Property was not in the best neighborhood. Neighbors next door had several big outside toys, like a motorcycle and large trucks. Air conditioner only could be programmed down to 72 degrees. During day, it did would not go below 75 degrees inside the house. Found three live roaches (only got pictures of two). Living room fan was dirty, blades turning wrong way for summer, and no remote to make fan go faster. Shower head and curtain in spare bath very dirty. Pool was cleaned by service once during stay but we had no knowledge that a person was coming. Several large spiders outside by pool area.
AC programmed to only go down to 72 degrees.
AC trying to cool house down during day but not go below 75 degrees.

This was our second time booking here and will definitely plan on staying again for our next Florida trip! Plenty of room for a family of 4, clean and everything in working order. Owner is very responsive to any questions at any time. We were very satisfied with our stay. The pool is very clean and well maintained. Following a couple storms that came through, the pump was running but, the jets were not running properly and right away we contacted the owner who responded quickly and explained what we could do or that he could contact the pool company. This experience proved how the owner valued his home and the guests as well!

Nice house

The house was clean and a good size for all of us. The pool was wonderful, and probably the best part of our stay. Matt was very responsive to questions we had. We would definitely recommend the property.

Nice Home

The house was very nice. Kids loved the pool table and pool. Basic amenities within reasonable driving distance. Matt was very quick with his responses and helping us out when the door lock stopping working. Simple battery fix.Hudson beach was very small. We chose to drive further to Sunset Beach about 45 min drive.

Perfect getaway

This was are 2nd year staying at this location and will come back every time we come to this part of Florida very kid friendly pool was wonderful and the host are very nice and quick to respond on any question or issues which there was no issues overall 100 out of10

Great Vacation House

The neighborhood was quiet and the house was great. It was roomy, clean and the pool was wonderful. It was also close to the beach. This was my second stay here and I will stay here again on my next visit.

Cute, home away from home

Our stay at Jolly Roger Rd. was amazing!! We spent a lot of time in the pool. We had plenty of room for our family to get together to have a meal together, that we hadnt had in 18 years, because we all live in different states. My father has stage 4 lung cancer, so this was a much needed emotional trip, and this was the perfect home away from home.

Great stay, the family laughed a lot!

Overall we had a great time, easy check-in and out. We had a few issues which we contacted Matt and Abby about, they replied quickly and helped where needed. The inside is much larger then it looks outside and the neighborhood was quite with a park right down the road. No one informed Matt and Abby the screen around the pool had broken so we did get attacked by the no see um's (nats) around the pool which limited the amount of time we could stay out there after 6. The exterminators recommended the thermacell repellent. So we made up for it with competition on the pool table, citronella candles and the thermacell repellent! Turns out the pool table got my mother moving and feeling great. She used to play couples with my step pops before he passed and we learned the hard way how good they were. In all, you pretty much have what you need to have a great time just remember the bug spray, and sunblock!

Excellent rental property! One of the best we've stayed at.

Very clean unit, its just as described but better in person. Very spacius living room and kitchen and the pool table is a nice fun touch but that swimming pool and pool area are awesome!! And finally a rental with some good cookware! I dont kmow why more hosts dont care at all about that so wanted to give extra props for that! Lastly, Mart is easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. We would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend this property!

Very nice rental

We rented the house January thru March 2024. House is as shown in pictures. Clean, well stocked as far as cooking supplies. I was not happy with the condition of the towels and reached out to Matt and they sent new towels right away. My only complaint, it took about 7 weeks to get the pool straightened out to where it heated up. Pool was great once it warmed up. Matt was very easy to reach and very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend Matt and his wife as people to rent from on VRBO.

Christmas Vacation Trip

We arrived to a dirty pool that wasn’t heated along with dirty dishes in the cupboard. The place was overall dirty. Owner compensated one night for the pool not working. However our whole vacation we were unable to use the pool because it never heated enough to use. We were told different reasons for it not working. When I sent pictures of the issues and reached out again owner never responded. Sent someone over to look at the pool 12 hrs before we left. Never had a owner not try to make things right till now. Don’t go when the pool needs to be heated cause you will be disappointed.

Fun Vacation

We enjoyed our vacation in Hudson. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping close by, and beautiful beaches were only an hour away. The pool was nice and refreshing in spite of the heat wave while we were there. While the house did get warm during the days due to the extreme heat indexes, extra fans were provided to help keep us comfortable. Matt was very resposive with any questions we had. We had a great time playing pool inside! It was a fun week for our family.

Relaxing

We had a great relaxing stay. Pool on site was key for the Florida heat. The privacy in the pool area from the neighbors made it very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Perfect for our family!

This house was perfect for our family of 6. Matt was very quick to answer any questions and made sure the house was stocked with necessities. The house and pool were very nice, clean and the pool table helped to keep the kids busy. Hudson and Port Richey have tons of stuff for kids to do. There is only a small beach in Hudson but there are several other larger beaches within reasonable driving distance. 10/10 would recommend!

Pool table for the win!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The family area is very open and inviting. We used the pool table more than the pool! It kept the teens out of their rooms even though they each had a tv for their game systems! I enjoyed preparing meals and still being a part of the action, as it's completely open and they had everything we needed to cook- including a gas grill. The pool and patio were very enjoyable-having it screened in is clutch in Florida! You can hear the distinct, Brown-headed nutchatch in the evenings (hopefully the neighbors change the battery in their smoke detector so you don't have to listen to that 🤔). It's just a 10 min drive to watch the sunset at Hudson Beach (not a beach 🏖️ to swim/ layout at). The location was great for what we had planned, not quite as busy, and near the highway, not far from Aldi (I would recommend renting a car). The neighborhood is nice, there is a cute crane couple that we spotted each day, pecking through the yards. The furniture was comfortable, Alexa was there, it felt like home away from home. We would definitely stay again if we visit that area!
