No Elevators! This Tidewater Beach Resort large ground floor 3 bedrooms 3 full baths condo is an end unit that sleeps 10. It is 1 of only 2 Tidewater condos with 12 ft ceilings giving it a very large and spacious feel. 2 King Beds, Set of Queen Size Bunk beds Commercial Grade Queen sofa sleeper. It is great for a large family or 2 families or Groups sharing the Spacious condo. One of only a few Ground floor condos at the complex.


You never have to wait on an elevator! Your back door opens directly to the boardwalk just steps from the east pool and the walkway to the beach. Your front door is a few steps from the indoor pool and the Bar B Q grilling area. There is all new living room furniture Commercial Grade Leather Queen Sofa sleeper, Leather Recliner, 2 Leather Barrel Chairs

Tidewater is one of the newest resorts on Panama City Beach and is a great family resort with lots for kids and adults to do on property and nearby. Great Amenities! 3 pools 1 is indoor. There is a Movie Theater on site, Tiki Bar by east pool, Bar and Restaurant on first floor best work out area anywhere on the beach, Free WI-FI in unit, grilling areas on site. Located a short walk, 1/3 of a mile west, of Pier Park Mall and entertainment center.

Master Suite King bed, flat screen cable TV and an ensuite bathroom. Separate walk in shower and a Tub and Shower combination. This bedroom has a spectacular view of the ocean and the sand dunes from large windows.

2nd Master BR King bed flat screen HDTV with cable and a private full bath.

3rd bedroom has a Full bed And has a flat screen TV with cable.

The living room has a Large Flat Screen TV, 2 Commercial Grade Queen size pull out sofa sleepers

At least 1 guest must be age 25 to rent this condo. There is a one-time resort fee of $60 + Tax, for parking passes and resort wrist bands paid to the resort at registration.

The whole condo needed a good cleaning. The trash can was caked with gross stuff around the edges. The floor had not been mopped , maybe swiffered but our feet and socks were black after walking around on it in less than 30 minutes of arrival. The ground floor were we were smelled like sewage as soon as you opened the door. The shower door would not stayed closed. The staff was not very knowledgeable of any questions asked. The extra pillows were dirty.

This is our second stay in this condo. There were some unexpected updates this year that wasn’t noted in the listing. Both sofas have been changed. The bunk bed is gone and has been replaced with a new bed. It isn’t bunks but it’s a much better and more comfortable bed than the bunks were. We were offered early check in for a small fee. It was definitely worth it. I thought that maybe the unit wouldn’t be as clean since they had to rush it but it the cleaning crew did a great job. The only thing we missed was the chain that was on the on outdoor area to block off other guests from the area with that would be considered the balcony. Several strangers walked up to our sliding glass door on accident thinking it was an access to get into the building. It wasn’t a big deal but we liked to leave our beach gear outside but was concerned someone may take it. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. We would definitely recommend this unit and will be using for our PCB vacations.

Love the location of the condo next to the pool which made it easy access with young children was great also. I do feel that the kitchen needs more dish cloths and more utensils/pans etc. The only problem that we ran into was the washer/dryer. It wouldn't dry our last load of clothes. I would suggest you to get a split washer/dryer. (One that sits on top of each other) I didn't like the one you have since you have to put all the clothes in one load and it washes and dries all in one load. Our problem was the washer/dryer stated something went wrong and couldn't get it to dry at all on the last day we was there. Overall I would rent this ground floor condo again.

Could have been great!

Unit has a lot of potential!For reference, i stayed with kids ages 1-15.What I liked:-location / convenience to beach & pool, I thought it would be noisy or obnoxious being so close but we had no issues.-unit seemed clean overall -Unit is close to restaurants, walk isn’t the easiest but it was manageableOur Negatives:-At time of booking & arrival, unit shows photos of bunk beds. There isn’t any!-You are responsible for your own toiletries “after the first round”. For us, this meant we were provided with whatever toilet paper the previous people left, and a package of 2 dishwasher pods.-check in isn’t super clear if you haven’t stayed before-Rain shower in one bedroom needs deep cleaned: there was a lot of buildup so it didn’t work.

