Come make some memories in our peaceful slice of the country! This fully fenced 2 acre space is perfect for escaping the city without going too far. Located 30 minutes from PDX, 20 minutes to Mcmenamins Kalama Harbor Lodge, 7 minutes from iLani casino, 15 minutes from Clark County Amphitheater, and a quick drive to many more outdoor adventures. The garage and apartment above it are rented monthly and not included in short term rentals. Events and parties not allowed through this platform.

The host is very friendly and easy to communicate with throughout your stay for any questions or requests. The home and the property are beautiful and a great place to enjoy the company of family and friends. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to escape into nature, enjoy quality fun with friends and family at the home, as well as spend some time at the nearby casinos.

Beautiful house and setting! Quiet location with super cute decor and detailed manicured lawn. The hot tub was great each morning and the rooms fit our family perfect. Very comfy beds and close to our family in Ridgefield. Very clean and smelled great! Delicious bakery up the street! Would definitely stay 100 times again.

Enchanted atmosphere

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property with us ! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and want to plan another stay . We were there for a week to prepare for our daughter’s wedding. The house and the property are beautiful. We really appreciated and enjoyed the Speak Easy for our daughter rehearsal dinner . Even with the rain everyone had a GREAT time !

Absolutely Amazing!!

We absolutely loved our time in this VRBO! The grounds were beautifully kept and we loved sitting on the front porch admiring the view. The beds were super comfortable and everything was very clean. We have local family, and I cooked several meals that we enjoyed together. The kitchen was well stocked and organized. There were plenty of sitting areas and we enjoyed a family movie night on the large sectional. The decor was fun and relaxing. We hope to be able to come back here next year!! Our host was very responsive and easy to work with:)

Peaceful place. Nice clean, and comfortable

We have family in the area and needed a nice place we could all get together. The house was better than the pictures make it look. The house was wonderful for us. Nice kitchen and big table we could all gather around to eat then play board games afterwards. We went in the rainy season, and the house was perfect for us all to just sit comfortably, and hang out. The host was great. Message was clear on what to expect..great place to stay!!!!

Picture perfect!

This place is maybe the most relaxing setting I have ever experienced. The yard is perfectly manicured and landscaped. The house is set off the main road- the only sounds you here are cows and an occasional dog. The hot tub is an added bonus. The interior is very well decorated and comfortable. Kitchen is stocked very well and everything worked great. Beds are plentiful and comfy. Communication with Laura was great- very responsive and detailed. The only thing we missed were the fans that are provided....but that's on me for not reading thru the note Laura sent. This will be my go-to place when needing extra space in the Portland area. Five stars!

Ape caves trip

The house is really nice, very well maintained and super comfortable! The location was perfect, quiet, out of the way, very private, which is what we like. The yard is beautiful! Our whole family just loved everything about it! The only problem we had (which has no reflection on the property or the hosts) is that my husband and I have Android phones, therefore Google maps. It didn't take us to the right street, we ended up having to put in 348th not 349th. Luckily our children have iPhones and there map app worked just fine.

Paradise!

The moment we drove up to the property we were amazed at its beauty! The expansive lawn with the most enchanting swings, gardens, orchard, fireplace, home and speakeasy were all stunning! It was the perfect setting to celebrate with family and friends the graduation of our two doctors. The house was immaculate, beautiful and so comfortable. All of our guest thoroughly enjoyed themselves and consistently commented on this lovely property. Dave and Laura answered all our questions along the way and really were committed to making our stay unforgettable! We already have people booking the property for their own events! Thank you Dave and Laura!

Beautiful Getaway

We had a wonderful stay with family. The property is large enough to have big gatherings and well kept. We enjoyed the peaceful location surrounded by the trees. Great place for walks and letting dogs run around. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Family reunion

This is a lovely home and property with space for everyone. The speakeasy provides a bathroom that's at the far end of property which is great since it's 3 acres and little ones need one close. The grounds are lovely. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Only drawback is lack of screens in windows. Really loved everything! Host was great to work with. Will consider renting for our annual reunion next year.

Absolutely beautiful property!

We booked this property for our family to stay for our wedding near by. I can not say enough about the hosts, wonderful people, great communication and very accommodating. We ended up having our rehearsal here and all our guests commented how lovely it was. The speakeasy was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this property and will definitely book again!

Family Christmas together

This property was wonderful for our family Christmas together. It had everything we needed, including a tree and a few warm, festive decorations. Communication with the owners was top notch. They even went out of their way to purchase a ramp so that a disabled family member of ours could get into the house . We were very satisfied, and would happily stay again.

Excellent Experience

From the start, communication with the owner was excellent. We had several questions which were answered and explained. Once we arrive, the listing was as detailed - a beautiful, countryside home with plenty of space to roam. The hot tub was an excellent touch after a long day and the check-in gift from the owner was very thoughtful and kind. The owner maintained an open line of communication throughout the stay, regularly checking in to see if we needed anything. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay :-)

RELAXING AND PEACEFUL GETAWAY

We had a fantastic visit with our grown kids, their families and dogs. The pictures on the website looked amazing but the actual house is even more amazing than the pictures. It was so clean and welcoming. Kitchen was fully furnished, bedrooms were decked out with great sheets, blankets and pillows. Lots of extras if we needed them. Bathrooms were so clean. We just kept asking ourselves how anyone would not want to live here. We did rent the extra "speakeasy" space and it was so fun to have a fun space that we do not have at our own home. We played foosball, darts and served up fun beverages. In the evening it was great to sit in the jacuzzi and relax by the fire. During the day we had plenty of room to play some yard games, and run the dogs. . The entry and exit instructions were very reasonable and realistic. We had a couple of questions when we first arrived and Dave and Laura were so fast to respond. I can not express with enough words how much being able to stay on this beautiful property enhanced our time together.

Amazing Wedding Venue

My husband and I had our wedding at this property on 06/18/22 and it could not have been a more perfect location. From the 'speakeasy' to the swing to the cozy home, this property was perfect for our special day! One of the most common comments we received from our guests, vendors, etc. was "Where did you find this place? It's beautiful!" and it really is. Laura was so helpful through the entire processes and really made sure we had everything we needed and all our questions answered before our day. She made this processes so easy and stress free. The way that Dave maintains this property is unmatched, the lawn, the trees, all of it was perfection! Location is very quiet and private, and it is a very spacious property. Our guests enjoyed playing foosball and the speakeasy was a great location to have drinks. Thank you to Laura and Dave for making our day unforgettable!

Beautiful home on lovely property.

We had a wonderful visit with our children and this home was perfect for them. The children enjoyed playing in the yard, roasting marshmallows, hunting for big foot with nerf guns. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy nature.
