Serene Apartment in Historic Hyde Park South Tampa

This 1949 apartment is on the first floor of a 5-plex, in the heart of the Hyde Park Historic District. It is very charming and is in a safe, tree-lined area. It is within walking distance to many different restaurants, shops, parks and entertainment venues. It is also walking distance to nearby beautiful Bayshore Boulevard, which has 4 miles of continuous waterfront sidewalk.

The apartment is about 600sq ft. It has a covered, screened in back porch/laundry room with its own washer/dryer for the exclusive use of guests in this unit. It also includes a brand new fully equipped kitchen with an island/bar and counter stools for dining, a family room with a queen-sized sofa bed, a bedroom with a king-sized bed, dresser, bedside tables and a closet, and a full bathroom with a shower (no tub). It has tile floors, two ceiling fans, two mini split air conditioning/heating units, and its own dedicated off-street parking.

All guests staying in all units at the property have shared use of the concrete table/benches in the front yard of the property.

The property was as described. Jennifer was a wonderful, attentive host who answered our calls and took care of everything. The property is ideally located with a short walk to S. Howard (SoHo) in Hyde Park. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Tampa!

This unit was absolutely perfect for my weekend in Tampa. It was just a short walk to the amazing shops and restaurants at Hyde Park and a relaxing walk to UT campus. The unit was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Already looking forward to the next visit!

Looking out the front window was a treat. Interesting foliage like a tree growing out of the ground sideways and pathways made of varying materials. So charming! Inside was thoughtfully furnished. A comfortable large sofa and chair with ottoman. Good lighting for readers. Easy to open accordion shades. The bedroom was a highlight because the was incredibly comfortable and had beautiful linens! There is a two person bar between the kitchen and mail living area where I did most of the paperwork I’d brought. Solid surface countertops and everything you would need in the kitchen to prepare and cook meals. I came away from my stay quite refreshed - I had 4 nights there - and thinking about my next trip there when I can get away.

Great spot in Hyde Park!

Great location. Close to shops and restaurants. Safe neighborhood. Unit is super clean and was perfect for our weekend stay for our nephews wedding. Highly recommend.

Great Location!!!

This unit was perfect for what I had anticipated it to be. Nothing fancy, but we weren't there very often, so it offered us a bed and shower and a coffee maker -- pretty much all we needed during our stay! The neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance to everything! A perfect weekend getaway spot. Really charming.

Perfect Upscale Location

This property worked for our frequent activities in the Tampa Bay area. It was a great kink size bed providing fine sleeping. It was well equipped withs quality towells. Our owner- Jennifer - was fully responsive & accurate. We'll definitely there again. Thank you.

Nice Stay in April

I loved staying here- very peaceful. Entrance was steps away from the carport and on the first floor with nobody above me. Beautiful mango tree in front. The only downside is I wish dogs were allowed. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Area!

Very responsive host and the property was in a lovely area which was walkable to lots of shops and restaurants. It was quiet and safe as a solo female traveler.

That area is so nice. The property had everything we needed. Very clean and they had nice little extras like a few bottles of water and breakfast bars. Super easy check in and access, with parking. Walking distance to many cool places to eat and a short drive to most others. Would definitely stay again.

Location, location, location! It is a cute home in the middle of the historic district. Hyde Park is one of Tampa's most charming areas, a walking neighborhood with tree-lined streets, restaurants of all classes, clubs for the younger set, and shopping for all. The Sunday Farmer's market is very popular, and Bayshore Blvd is truly a gem.
