Come and relax at a peaceful mountain getaway nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains. This property features 2 bedrooms, a loft and 2 bathrooms. The home sits at about 3500 feet elevation and offers a beautiful mountain view overlooking the small town of Waynesville. Enjoy your morning coffee on the back porch listening to the birds singing and you may even get a visit from a hummingbird. The mountain has paved roads for easy access.

Shopping and restaurants in downtown Waynesville and Maggie Valley. Western North Carolina is a perfect location for hiking and exploring waterfalls. AC had problems, owner was quick to repair. Property had everything needed for an enjoyable stay and cooking in the kitchen.

The views are as advertised (which is the most important thing), beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Close enough to town while still feeling secluded, very well stocked kitchen and what seemed like new mattresses on the beds.

What a much needed 3 day respite. Most importantly, the sunsets were superb and I spent most evenings on the porch swing gazing out.The house is tastefully decorated with updated comfy sofa and bed.I was only disappointed that there is no vacancy in late October because I am ready to return.

This is a great cozy home. The house has everything you need and it was spotless. We enjoyed the view and many birds including hummingbirds at the feeders.The property is about 15 minutes from downtown Waynesville but feels much more rural up on the mountain. The neighborhood is quiet and the roads are paved so vehicle type isn’t an issue. We really enjoyed our stay and also the towns of both Waynesville and Sylva, the latter about 30 minutes away towards the Smokies.

Gorgeous views and peaceful

Gorgeous views, but still close to Waynesville. Very peaceful, love having a spot where we can bring our furry family members! Saw lots of wildlife, deer, turkeys, an otter and lots of birds hang out on the deck!

We loved our stay here. The view was beyond stunning. We spent most of our time on the back porch. The pictures don't show it but the porch is gated so it was safe for our young kids and dog. The house was incredibly clean. It's the first rental I've been to where everything in the kitchen was clean and not sticky. All of the dishes, pots and pans were in excellent condition and well stocked. For our young kids we were able to make use out of the pack and play, baby gate and step stool. The kids also loved the toy chest upstairs. I was thrilled to find a stack of Freida McFadden books under the coffee table and enjoyed one during my stay. The Internet was fast and we were able to stream to the TV no problem. We loved everything about our stay here and look forward to coming back in the future.

perfect fall vacay

the house was perfect for our needs, cozy, comfortable, and near town. My wife worked from home while we were there, via interwebs (great Wifi). our pooch loved roaming around the field and playing frisbee.

Relaxing stay amongst the birds

We had a great stay in this home. It was very comfortable for our family. The owner responded very quickly to us when needed. The home was nicely equipped. My favorite thing was sitting on the porch, enjoying the beautiful view and watching the birds at the various feeders. It was a very relaxing stay. We would definitely stay here again

Mountain getaway with a view

property was exactly as described, quiet neighborhood. Other houses close by but not too close so still felt mostly private to us. The view was spectacular. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
