Stunning private villa tucked away in the coveted Muirlands area in La Jolla. The gorgeous hacienda style villa makes you feel like you have been transported into a tropical paradise. With a swimming pool and a jacuzzi, you can relax and unwind. Spacious indoor and out. Outdoor fire pit with plenty of outdoor seating. Ping pong, pool table, BBQ and more. Come for an adult getaway, or bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Close to beach/downtown.

​​​​​​​This home has 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and an amazing outdoor area with plenty of space to entertain. Each bedroom has a super cozy bed and a flat screen TV. Wifi throughout the house and backyard works great so no matter where you are you will have great connectivity. Two living rooms will make it so you never have to argue about what to watch, just pick them both! The oversized couches will be perfect for you all to hang out and watch together. Ample parking for up to 8 vehicles. Outdoor area has a ping pong table, BBQ, fire-pit, and of course the pool/spa. The string lights create an ambiance second to none as the sun is setting.

​​​​​​​Please know this home is located in a community that values peace and tranquility, and partying is against our house rules. While we want you to have a fantastic stay, we want to make sure we respect our neighbor's peaceful environment and be considerate of the surrounding residents. Thank you for your understanding and helping us maintain a quiet environment for all.

The pool can be heated upon request for an additional $150/day, plus tax and service fees. Please let us know if you are interested! Please note that it takes 12-24 hours for the pool to heat up, so it is best to arrange this ahead of your stay!

Beautiful home but clearly has been neglected with basic maintenance. Lots of space for large parties. Cleanliness seemed to be a bit of an issue. For example, stains on some bed sheets. Washer looks like it has never been cleaned and likely needs to be replaced. For a location and home like this I would assume it to be at the level of at least a 4 star hotel. That being said the location was great. Very safe and secluded neighborhood. Easy access to downtown La Jolla area. Beaches about 15 minutes away. Shopping mall about 25 minutes away.

The house was perfect for our family and exactly (if not better) than described and pictured. The backyard was paradise and our kids had a blast swimming, playing ping pong, playing pool, and playing board games at night. The neighborhood is beautiful and the house was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great fun. We celebrated my wife's 80th birthday. Various family member from adult children to adult grand children. Lots of room, great outdoor area with pool, hot tube etc. Pool table was very popular

Beautiful property!

Great space for a lot of people. We were traveling with our grown children and grandchildren, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Even though it was a little chilly while we were there, everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The outside space is great - two fire pits, bbq, big table for dining outside, and a fun bar set up with a mini-fridge. They also have lots of pool toys and towels.Just a note - I missed the info about the fee to heat the pool. So make sure to read the listing carefully.I would definitely stay here again!

Great spot for Christmas for our Family!

We had a lovely Christmas with our family in this house! There was plenty of space for everyone, and we enjoyed the pool table, ping pong, and hot tub at the house, not to mention the beautiful beaches nearby! The location is great, and the layout worked well for our group. The owners/ management was responsive and helpful.

Perfect house for Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our 3 adult children and 5 grandkids. House was well stocked including the kitchen bathrooms and pool area. There were lots of pool toys for the little ones and ping pong and pool table for the adults. Huge front living area with a giant comfy couch for everyone to hang out. Location of house was close to beach, zoo, aquarium, amusement park, sea world, restaurants and grocery stores. House is even better than the pictures.

Great Christmas week

House was great for 11 people. Kitchen pretty well stocked. Amazing outdoor space, so many pool towels. Management was very responsive to a problem Christmas Day. Just note for a large crowd all the bathrooms are in bedrooms so those sleeping in the bunk room don’t have an easily accessible bathroom.

La Jolla Oasis

Overall, we loved this house and would stay here again... and will probably try to next year! The size of the house and the accommodations were perfect for our family. The outdoor patio, pool, & hot tub were the focus for our group. It is absolutely beautiful! The only glitch was the pool heater not working. If it was working, we certainly would have been using it more.

LaJolla family reunion

Initial impression was”Wow, this is awesome!” However, after a few days I began to have some serious issues. My biggest concern was security for my children ( all adults ) and my grandchildren. On the first night I discovered that a back door ( sliding door by the pool table room ) did not lock at all. After further exploration of the property, I discovered that neither yard gate at either end of the property locked from the inside. In fact, one of the gates did not even close! Also noted that although the outbound gate to the driveway closed after a car drove through, the inbound gate remained open throughout our stay. Not a very secure situation. As far as the house itself, I find it somewhat amazing that a home worth over 5 million dollars does not have a toilet paper holder attached to a convenient wall in the master bedroom! Also, as the management company is aware of, while my wife and daughter were sitting on a couch doing a puzzle in an adjoining room, the two rear legs of the couch collapsed. Fortunately, no one was harmed and the management team was quick to respond the next day and repair the couch. As far as the amenities of the home were concerned, I have no issues. My whole family enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub immensely! Everyone had access to beds and bathrooms that were more than adequate for our needs. All in all, I would consider using this facility again if ( and only if ) the issues I have pointed out are addressed.

