The location was beautiful. We visited in November so we had gorgeous fall colors everywhere! The view from the house to lake & from the huge deck is spectacular. The house was decorated very nicely & very clean. Plenty of nice dishes & cutlery. Our only complaint was the drive to the lake in the winter is very dark with some curvy roads. Our host was super attentive to our needs & to answer all questions. We were all visiting from out of state & agreed that a visit in the spring or summer would be the best. We all agreed that we thought it was one of the best VRBO's we've stayed in & wouldn't hesitate to come back for another stay.

Beautiful lakeside stay

I use vrbo a lot and this home is absolutely one of the best stay. The house is lovely and very well kept. As nice as the house is, the view from the deck is spectacular. This is where we spent our time, watching eagle, herons, and I swear a baby bear. We will be back.

Tranquil stay at Killian's View

We loved our stay at Killian's View overlooking Watts Bar Lake. We didn't get to spend much time at the property due to the nature of our visit (funeral/celebration and associated activities), but we would definitely consider staying there again if we return to the area.

Wonderful place

Loved all the details. The coffee bar, the candies, the way everything was so organized and labeled. We were there for a baseball tournament. It was a perfect place for us.Thanks for sharing it with us.

Beautiful home updated with all the amenities. Owners have ensured you have everything you need to enjoy your stay there. Coffee bar, games, fully stocked kitchen. Everything was perfect. Curvy roads to get there but it’s worth it. Pretty far away from town so plan 30 minutes to get to a grocery store. I’m pretty picky and this house was perfect..

We stayed here for our sons wedding at White Stone Inn. The view of the lake was gorgeous!The house is beautiful! The layout is great, the beds comfortable and we were so impressed with the labeling on the cabinets making it easy to find everything! Host was kind and so easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!

Mountain/Lake Retreat!

House was as described, clean and updated! The homeowner is very thoughtful with the amenities and conveniences in the home. We rented to attend a wedding and wish we would have extended our stay to enjoy the house and the lake with more time! One of our top VRBO stays!!

Beautiful home and view!!!

This home had everything we needed. The owners thought of everything. I loved how everything was labeled. That really helped alot! The bed was really comfy and the shower was great! The view from the deck was amazing. The careful treking up and down the steps to the dock. It can be done safely, but take your time. It is very steep. There is nothing that can be done to help that. The dock looked new and I was able to fish off of easily. It takes a while to get to the location from the highway, but it is worth the drive. I wish we could have spent more time at the home itself. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I are semi retired. We love traveling and seeing our grandchildren. Over the years we have enjoyed staying in various properties traveling both abroad and in the US. We had always dreamed of having a property on the water so in 2020 our journey with Killian's View began. After a 9 month renovation, we opened for short term rental. We love accommodating people from all over the world in our peaceful corner of Tennessee. And when we aren't hosting guests we enjoy staying at Killian's View ourselves. This way we can make sure our home is perfect for our guests.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We were drawn to this property for its incredible view. It sits above Watts Bar Lake on the main channel. While we do experience various water levels throughout the year it never obstructs our beautiful view. The home needed a complete remodel which we did mostly ourselves. We put in many of the touches and attention to details that we appreciated in other properties we visited. Our home is perfect for a couples getaway, personal retreats, a home base or spending time with your family and friends. Our huge deck has a picnic table, comfy furniture and a propane grill or cook in our fully stocked kitchen with beautiful views. When the water levels are high, generally March through November, you can fish, swim or boat off our lovely dock.

At Killian's View you will enjoy being close to nature. There are many deer on our peninsula and if you are lucky you may see one of the eagles flying around close to the deck. Yet, we are less than an hour away from many attractions dining and shopping.
