Eve's Cottage - Ocean Breeze Peaceful Getaway

Eve's Cottage is located a short drive north of Governor's Harbour Eleuthera Airport. The cottage is well-positioned to capture a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean and a short walk to one of the most beautiful pink-sand beaches on the island. Eve's Cottages was designed with you in mind. You can open up your windows and doors to welcome in the relaxing sounds of the Atlantic Ocean waves, the cool tropical winds blowing through the coconut tree leaves as the leaves dance in the winds.

The Cottage listed is a single-level structure with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers, a full kitchen, and a living room. The master bedroom and living room are designed with the porch in front facing the east, with full double glass french doors, which allows the guest to have an outstanding view of the Atlantic Ocean and a stunning view of the sunrise from the comfort of both areas.

Loved our month stay at Eve's Cottage. The house was spotless. It has a very spacious layout with all the amenities of a modern home, great AC, laundry, appliances, and brand new cookware. What a treat to be able to hear the waves from the terrace but also in the house. The short walk to the incredible pink sand beach is worth it, as walkers can walk for long miles daily with no one in sight most of the time. For us it was the best beach on the island. For ease, take the second path towards the Atlantic not the first. Dominique, the caretaker, was quick to respond to a few of our questions and ready to help. For those who may worry about potential noise from the airport neaby, it is absolutely a none issue. Thank you Robert for a great stay.

Wonderful stay in paradise

Eve’s Cottage was everything we hoped for! The property is centrally located and the home was very clean. All amenities listed were available and in working order. Robert was very attentive and responsive to messages. We could not have asked for a better stay. Looking forward to returning next year!!

Eve’s Cottage (Paradise awaits)

This is my third trip to Eleuthera and this has been my favorite! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and the view was incredible! Loved staying on the Atlantic side with the breeze. Amazing sunrise, and sunsets. The house was fresh and clean. I felt calm and peaceful during my stay. Could not have asked for a better host. Robert responded quickly to all of my emails. Hope to stay again!

Great stay

Eve's Cottage is perfect. It is just as nice as the pictures posted online. We spent a month there from feb 14 to mar 14, 2025.Was perfect for my wife and I.Robert is a great host and sent us suggestions for things to do on the island.Everything you need for your stay is in the house and it is a perfect location. 3 places to eat, a store and beaches less than 15 mins to the north. Even more resturants and beaches to the south towards Governors Harbour.Also beach access at the house, you just walk down the road about a minute and the is a path over the hill to the beach.Highly recommend Eve's Cottage for a stay in Eleuthera.

Robert's home is gorgeous. We were amazed at the quality of the furnishings, the AC units and the deck! It's a bit off the beaten path- but friendly neighbors make it well worth it! Robert is very communicative and has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Eleuthera. We've rented VRBO's for 15 years, and this is by far the nicest! Can't wait to return,

Eve’s Cottage exceeded our expectations as an oceanfront retreat, living up to its reputation as an ocean breeze, peaceful getaway. Conveniently located and easy to find, the cottage offers a private and tranquil environment. A brief walk over the nearby hill provides access to a scenic beach. Both Governo’s Harbour and James Cistern are easily reachable by car for shopping, dining, and supplies. The spacious deck affords excellent ocean views, while the sound of waves in the morning enhances the overall experience of ultimate relaxation and peace. The cottage was well appointed, comfortable, and equipped with all necessary amenities such as linens and kitchenware. Robert periodically checked in to ensure our comfort. Eve’s Cottage is truly a five-star destination!

Lovely House!

This is a very nice house in a good location. While it is not waterfront there is a good view of the Atlantic from the front porch and easy access to central Eleuthera - Governors Harbor, James Cistern, and many beaches on both the Atlantic and Caribbean. The house itself is spacious, modern and well-maintained. Large double doors on the front of the house provided cooling breezes both day and night. The owner was very responsive to our very few needs.

Clean and convenient!

My two kids, husband, and I stayed for a week in December. The house is well-equipped with most everything we needed. I cooked more than I thought I would, and I utilized the brand new washer and dryer. Everything was super clean. Things are incredibly expensive at the grocery store in Eleuthera, so I was grateful for the many conveniences left around the house. We were a bit confused with how to walk to the beach from the house - there are properties with No Tresspassing signs between this house and the beach. We ended up driving a short distance to the beach next to Cocodimama and using that beach instead which was a perfect alternative. Also, the host was incredibly helpful with arrangements before we got there. We landed on Dec 25th, and he helped to stock the house with some groceries and connect us with a nearby catering option since most businesses were closed. The location of this house is really central - we drove north and south, tip to tip, and loved having restaurants and grocery so close. We would certainly stay at the house again! Thank you for hosting our family!!
