Perfect for families of 4, 2 vacationing couples, or a few friends looking to explore San Diego, this quaint modern apartment (600 sq ft) places travelers in an ideal walkable location just minutes from top attractions, be your San Diego home base, offering a prime location and everything your small friend group or family could need. The bathroom is tiny, especially around the toilet (depending on height, may have to sit at an angle). With it being a smaller space this home is PERFECT for guests who are looking to enjoy San DIEGO! We are in Little Italy, the voted on most desirable neighborhood in San Diego! The home is small, but one would book this home based on the LOCATION one block off India St in Little Italy which has the best food scene in San Diego.

INDOOR LIVING: Flat-screen smart TV, remodeled interior, 2-person breakfast bar, hardwood floors

GENERAL: Shared patio w/ cushioned seating, table & charcoal grill, free WiFi, linens/towels, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, keyless entry, private entrance, ceiling fans, trash bags, paper towels, clothes steamer, shared coin-op laundry machines

PARKING: Free street parking.



We do not have central air, but there are a/c window unit in kitchen to use at your disposal.

Check out: 11 am



$50 for early check in (VERY RARE). This is only if we do not have a guest the night before (not available on weekends). We do not offer late check-out since our software requires us to allow same day instant bookings.

App operated laundry. Each machine has the logo to download the app. Only American cards are accepted for payment; other cards are not supported. Please do not use any of the supplies in the laundry room or the laundry during the hours on 10am - 4pm. Our cleaner will need full access to these items during turnover hours.



We may require an ID and/or signed Rental Agreement or a refundable deposit prior to check in.



We only provide the initial supplies for the stay. If more are needed throughout the trip, It will be the guest's responsibility.



We do not have keys or access to our mailbox.



San Diego’s weather is perfect 90% of the year. Most guest use fans and open windows and older buildings in SD usually do not have A/C. Even most bars and restaurants only use fans!



Potential for noise as we are very near the Airport.



HOUSE RULES

Quiet Hours are 11 pm

Laundry will be off-limits to guests between 10am - 4pm (our cleaner needs to use the machines) $25 fine

Must be 21+ to book

$500 fine for parties or smoking in the unit ($100 per extra person over what the reservation was booked for).

We do NOT allow late check out. There is a charge of $25/10 min after 11AM.

By booking with us, if there is any violation of our house rules, you agree to forfeit your right to leave any review.

NO OUTSIDE GUESTS (all guests must be included in reservation total) unless approved by host, $100 per unauthorized guest each night.



$500 fine per night for any unauthorized pets. This listing is not pet friendly!



If a security team is called due to an infraction of the house rules, the guest agrees to pay for the security team ($500 minimum) and the duration of the reservation, even if removed by the security team due to the infraction.



Please DO NOT flush feminine products/paper towels/any foreign substance down the toilet (ONLY toilet paper). It is not good for the pipes and if there is an issue we may pass the charge onto the guest.



We do have Ring Cameras outside the property. Any blocking of the cameras will lead to an automatic eviction, forfeiture of security deposit, no refund and a fine. Please do not block these cameras.



$250 lockout fee if needed to call a locksmith to let in. If keys at property and lost this charge will apply. If no keys, this will not be applicable unless tampering was made with our digital door lock system



Please no burning of candles, incense, or anything else in the home. If done, this will be treated as “smoking” in our house rules. Thank you.

Nice location!

Great location for walking and exploring SD. Plenty of food and drink options available. This rental met all our needs and was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Great little spot

20 minute walk to the bay, 20 minute walk to Balboa park. Easy check in, kitchen is perfectly set up.

Great location!

This was a great little apartment, perfect for 4 adults and one 9 year old. It was really small though, but we mainly needed a place to sleep and didn’t spend a ton of time in the apartment. One thing though - the backdoor in the kitchen was open when we arrived which was a little strange, but that’s my only feedback. Thanks for having us!

Perfect family getaway

Everything was just perfect. There were no issues and the property manager was so attentive and responded quickly when we asked questions. We will definitely be staying with them again. Thank you for everything! We take only memories and leave only footprints and the memories made here were awesome!

Perfect location

This apartment was very convenient for all the activities we had planned for our visit to San Diego. It is small, but for our family it was still very comfortable and we had enough space for our visit. It was nice to have the second room so our daughter could sleep separately. It’s also nice to have the kitchen for breakfasts and coffee etc. There are Two things one should know before staying…we were fine with both, but some people may not be….the airplanes fly very close and frequently so there is a lot of airplane noise…and the hill where you park is quite steep. Overall …Cute apartment in great location.

Overall good.

I would not recommend staying here with little kids. Not enough room for kids to walk around, the coffee table and TV stand were all glass with sharp corners. The bathroom was decent but your knees will touch the tub when sitting on the toilet. The hill is extremely steep when parking. Its a good home base but if you plan to stay and relax with 4 adults it will be squishy. Overall it was a good home base but i wouldnt stay here with 4 adults and an infant it was too small for us. The airplane noise didnt bother us but something to be aware of.

You get what you pay for

The building is old & small but we weren’t planning on staying in the apartment for a long time. It is too cozy & the renovations can only do so much. If you’re a bigger person the toilet situation would be difficult as the tub is literally 4 inches in front of the toilet. The shower head is in the corner so keep bumping elbow into the wall. The windows are also old & single pane so it didn’t help block out all the street & freeway noise. Luckily we’re heavy sleepers. Beware & bring earplugs or a white noise machine if you’re a light sleeper. Our friends in the next unit kept having their electricity go out when they used the microwave and had to go out back to reset the breaker. Parking was also a little scary for folks that aren’t used to parking on steep hills. The curb is really high so even in our SUVs, we had a hard time opening the doors. Have to angle out to open doors wider to get in & out but cars coming down the hill can’t see us until they drive over the cross street….really nerve wracking. I would not stay here again.

Nice and clean but noisy.

If you are at all sensitive to noisy environments this is not the place for you. It is 3 blocks from the San Diego airport and airplanes fly over constantly. Add in the traffic noise from Interstate 5 which is 2 blocks away and there is no quiet time available.

Looking for housing for young adult sons.

The apartment was as listed, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Walking distance to Little Italy and Balboa Park. Some plane and freeway noise, but super convenient. Very communicative hosts. Good trip!

Very tidy house at a Perfect location

House was very clean (including the common laundry-room) and stocked with necessary items. Walkable distance to so many restaurants and cafes. And it is in a very beautiful neighborhood. Wi-fi connectivity was great (high speed internet). Only challenging part was the street parking.

Perfect apartment and location.

This apartment with a kitchen was perfect for our stay in San Diego. The bed was very comfortable. We had access to an enclosed backyard. My husband and I were able to walk to the Bay, Balboa Park, Little Italy, and a grocery mart. Close to airport too. We would definitely stay here again, while visiting San Diego.
