Beautiful 4 Bedroom Beach House w/ Access to Resort Amenities

Welcome to our newly constructed 4 bedroom, 2 floor house in South Beach Cottages. This house is just minutes from the beach and a short drive to Myrtle Beach's top attractions such as Broadway at the Beach, Market Common, and the Boardwalk.

Guests will have access to the community swimming pool as well as select amenities at Landmark Resort and access to the year-round waterpark at Crown Reef Resort.

Guests will check in at the Landmark Resort located at 1501 S Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach.

This 4-bedroom beach house sleeps 10. There is a queen bed in three of the bedrooms, and the fourth bedroom has two twins. The living room is also equipped with a sleeper sofa and a private balcony. The house has a full kitchen with basic cookware and dishware, washer and dryer, and TVs in each bedroom and the living room.

The house also feature 3.5 bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, hair dryers, and iron/ironing board.

Parking for 3 vehicles onsite is available; additional vehicles will need to find street parking.

ENJOY ACCESS TO SELECT LANDMARK AMENITIES (located on 15th Ave S, one mile away):

Pets are not allowed. A fine of $500 will be assessed if a pet is brought into a unit. Service animals are not considered pets when required to perform a specific duty for the owner, and must be registered at the front desk at check-in. Emotional support animals however are considered pets and are not allowed at any time.

Nice place for beach swimming

The photos are somewhat misleading ... there was only one deck chair for our early July 2023 visit (not two as shown in the first slide for this property). Also, some of the later photos of the water slides are of the Crown Reef hotel two blocks away... but the Landmark check-in team did not have any information on access to Crown Reef. The photos are very accurate about the other seating ... all you get are the couch, three chairs for the table, and the four tall bar stools shown in the photos. The additional folding bar stools in the 1st floor closet are hardly worth mentioning. You will need to be creative if you want to gather more than three people around that table. Also, the paperwork for this property specifies access to a beach equipment closet, which is clearly visible with a lock box at the bottom of the stairs. But the Landmark check-in team had no knowledge of the lock-box key code. We do not need much beach equipment, but it would have been nice to leave our stuff in that closet to reduce the sand going up stairs. It is also a disappointing way to start a vacation having been contractually promised access to the Crown Reef and the sand/beach equipment closet but then not having it fulfilled by Landmark. We got over it, but it was an unnecessary downer.

Not as advertised, little help

After waiting almost two hours after the 4:00 check in time to get in, we found the key pass did not work and we had to wait for the maintenance man to come and reprogram the lock. Once we were finally inside it was quickly apparent that the entire upstairs air conditioning was not working. I was very dismayed that even after alerting the Landmark mgmt team that I had three in my party with respiratory issues and that air conditioning was a must have, I still had to wait 24hours to get it fixed. In my opinion that should have been considered an emergency maintenance situation. Soon after we found that only 2 of 4 tvs were operational and that was only after another visit from maintenance. At that time we also pointed out to maintenance the damage we found upon checking in which included a busted and unusable wicker chair on the balcony, a badly cracked and dangerous cooktop on the stove, a hole in the living room wall, window frames that fell out when you try to raise the windows, beds that were falling apart and a refrigerator that had no door shelves which eliminated about a third of the storage space in there. Probably the biggest inconvenience though, was that in the agreement that Landmark had me sign prior to renting to me it clearly states that this unit comes with a storage closet full of beach chairs, coolers, 3 beach umbrellas, and sand toys for our use. No key was provided and we had to buy these things and should have been reimbursed. We were not. Very disappointe

Clean & Cute—Close to Beach & Water p

This property was a perfect location to walk to the beach and the water park. The communication with the property management group and the property owner was not good. No one seemed to be able to give clear answers to basic questions like the WIFI network and password? What the entertainment schedule was? The property is clean & cute.

The Place was great!

The house was great. A few minor things needed to be repaired but overall the place was clean, the staff helpful and the amenities including in our stay were perfect. Would definitely stay again.
