Private access to our walk out basement ! You will have exclusive use of the pool table during your stay. This is your cozy family friendly game filled getaway. Included are a collection of table games, toys for the kids and a vintage Wii for you and your guests to enjoy. OR bring your own game system to connect up to one the THREE smart TVs in this hideaway . The main TV also has Direct TV access. This is the perfect friends and family spot. Enjoy our 6 acre paradise with shared outdoor lawn games and a fire pit. Lots of hiking, water ways and atv adventures within a half hour. We are 30 minutes to downtown Knoxville, 1 hour to Chattanooga, 1.5 hours to smoky mountains , 2 hours to Nashville . Fun fun fun!

NEED MORE SPACE ? Need a second space for extended family and friends ? Book our 2nd HomeAway/VRBO space on the same property . Look for our “ TN Paradise Retreat/ Home” property ID 7890098. This space sleeps up to four with a full kitchen and it’s own laundry room . It offers private quiet over our garage with stunning views of the forest. Each unit is booked separately.

The property was so welcoming and so warm and so much fun having a pool table and video games and little cubbies too pretend to be Harry Potter under the stairs was such a treat. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips thank you. Will be back Christopher.

Relaxing

House and Property are very quiet and peaceful. Had everything we needed for a short term rental while we relocated to Maryville. Joyce was always veresponsive and accommodating and we would stay here again. Thank you

Hiccup at first, but over all a wonderful stay

We had a bit of trouble getting in with the code. But then everything fell into place and was quite enjoyable. There is not a stove or toaster over, so prepare for that. Great beds, plenty for kids and adults! Bring extra batteries for the controllers 😝

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had a lovely weekend, the property was conveniently located to Knoxville and many other attractions. The detail and thoughtfulness of the Happy Hideaway was the icing on the cake. We would definitely stay again!

Great Visit!

The area and the property were great! The price was reasonable and the place was very clean and welcoming. The owner was very nice and even offered her own home to us after an ac issue the first night (which we didn't need to take her up on thankfully). Great experience overall and would stay there again for sure.

Great!

My family had a great time at this property! Very clean, and very well stocked with bedding and towels. Location is quiet and remote which was nice, and the pool table was a huge hit with the kids. Joyce was very quick to respond to inquiries and very pleasant in all communications. We’d definitely stay again if in the area!

All around a wonderful stay

My family and I all stayed on the property during Easter weekend. Half of us stayed in the hideaway basement and the other half stayed in the apartment home. (There were a total of 7 adults and 2 kids) The area and home are very beautiful! If you like the outdoors this is the right place for you! This place is not only a great place for adults but also a great place for kids. The hideaway basement had a lot of activities such as pool table, the wii, guitar hero, building blocks and puzzles for the kids and much more. The basement had more than enough space for half of us. They also have outdoor games as well. My family and I enjoyed playing corn hole during the day. The weather was great! Joyce was always available by txt if we ever had any problems that we couldn’t figure out ourself, she responds very quickly. My family and I had a wonderful time and would book this stay every time we visited this Tennessee area.
