Acerca de este alojamiento
Aux Cœurs de Céliane - LA CHAPELLE SAINT SAUVEUR
Céline & Stéphane open the doors of an authentic and charming traditional brick and timber-framed farmhouse, built in 1684, carefully restored in an "ecological" spirit, housing a friendly little rural restaurant serving "traditional home cooking" (catering service available during your stay with takeaway meals) nestled in a quiet location, on the edge of fields and wooded meadows, at the confines of a small hamlet, on a property laid out in the spirit of a "micro-farm" (peaceful sheep penned and a henhouse with roosters and hens). In the heart of the unspoiled Bresse countryside, a peaceful landscape of hedged fields dotted with idyllic ponds, rivers, and beautiful wild forests (protected as a ZNIEFF area for its rich fauna and flora), nestled in the lower Doubs valley (classified as a Natura 2000 site for its remarkable ecosystems), not far from the foothills of the Jura mountains. Just steps from the picturesque village center, boasting a fishing pond and a renowned supervised swimming area, equipped for natural swimming and complete with a leisure center. This unique and very comfortable cottage is tucked away under the eaves, creating a cozy atmosphere. Its warm, "country chic" style, with contemporary touches, is enhanced by an elegant, centuries-old timber frame. The ambiance is ultra-cozy and inviting. A pleasant private garden is naturally shaded by trees. Composition: Self-catering cottage in a house that includes a small restaurant (24 covers, open weekday evenings only) and separate owner's accommodation on a property with a small, well-separated motorhome area. Fiber optic Wi-Fi. Wood-fired central heating. The cottage is on the first floor (accessed via an external staircase): living room/kitchen, lounge, 3 bedrooms (2 single beds 90x190cm / 1 double bed 140x190cm / 2 single pull-out beds 90x190cm), shower room, separate WC. Sheltered balcony + garden (20m away) + bicycle storage + private parking. Shops, including supermarkets, are 6 km away. An unusual and charming cottage on a property designed in the style of a "micro-farm"! A delightful, centuries-old traditional Bresse farmhouse (built in 1684) carefully restored in an "ecological" spirit - housing a friendly little country restaurant - nestled in peace and quiet on the edge of fields and wooded meadows, on the outskirts of a small rural hamlet, not far from the center of the typical village of La Chapelle-Saint-Sauveur, which boasts a rare and renowned natural body of water designed for "biological swimming", 6 km from the charming market town of Pierre-de-Bresse (supermarket on site) labeled "Cité de Caractère de Bourgogne Franche Comté" (rich in a renowned ecomuseum nestled in a sumptuous 17th-century castle). Total peace and tranquility in the heart of the gentle, preserved Bresse countryside (largely protected as a ZNIEFF & Natura 2000 zone for its very rich ecosystems), a soothing landscaped setting combining agriculture & nature between vast bocage plains dotted with rivers, bucolic ponds and beautiful wild forests, very close to the first wooded foothills of the Jura massif & its Natural Park (traversed by the GRP of Bresse Comtoise connected to the GR59, accessible 17 km away) as well as the banks of the Doubs (protected natural site, paradise for fishermen and nature lovers). Along the routes of several marked "natural footpaths" (complemented by a very extensive network of approved "green walks" crisscrossing the area, to be explored on foot or by mountain bike) & the "Cycloroute 71" (Tour of Saône-et-Loire by bike), 19 km from the Bresse Jurasienne Green Way, 20 km from the Voie Bleue along the banks of the Saône (adjacent to the EuroVelo 6 cycle route), 23 km from the Verdun-Ciel river marina (nestled at the confluence of the Saône & the Doubs), 28 km from the "Voie Bressane" Green Way (connected to the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud" Green Way), 28 km from the "Voie du Tacot" Green Way (serving Beaune), and about thirty km from the first vineyards of the Jura And about fifty kilometers of vineyards in the Chalonnais region, intersecting those of the famous Côtes de Beaune and Hautes Côtes de Beaune (various wine routes to discover, including the "Route des Grands Vins," which extends into the prestigious "Route des Grands Crus," passing through the legendary wine villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault, etc.). On the edge of the Bresse Bourguignonne – birthplace of the famous AOC Bresse poultry – at the crossroads of the Jura and Côte d'Or departments, not far from the Chalonnais, the Tournugeois-Clunisois (designated a "Land of Art and History") and the Beaune region. Ideally located for exploring several departments: 26 km from Seurre, 26 km from Louhans (capital of Bresse), 35 km from Lons-le-Saunier, 39 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (a designated "City of Art and History"), 41 km from Dole (also a designated "City of Art and History"), 48 km from Cuisery (one of only 8 French "Book Villages"), 48 km from the medieval town of Romenay, 51 km from Beaune, and 51 km from Tournus. An inspiring and cozy haven nestled in a relaxing corner of the countryside!