Absolutely wonderful!

This house was absolutely perfect for a 5 day family event with 13 people of all ages. It is so big that one can get lost going from one end to the other! It’s in a very quiet neighborhood, the kitchen is extremely well appointed, and the two living rooms were great for everybody to spread out in. The star was the huge outdoor entertaining patio in the back, with pool with waterfall, spa, two fire pits with lots of seating, ping pong table, outdoor bar, grill, plentiful umbrellas and lounge chairs, and Italian string lights crisscrossing the night air everywhere. I can’t say enough about that space, we spent so much time outside with all the kids and grandkids. The host Chloe was extremely responsive to a few very minor issues that cropped up. I would give this place 6 stars if it were possible!

Great Vacation House

Large house that offers plenty of room and activities for everyone. However, the backyard is the star of the house. With an outside bar, large pool, plenty of seating with fire pits and a barbecue grill, you can enjoy relaxing for an afternoon and evening dinner after visiting La Jolla and San Diego earlier in the day. Thoroughly enjoyed our week here with a family of 10.

Ideal Family Vacation Spot

The house layout is perfect with plenty of bedrooms and a spacious backyard patio with a large pool. After a busy day of activity in San Diego and La Jolla, it was always a pleasure to return in the afternoon to relax in the pool or enjoy playing pool before a barbecue dinner. There is something for everyone here.

Perfect Family Vacation

This was my first Vrbo rental, and our vacation turned out perfect! The house was beautiful and the pool and outside areas were fantastic! I would highly recommend this rental if you are traveling with children.

Was not worth the money

Three of the TV remotes didn’t work. The gas tank ran out of gas and host said they would deliver a new one and never did. The oven timer didn’t work properly, the microwave wasn’t very efficient. Did not feel it was worth the money we paid.

Perfect house for families

We stayed at this property with another family (4 adults, 6 children) and we were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen, bedrooms, living spaces were perfect for our size group. The property offered endless fun with the pool table, pool, spa and ping pong table. The pool area and fire pit were luxurious - they surpassed our expectations. The home was clean. Communication with management was timely and professional. We highly recommen renting this property!

Not worth the money

My family and I recently stayed in this property and experienced many problems with it. The biggest issue was that the drain for the kitchen sink and the dishwasher was completely backed up and made it impossible to use the kitchen. This was a problem because we specifically booked this house for its large central kitchen. The property manager sent someone to the house for two full days to fix the problem, but it was not fixed. The property manager wanted to continue sending people to the house, but we were only there for 4 days and we were tired of having strange people in our space making loud noises and causing sewage smells. There was very little rectification provided for this major inconvenience. We also found business cards for plumbers in the kitchen, indicating that the owner knew that there were plumbing issues already and still decided to continue renting the property. On top of the kitchen being unusable, there was an ant infestation in one of the bathrooms, which took 3 days to get fixed and only got better after we had to continuously use the vacuum to clean them up. The room in one of the bedrooms also leaked in multiple spots when it rained. There were all sorts of other minor issues with the house that otherwise would not have been worth mentioning, but when taken in the context of these other larger problems, they all added up to a very uncomfortable stay for the amount of money we spent. This property is not well maintained and should not be rented in the condition that it is currently in.

Amazing home in the best location!

Loved this house! With 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms made this the perfect house for a large family gathering. All the beds were very comfortable - something you very rarely find in a house this large. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances… and the Dream couch in the family room is to die for!! Once you get in it, you never want to get out. The outdoor fire pits offered a nice place to gather and talk on chilly evenings and mornings. The VERY large driveway offered ample parking in an area with very limited parking making it the perfect gathering place. The neighborhood is very beautiful and this house did not disappoint! We did not use the pool or hot tub due to it being January, but would be a very welcome attraction by mid-summer.

Wonderful House

Wonderful, spacious, and in a great location!

We went down to La Jolla to see San Diego and this house was the perfect jumping off point. Plenty of separate rooms / beds, tons of outdoor seating space with an awesome pool, hot tub, and multiple firepits. Couldn't recommend it more highly!
