Bring the whole family to this great home with lots of room for fun. Welcome to this spacious 4 bedroom home with plenty of features to make your stay peaceful and relaxing. Minutes away from the ocean and close to many wonderful Wineries and Restaurants nearby. You will find many wonderful attractions such as The Monterey Bay Aquarium, Point Lobos, Laguna Seca Raceway, Pebble Beach and Carmel within driving distance.

Excellent choice close to Monterey

Our multi-generational group of 8 found this house to be incredibly spacious, well-stocked, and impeccably clean. The host is very responsible and helpful (an issue we had with a shower handle was fixed the next day) and everything you need to manage the house is clearly labeled. The location is close to both Monterey and Salinas, and hiking in Fort Ord National Monument can begin from your front door.

Eric and group were excellent guest and very understanding We had issue with one of the shower and they cooperated until fixed They also followed all house rules and kept the place nice & neat . We would gladly host them again wherever they wish to revisit Thank you

Pictures don’t lie

The communication with the owner was always immediate. The house was stocked with supplies and food way beyond what I am used to in vacation rentals. The furnishings from India are stunning. The only reason this is not five stars is the badly stained carpet on the stairs and upstairs landing and the rugs in master bath should be cleaned or replaced.

Weekend Family Get Away

The communication with the host was awesome and he allowed us to check in early and check out late if we needed too. We were a tad disappointed since the additional rules we reviewed, we were asked to take off our shoes prior to entering the home. Unfortunately, upon our arrival the carpet going up the stairs and in the upstairs walking area towards the bedrooms were extremely dirty, in addition to the bathrooms mats that were also extremely dirty. We had to leave to go purchase socks in order to acknowledge the rules to remove our shoes since we didn’t want our feet on the dirty floor. Overall the stay was enjoyable and thanks to the host for his outstanding communication

Has the potential to be a great stay...

The house is large and has the potential to be quite nice. However, it smelled bad, wasn't very clean, and was not furnished comfortably. We stayed for a month and had to spend the first few days cleaning, unclogging drains, trying to get rid of bad odors, throwing out old expired food, etc. The home has mostly ornate, decorative Indian furniture. It is interesting, but not comfortable. The rest of the furniture is very cheap and flimsy. Uncomfortable mattresses, one of the particle board bed frames breaking, etc. The master closet is locked and there is no dresser there. You only have access to a small wardrobe, so plan to live out of your suitcase. The dryer was not functioning properly when we arrived. We contacted the host. He WAS responsive, and did get the dryer repaired within a couple days. HOWEVER, I mentioned some of the other concerns we had, and he was dismissive. He tried to make me feel that we should feel lucky to be getting such a great price (we didn't feel it was great for what we got), told us what a great host he is, and suggested that we were unappreciative. The neighborhood is great. My kids enjoyed the playgrounds and we took frequent walks and bike rides. It is a great location to access Monterey, Carmel, Salinas, and for day trips down to Big Sur and even up to the Bay Area. I wouldn't choose to stay in this home again, but maybe the host will take note of some of these issues and it can be a nicer place for another family in the future.

Nice place for a friends trip

House was very clean, beds were very comfortable and owner was fast to respond. He called to let us know of a potential power outage so we could be prepared but it didn’t happen. Would recommend and stay here again.

Comfortable!

The house was very comfortable and well-stocked. We also appreciated the very clear, specific instructions the owners left in the house...WIFI, TV, how things work, etc. Sometimes you end up in a house with great amenities and you can't figure out how to use them. Would rent here again.

Great house and great location

Great location to Monterey. House was ready early, clean, and had all the necessary kitchen equipment. I appreciated the good towels and nightlights around the home. Neighborhood was new, had several parks and quiet at night. Owner had great communication and addressed all questions promptly. Would definitely stay there again.

June 2022 - four night stay

Perfect for our family get together. Plenty of space- the master bathroom is amazing. Quiet neighborhood Host responds quickly to any question or request.
