The Perfect Solution

The proximity of this accommodation to a cousins house would have been reason enough to stay here, but the space was delightful on its own. Highly recommended.

Bears, Biscuits, and Breweries

Bears, biscuits, and breweries- our Ashland visit was fantastic and this property was the perfect spot to rest our heads. Wonderful hosts, comfortable accommodations, and a great location. We would definitively recommend to anyone wanting close access to Ashevilles offerings, but secluded enough for bear sightings and a quiet place at the end of the night. Lovely escape

The property is beautiful and as promised. We saw a bear, a deer, lots of turkeys ... And were greeted by a turtle as we arrived. Convenient to downtown and hiking, but secluded and quiet for nighttime escape.

Perfect Get Away!

The owners had everything very organized so all of your needs were met! They were very responsive and gave any information you would need to make checkin and checkout easy. It was the perfect distance from downtown to be convenient while still being able to get away from the downtown feel. Easy to get to any parkway, forest or hike! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Weekend Getaway

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with a wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain house! The house is on a private driveway with lots of privacy and great views of the surrounding mountains. The rental was well appointed inside with many luxury touches! The space was perfect for two adults and the touches left by the owners were very welcoming! Close proximity to downtown, hiking and the Grove Park! A perfect spot for any Asheville visit!

A beautiful space to relax

The property is in a great location with wonderful views and close to town. The hosts took great care of us and we enjoyed the peace and quiet! One note for those staying - there is no kitchen sink. Just be prepared for that. We had a great time and this was not an issue for our two day stay.

Terrific Girls Getaway

Perfect for our sister weekend getaway. Mindy and Gerry made certain we had everything needed for an enjoyable stay- from the comfy bed, to the bottle of wine, very thoughtful. The location was far enough out of town for us to watch deer in the front yard but close enough to be downtown in a short 10 min drive. Only note would be for the host to post house number at the end of driveway as the property itself is hidden behind another house, specifically if arriving in the evening hours. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend!

Perfect space and location

This studio is perfect for a weekend getaway; private and quiet but super close to downtown. The space is the perfect mix of quaint and luxury and really felt homey. Gerry was friendly and easy to communicate with. Would definitely visit again!!

Country retreat

Lovely studio in a beautiful location. We didn’t see any wildlife but know that it is common to do so. Not sure I wanted to come face to face with a bear anyway! Would benefit from a stand alone induction hob…..
