Beat the heat and enjoy the view

Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay in the lovely cabin with the fabulous view. Among our favorite features: modern appliances, comfortable beds, enormous leather sofa, lots of closet space, instant hot water and great shower.

Close enough to anything you could want to do on the South side of the Great Smoky Mountains or Cherokee National Forest. Still tucked back far enough not to feel crowded out by neighbors.

We had a wonderful stay at Carol's cabin in the mountains. The space was perfect for our family of 3 and the office area made it easy for my husband to work virtually. We loved the layout of the house, but the best part by far was the view. We had gorgeous mornings watching the mountains come alive and beautiful evenings as the sun set. If you're looking for a fantastic mountain view, privacy, and a nice place to stay, this cabin is for you.

Great property. Great house. Relaxing but not epic view. Big leather couch with huge TV and strong WiFi. Yes, it’s vacation but if you want to watch the game or need to work a bit you are totally covered.

Mountain Getaway

This property was perfect for a weekend in the mountains. The views were spectacular! The cabin was well maintained and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Our host Carol was wonderful to deal with, and even reached out to us with area recommendations during our stay. We would definitely use this property for future visits to the area.

Loved the Property!!

We stayed in the cabin for the month of July, we are thinking of buying in Waynesville and wanted to check out the market. You always hope that when you book a stay the pics, reviews and description are accurate and Carol's cabin was perfect. The location is a good blend of being near to restaurants, grocery and the town of Waynesville and being secluded enough on Heath's Peak to be away and private. Again, we loved the property and Carol was great to work with. We will plan on coming back!!

So cozy!

This home is comfortable on the inside and out. The bedrooms and living room are inviting and the porch is a sanctuary of birds and beauty. We stayed for a weekend and that was not long enough. We’d like to return soon!

Amazing stay with amazing views

The property was everything we were looking for!! The cabin has everything you need 😍 Our 2 year old loved every moment!! My husband and I loved everything from the views,to the fireplace,and exploring around the cabin!! We will be back next year for 2 weeks!!! The host was very responsive and very helpful with any questions we had!!

This mountain home was better than I could have imagined. On the top of the mountain with incredible views. I would personally love to own. Meticulously maintained. I’m definitely going back!

Gorgeous Views & Extremely Quiet!

WOW! The pictures do not do this cabin justice; it literally is on the side of a mountain and very quiet. Great water pressure and internet reception. TVs were easy to use and we had everything we needed! Host was quick to reply to any questions. Highly recommend this rental!

Loved the tiki torches!

We loved the tiki torches, deck and woodsy feel to the area. The drive was a bit challenging with the minivan, but we made it several times up and down the mountain. Beautiful view, but this is not a beach property, that may need to be updated in the listing. Carol responded promptly to every question/issue we had, very responsive.

I’m a dentist in Raleigh, N.C. , just retired, and was lucky to just acquire this home. Really enjoy visiting the cabin and sitting on the deck to enjoy the views. I love hiking the local trails and visiting the local spots. I speak English, French and Italian

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

You’ll enjoy plenty of privacy but you are only a 10 minute drive to Waynesville for groceries, shopping and dining. Very close to the parkway and local ski resorts. The views are excellent with a large wrap around deck to enjoy them. There is a fully equipped kitchen or a brand new gas grill to prepare your meals. Wi-Fi . Etc You will truly enjoy your stay.
