We look forward to welcoming you and your family (including dogs) to Bird’s Eye View, our 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house, on pilings with beautiful marsh and ocean views from 3 decks and easy beach access. This 3rd-row vacation home is located on the quiet West side of Oak Island with gorgeous views of both the ocean and salt marsh. The home includes a spacious two-story family room filled with natural light and plenty of seating for everyone to relax after a day in the sun.

This home is managed by the owners, rather than a property management company, so you'll receive personal attention to answer your questions or address any issues. Check out the reviews, all of which are 5-star! We're also happy to provide tips on restaurants and things to do in the area.

You’ll enjoy cooking in the well-equipped large kitchen complete with dining area or on a propane grill looking out over the marsh on the back deck. No matter where you are inside or out you will have the ability to slip away and enjoy a picturesque and peaceful lookout.

The bedrooms are carefully spread around the house. The primary bedroom (Queen) is tucked away on the main floor, offering privacy and includes a new (2023) ensuite bathroom and large closet and window seat. A bunkroom is located on the same floor with a powder room nearby. The upstairs guest rooms share a new bathroom, with a luxurious soaking tub (and shower) located off the hallway. The King bedroom has a private Oceanview sitting room and flat screen tv. The Queen guestroom has access to the private rooftop deck overlooking the marsh with comfortable Adirondack chairs for your morning coffee or to watch beautiful sunsets. Hidden behind a barn door on the main floor is a comfortable den and desk/monitor setup overlooking the back deck and marsh, perfect for both quiet remote work or as a kids retreat, reading or just relaxing.

After you’ve enjoyed the sun and surf at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower with hot and cold water and then relax on the front deck with views of the ocean or back deck with views of the marsh. Parking under the house and on large driveway is available for full family and guest use. No need to deal with OKI's parking restrictions. (Please do not park electric vehicles under the house.)

We've invested in High-Speed internet for our guests. The four TVs are "smart" or include Roku or Firesticks so you can log in to your favorite streaming programs with YOUR log-in credentials for Netflix, Disney +, Prime Video, Hulu, Paramount+, DIRECTV Stream, YouTube TV, Spectrum Streaming, Max, etc., etc. or even your Gaming systems.

But most of the time you'll be outdoors! Included for family fun are outside / beach accessories, such as beach chairs, an umbrella, corn hole boards, firepit, etc. A ping pong table is setup in the garage for team play! There are also a couple of bikes for your use.

The home sleeps 10 in 4 bedrooms (including a bunkroom with a twin over full bunkbed plus twin trundle). Linens and towels are not provided, so you may either bring your own or contact Beach Stuff Linen Rental (www.rudd.com/beach-stuff-linen-rental).