Right in the ground floor easy access to pool and beach my family and I loved this place. Lots of good kitchen utensils and cookware. The only gripe would be the pictures and descriptions said the 3rd bedroom had bunkers but it’s just a full and the room is VERY tiny. Also the dishwasher didn’t work so we handwashed. But overall amazing.

Needs some repair

I’ll start by saying that I vacation at the beach almost every year. This is the first time I’ve had to contact an owner with issues. I normally just accept that I’m staying in a rental and renters generally do not take care of them like they would their own home. The pros….. location is great. The size of the unit is great. Most of the furniture and beds were fine. The kitchen was well equipped…. The cons… The kitchen has a waste water leak dripping onto the kitchen counter. This is from the unit above, and not the owners fault. But it was not corrected while I was there, nor did anyone even seem too concerned that I had dirty water in a food prep area. It would drop at random times and for random lengths. This tells me it had to be waste and not fresh water. The sliding glass door to the patio is practically useless since it takes a full grown man’s strength to close it back. There’s metal shavings showing that this has been an ongoing issue. There’s mold in one of the bathrooms. I expect some mold due to the humidity at the beach. The master bathroom has two very nice shower heads. One has an internal leak. I assume that was the odor we kept smelling in that bathroom. The bunk bed in the 3rd room is very wobbly. There is no storage for clothes at all in the third room. The door was never even addressed even though I reported it within an hour of checking in. The water leak was never fixed.

We had a great time at the condo. The view was great and everything was just as described. It is also in great location. I went with my husband and 2 adult children and my mom and my 9month old baby. Even if we didn’t make it down to beach you could still enjoy everything from the room because of such a great view. We would definitely enjoy staying here again.

Family vacation

Had a great time! The front room at the front door wasn’t cleaned too well. Lots of trash under bunk beds. Very noisy being on the ground floor but convenient to the beach. Elevator wait time is terrible but being on the ground was a plus

Ground Floor

We were in town for a weeklong baseball tournament at Publix Sports Park (about 20 minutes away). Access to the beach and pools were great! Didn’t have to worry with the elevators very much. Only used the elevators when we arrived for the week and departed to come home. Close to Pier Park and the Skywheel. Condo wasn’t as clean when we arrived. Almost seemed like the cleaning was rushed. My wife and I went through and swept and wiped down some areas. However, I believe the easy access is what makes this condo a plus, especially with children.

Never again!!!

We will not stay here EVER again. Check-in was at 4:00, we didn't get to check-in until 6:00 due to the cleaning service running behind and our room being cleaned. Some things were still dirty when we entered. We notified the property manager of some items not cleaned. They allowed us to check-out 2 hours later due to the check-in delay. This is a bottom unit so we didn't rely on the elevators as much as most guest do, but when we checked out, we had to use the crossover so we had to use it then. Took us 45 minutes waiting on elevator and that was at 12:00. I would assume most people would be checked out by then. You have to leave your ID before you can get a luggage cart. ALSO, BIG HEADS UP TO THIS RESORT RULE, they own the beach in front of the condo so they can tell you what to do. If you plan to bring your own chairs/umbrellas, you have to sit at waters edge (basically in the water) and risk having all your stuff wet because you block the beach view for people renting the chairs, as if you don't already spend enough on the room, they are forcing your to rent the beach chairs. They harass you the entire stay telling you to move each time the tide changes throughout the day. Could not even enjoy the beach without being harassed to move again. Not relaxing what so ever!!!! Yes, this room comes with chair rentals but that is for 2 chairs, the unit sleeps more than that.

Ease and convenience

This unit was very convenient to come and go from since it’s right on the boardwalk. We were on the beach in minutes and next to the pool which was great for our teens. The issues we ran into are typical of rentals and the management company was out the next morning and had everything addressed. We would rent this unit again. Also, no waiting on elevators!

Fun time!

The location was perfect. The TVs in the two secondary bedrooms did not work but that wasn’t a concern for us. The proximity to the pool and beach was great. Suggest you check the drain in the master shower, it’s running slow. Also, the rollers on the bottom rack of the dishwasher were missing, made it a bit difficult to pull out and load. These were all minor things for us. Thanks!! Overall we had a great trip!
