Adorable 1950's bungalow close to beach.

Original 1950 beach bungalow. Newly remodeled, all new stainless steel appliances, all new furniture, and new beds and bedding. It is four houses back from the beach with a small view of the ocean. You can listen to the waves and enjoy the ocean breezes from the porch. The upstairs porch goes all around on two sides. A large primary bedroom with a King bed. A spacious second bedroom with a queen bed and a set of bunkbeds. Living room has a queen sleeper sofa. Has a double lot, so lots of room to spread out outside, with the fire pit. Downstairs is a game room w/pool table, darts, and TV! We are also surrounded on three sides by empty lots, so it is very private and quiet. NO NEIGHBORS!!!!!!

Great Holiday vacation location.

The first comment has to do with the owners. They are gracious and accommodating. Thank you so much. The rental was clean, spacious and well appointed for an enjoyable stay. Just a short walk to the seawall and jetty. A huge yard ensured privacy. Easy to find, simple check in/out and had every thing needed for a cookout or a day at the beach. We will recommend to family and friends looking to vacation on the Texas Gulf Coast

Perfect Getaway Home

Beautiful home set close to the water. Plenty of cookware, dishes and utensils. Towels were big and thirsty. Saw a basket of beach towels but didn't get a chance to use them. Close enough to the water to hear the roar and see the larger ships going by down at the jetties. Walking distance to the water. Absolutely lovely little getaway. We took Dad for one last trip to the coast. We had a wonderful trip and Dad got his first shark tooth from the beach! Would have stayed an extra day if it had not been booked by someone else. Only drawback was the lack of screens on the windows. Could not enjoy the evening air or sit on the deck at night due to the mosquitos. We will absolutely be back if the owner (Carol) will have us. She was wonderful from reservation to key return.

Home away from home

Very nice and clean place to stay. Just was there to relax and walk the beach, catch up on reading but mostly relax! This is the perfect place to do just that — RELAX! Hope to rebook again soon.

Wonderful stay for my family and dogs

We had an amazing stay at this home. Our family annd 2 dogs enjoyed the home, closeness to the beach, and fun nearby restaurants. We made a fire at night and enjoyed the s’mores kit. We had everything we needed and will be back!

Great location and very cozy!

Great location and a cozy beach house. My family and I went for a birthday weekend. This was my first time using VRBO. There was confusion with me bringing my dog. I thought I noted and paid the fee but the owner messaged me at 2am to address this. I appreciate her understanding my confusion with the application process but the timing of the message felt off. Other then that minor detail, the stay was great and my family had a wonderful time. Loved the game room and fire pit!

Weekend getaway

We had a nice weekend with our granddaughter. The house was clean and had everything needed for our stay. We were rained out so not much beach fun. However, memories made for a lifetime

Wonderful property. It was perfect for us.

First I must say this was by far the cleanest VRBO we've ever rented. Carol was quick to respond to all my questions before and during our stay. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our dinners, and even had a miniature ice maker (don't use tap water!). The bunk beds were a huge hit, and there was plenty of room in the master to set up the pack-n-play for our youngest. Access to the beach was super easy and within walking distance. We ended up renting a golf cart though, because it was faster and we were able to drive on beach, to the butterfly garden, to the jetty, etc. We will definitely be back some time.

Excellent spot for family fun

This was an amazing place to stay. Carol was super responsive and even left fishing gear for us to use. We had our flight cancelled and rescheduled last minute and instead of having no place to stay for my family Carol let us stay another night hassle free! This property is so close to the beach and crabbing pier which makes everyone happy in a diverse group.

Weekend trip

The house is cute, and very well supplied. You don’t need to bring much besides your food & clothes! There was even a water cooler, which was much appreciated! The a/c worked well, and kept the house nice and cool. The house is about a 3 block walk to the beach. It’s set on a large lot, so that was pretty cool. We had some issues with the yard, and trash bin from the previous renters, but the manager was quick to respond regarding that. Overall, a good stay!

The perfect Barbie Beach house

I have 2 girls under the age of 5 who love Barbie and we surprised them!! The house was beautiful. Calm colors, comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Just perfect. The best time to sit in the living room is in the morning with the blinds open. It's just peaceful.
