Rio grande one week stay
The location was fantastic! Just far enough from the main strip to be quiet but not so far that it was inconvenient. The beach and pool area were gorgeous and very clean. The unit itself was clean and well appointed. The upstairs living room, kitchen and dining area was really nice and exactly as the pictures showed. The door to the balcony didn't shut right enough to lock and would pop open occasionally. The primary bedroom was not quite up to par. The AC unit wasn't working. Jorge was very good about communication and trying to get someone there quickly to get it resolved. Unfortunately it still took half our stay to get it fully repaired. There was mold on the wall under the AC unit as well. The shower in the primary bedroom ensuite didn't seem to be attached and was wobbly. We didn't use it because of concerns. The bathroom, thankfully, had a bath tub as well. The bath tub didn't have a sister attached to a wall only a hand held which made it more challenging for someone with longer hair to rinse fully. While we were there the power to the entire island went out. I was very thankful to have started where we did because the complex had a generator and we were still able to cook and store food safely. It was a lovely stay despite the hiccups with the primary bedroom. I would definitely stay there again!
