Modern Home, Beautiful St. Lawrence River View

This is a modern, comfortable, clean and peaceful rural four-season house & property with beautiful views of the St. Lawrence River. Our home has all amenities including a fully equipped kitchen - just bring your food. Located on the edge of the village where you can enjoy quaint shops, restaurants, a brewery, gourmet coffee shop, and an award-winning local winery.

This home is conveniently located, very comfortable, and wonderfully decorated in a "river theme", providing all you need for relaxation and vacationing any time of the year.

Boat docking is available to guests May - October for an additional fee of $200 per week or $40 per day to be paid directly to the owner. The dock is located approximately one mile from the home in a private, protected, and secure bay in the Village of Cape Vincent on North Point Street. Water and electricity is available at that location as well. If interested, send a message and contact information will be provided. (Photos included)

We have a well manicured back and front yard available to guests and a wonderful view of the St. Lawrence River from the front porch.

October Trip

Jacqueline was a super host and home was just as advertised. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets every night. Location was convenient to every sight we wanted to visit.

We loved watching the large freighters go by. We had an app which located ships coming by. Weather was great.We could not figure out the TV so we didn't get to watch much TV. Also missed not having a dishwasher.

Great location & Great host!

The home's location right along the St. Lawrence was perfect, not only for enjoying sunsets over the river, but also for our outings. Everything was a beautiful and easy drive away. Our host, Jacqualine, was equally great, reaching out before our stay with all necessary information and plenty of great suggestions for activities & dining. The home was clean and exactly as described. We (party of 4 adults) would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the Thousand Island region!

July 4th getaway

Lovely home. Spacious master bedroom. Excellent view of the St.Lawrence River. Ideal location between Alexandria Bay and Sackets Harbor. July 4th in Cape Vincent was really great. Jacquline was readily available to answer any questions/concerns. Looking forward to returning.

Perfect!

Just a lovely home with an impressive view of the mighty St. Lawrence River. This was our second visit/stay at Golden View for the July 4th week. We love the region and Cape Vincent. Ideally located within short travel to Claton, Alex Bay, and Sackets Harbor. Jacquline is available for any and all questions/needs/concerns. Exceptionally helpful and communicative. Can't wait to return!!

Back on the River

One word.....Excellant. House was terrific, right size, well appointed, and a perfect location. Views from the front porch, bedrooms and living rooms offers up dramatic view up river and down river. In a nutshell.......perfect place for a stay, if you like wide open beautiful country with a river view. Host is very accessible, and pleasant. Highly recommend.

Short getaway

House was fine Refrigerator very loud when running most likely a fixable issue did not bother us since we did not really watch TV and master bedroom furthest from it so it was only faint. TO be fair we did not report the problem to owner so do not know if she is aware. Great view of river and ships. Was getaway break from work to relax for us and was nice and relaxing. Great place to stay

Peaceful comfortable house and gorgeous sunsets

We were staying here with another couple and everything about the house was very comfortable and quiet. The master bedroom is huge with a super-king bed and the second bedroom, which has its own bathroom opposite, is very small with only a double bed, with no room for a night stand or reading lamp on either side but we improvised! I noticed the bed sizes aren’t in the description but I think they should be - if you are a large couple, which we aren’t, this would be important. So if you are two couples you will want to toss a coin to see who gets which room! Despite that, we loved the house, it’s spacious everywhere else and had everything we could possibly need. I would stay again.

Good communication with Host. Easy check in/check out. House is very comfortable. Very clean. Good layout, comfortable beds,well equipped kitchen. The River view from the front porch, and every window for that matter, was even better than expected. During our stay we had at least 2 ships pass by each day. House is located an easy drive to Clayton,Alex Bay, and elsewhere. Highly recommend a stay at Golden View.
