Wonderful property with beautiful views of the ocean from the back of the house that is all sliding glass doors. Lounge chairs on back deck made sunbathing and star gazing perfect. Very comfy beds, pillows and furniture. Lots of clean towels for bath & beach. Barbi is very professional and responsive. Excellent to work with. Overall a perfect stay.

This property is fabulous - the view is amazing, the house itself is well equipped for renters, and the beach is private and stunning. The owner is super responsive and easy to work with, and provided several suggestions both prior to and during our stay. Removed one star simply because the island itself has some infrastructure issues (re: power outages) that can be challenging. Not the fault of the owner and nothing they could do about "fixing" the issue (short of installing a generator for those occurrences), but be aware that power loss is a possibility.

Absolute Paradise

Hands down one of my top 3 favorite vacations! Bootsies is the perfect location. Close enough to everything by car. Clean, beautiful, and fully stocked with everything, both inside and for the beach. Barbara is an outstanding and attentive host who stayed in touch with me before and during my stay. I haven’t experienced this with any host before. She also gave us so many great tips and suggestions. I would recommend a stay here to everyone I know. I cannot wait to book again!!

Great escape

We had a great stay at this property. Everything was as it appeared on the site and the view is even better in person. Barbi is easy to work with, not that we had any problems :). We would definitely stay here again.

A blissful dream

We absolutely LOVED our stay the property and on Eleuthera! This home was perfect for exactly what we were seeking- peace, isolation, ocean front. We are active adventurers and divers so the home was perfectly situated where we could access both the north and the south parts of the island. (If you are a diver, go diving with Chad Sinden down in Cape Eleuthera!) The home had everything we could need to cook and be comfortable while also giving us access to a gorgeous windswept beach on the atlantic side. The beds were very comfortable and the AC and Wifi worked perfectly. This is one of our favorite homes we've ever stayed at and we travel a lot!

Wow this place is awesome!!

Wow! This is truly an amazing place! The location, the view of the ocean from the house, and the house itself was beautiful! We had the beach all to ourselves and took long walks, snorkeled, did some fishing and relaxed by the ocean. We stargazed on the deck in the evening! The house had everything we needed and our host was very responsive when we reached out with any questions, and very easy to work with. We would highly recommend staying here - we were sad to leave! You won’t be disappointed!

Very beautiful

Everything about this house was perfect. I would choose this house again immediately. Beautiful beach right on the doorstep and perfect for snorkeling. the house is very clean and really has everything you need.

Incredible oceanfront stay!

The pictures don’t do this beautiful house justice. Incredible 180 degree Atlantic view from the spacious main room and deck. House has a great floorplan with a large shared living/kitchen/dining space and two bedrooms on either end. Place was spotless, and all the screens worked for bug protection - a rarity on Eleuthera. Good snorkeling on the reef out front and to the left of the house. Would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic Stay

Barbi is incredible and so quick to respond. The house is absolutely beautiful! The views when you first walk out on the deck are breathtaking. The people that live in town are some of the nicest we’ve ever met. Already want to plan a trip back here!!!

Great house in a great location!

This house and the other one next door that Barbi owns, Bonefish Barbi’s, are both wonderful vacation homes. They’re clean, comfortable and convenient to the airport, Governors Harbour, and other places on the island if you have a car and are inclined to explore. Barbi is very responsive to questions and. Is very easy to work with. After staying in many other places around Governors Harbour over the years, these two houses have been my favorites, which is why I keep coming back to them.

Beautiful views! Great location!

The house was clean and great layout for teens on one side and parents on other. Only wished for a little shade on the back deck to enjoy the views in the major heat wave. Great proximity to Gov Harbour!

Rhode Island owners fell in love with Eleuthera on their first trip 15 years ago-- we rented a couple times on the Caribbean side but once we stayed on the Atlantic side that was it for us!!

Amazing views from every window- Beautiful deserted white pink soft sand- you can walk for miles north or south. Just walk down the stairs to your beach-- Air conditioned when you need it- but open the doors and hear the waves crash at night! Some of the best snorkeling on Eleuthera is right at your own beach- so many reefs to explore- amazing fish everywhere.

If you like quiet, unspoiled natural beauty coupled with a safe and friendly local population you will love Eleuthera. If you are looking for a touristy vacation- shopping, nightlife, jetskis, etc- Eleuthera is not for you.
