This first floor condo offers an ocean front deck to watch the sunrise with coffee in the morning. Butterfly stairs lead you to a beautiful, protected beach. There are 3 additional decks off of the bedrooms. Great kitchen with Sub Zero refrigerator. Master Bedroom has king size bed and a private bathroom with a Tub and a separate shower. Two other bedrooms has private bathrooms. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom

Beautiful home, excellent beach front access. Sheets, 1 towel pp included but overall light on amenities (toilet paper, hand soap etc) that you would expect from a VRBO rental. Very spacious and again, you can’t beat the location!

We had a great time, the property was spacious and views were amazing. It was wonderful to sit on the porch looking out the ocean while having coffee or playing games. I would suggest bring extra linens. We will definitely be back.

The view was breathtaking, loved eating meals on the porch watching the waves crash on shore. Aside from being beachfront, it was also in a less busy part of OC which we loved. The house itself was very pretty, but needs a few repairs here and there( the slider in master bedroom doesn’t lock, several tears in sofas, difficult to regulate AC). Nothing that impaired our enjoyment of the property, we had a wonderful stay! Would definitely book again!

Incredible Location

Location, location, location. A spacious home with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy yourselves. The view and location are spectacular. Located on the beach behind the dunes. Easy to get to the Boardwalk, shops, etc. We had a good time! The house needs serious updating and repair, however. Some windows and blinds did not work, and several of the mattresses were in poor shape. The AC was tricky to use. It was difficult, too, to understand what amenities were offered, since many of them are not posted (such as washer and dryer). The host is nice and communication was fair.

Could be so much better.

Let me start off with the positive which is admittedly a big one. The view and location are fantastic and it's probably very difficult to find that kind of location at the price we paid. We mostly knew what we were getting into when we rented the place because we'd read the prior reviews, but there were still some additional surprises. As previously mentioned the condition of the place is not great. The door to the deck off the master bedroom does not lock and neither does one of the doors to the deck in one of the other bedrooms. That door is warped or damaged in someway that makes it difficult to close. Numerous pieces of furniture have stains or rips in the cushions. The place appears to be cleaned between rentals but only the table/counter surfaces, floors, etc. It does not appear that things like vents, fans and blinds are ever cleaned and were caked with dust. One of the back bedrooms does not have a smoke detector. Instead there is a wire hanging from the ceiling that it would connect to. There also a lack of amenities i.e. paper towels, hand soap, cleaning products etc. that when normally expects when renting on VRBO or its competitor. There were almost no bath towels and zero hand towels but there was plenty of bedding. Homeowner is completely aware of these issues and doesn't seem to care. He initially took to long to approve the reservation and VRBO auto cancelled. Other questions took longer than expected or were ignored.

The beds and bedding was atrocious. If you’re going to provide the bedding, then you need to upgrade and make it look remotely inviting. Sheets were all mismatched and not enough pillows or blankets for the beds. Also not enough towels for the 11 people in the house. Mismatched and old. The beds themselves were gross! Stains on the sides of the mattresses and too scared to look at the rest of the mattresses. For the you’re charging, you need to get new clean beds. Many of the sinks only had alarmingly hot water and the rugs in the bedrooms were filthy. Most dishes seemed dirty and there was a lack of kitchen pots etc. Not even one pot big enough to boil pasta.The living room was semi-clean but the couches were ripped and such. The only redeeming quality is the porch and view and the fact that it’s on the beach. That part is great!Also, no where in the listing does it say that it is just the first floor. Very misleading!Host was responsive but there should have been WiFi info at the house available so guests don’t have to ask. Under the kitchen sink was disgusting and the kitchen cabinets were literally falling apart. Sorry but there is work that needs to be done.

End of Summer

The rental is spacious and the location excellent. We had a problem with the master shower which the owner said he would address but we told him we would use another bathroom. Cleanliness throughout the rental was the biggest disappointment. Maintenance is needed. Bed matresses really need to be replaced. This is the first time we vacationed so late in the season. It must be difficult to maintain properties over the summer months between renters.
