has clearly been lovingly restored into an outstanding rental house. The whole experience was excellent. The house is easy to find, check in was a breeze, all the amenities you might want are supplied. The host is easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions. The bed is very comfy and the kitchen is fully stocked. This house is close to my best friend, so I am thrilled to have a found a place I can return to often when I'm in the area for a visit.

Perfect for family visit to Shelbyville

This has was perfect for multiple family members to stay together. We had multiple families - 4 which all had a bedroom. It's in a good location for wherever you need to go in town. We loved having the swimming pool and hot tub. It was great for relaxing after all of us having a busy day. The house had everything we needed - all kitchen items, pool towels, bathroom items. etc. Only thing we should have learned how to turn off the outside lights we went to bed. Everything was great!!!! Will stay again.

Girls Hiking and Birthday trip

Gorgeous property with a great location close to town and Lake Shelbyville. Our group of 9 enjoyed the large dual kitchen spaces and grill for making great meals after long hikes at General Dacey Trail. We enjoyed recovery time in the hot tub followed by quiet evenings around the fire pit. The pool was not yet open for the season but looked large and inviting. The bedrooms were just beautifully decorated with great mattresses, quality sheets, pillows and blankets. Three bathrooms made getting ready a breeze and included really lovely towels. The town of Shelbyville was welcoming with cute shops and a must stop is drinks or dinner the the Ville. Our group vowed to book here again next year!

I'm a small business owner specializing in weddings and events. I'm also a florist and have just begun the journey of hospitality management with my vacation home. I love how my businesses all work together. I have four wonderful daughters, two grandsons and lots of granddogs and cats. :) In my free time I love to spend time on Lake Shelbyville wake surfing and boating. I also love to travel and visit other vacation homes.

This house is something special. Ever since I moved to the area it has called to me. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to realize I own it. When it became mine it needed some attention. We spent 4 long months updating the important pieces and preserving as much history as possible. This home is a beautiful gem full of history protected by an acre of land in a downtown rural community.

This home has the option to convert from three to five bedrooms. On the main floor there are three living spaces, two of which can be converted to private bedrooms with closet space and actual beds. Customize your stay based on your needs. With an in ground heated pool and hot tub that seats 7, this home is great for the whole family. For your convenience we start you with a semi stocked fridge. We have laundry units on the first and second floor, and music streaming in all rooms. There will be no boredom with indoor games, outdoor games, complimentary bike use, and 6 TV's!
