Twisted Palm is a newly built 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath home in the heart of Historic Old Town Port Aransas, sleeping 10. Spend the afternoon in the private heated pool, work on your short game on the putting green, then load up the 6-seat golf cart and head to the beach, restaurants and shops.

On the 4th of July and New Year's Eve, you'll watch the fireworks right from the house. No crowds, no parking, no hauling chairs.

Inside, the open living room, kitchen and dining area seating for 9 for family meals. The master has a king bed and an ensuite bath with a walk-in shower. Two bedrooms have queen beds, and the fourth has a full-over-full bunk the kids will love. The driveway parks 6 vehicles with room for a boat, which makes it a natural fit for fishing trips and the Deep Sea Roundup.

Gas grill, washer and dryer, and fast WiFi. Winter Texans welcome for monthly stays. Traveling with a bigger group? Book it together with Whispering Palms, two blocks away.

THE GULF ST COMPOUND (both houses together)

Two houses, two blocks apart, booked as one: 8 bedrooms, 6 baths, sleeps 20, two private heated pools, two golf carts, a putting green, room for a boat, and fireworks views from both houses on the 4th of July and New Year's Eve. Bring the dog too: pets are welcome at Whispering Palms. Built for family reunions, weddings and fishing groups.

Lock box code for the key box didn’t work, so we had to call for help to let us in, and the AC vent in the ceiling leaked on night one, but all in all a great trip and would still highly recommend

The host was very responsive and helpful. The golf cart and heated pool were an awesome amenities for the time of year we went (December). Fun property, close to everything. The beds were really tough to sleep in- not super comfortable and very loud every time you move. None of us slept that great, the only down side of the property.

The house was perfect and we loved the outdoor space. We really enjoyed being close to town and just a short drive away from beach.

Our family vacation

Was an overall great experience the only complaint was the heated pool cooled after 10pm it was no longer warm and the first night everything was great but 2nd night pool was covered in a blanket of mosquitoes so needless to say we didn’t enjoy downstairs or the pool the next day

Beautiful and Wonderful Place…just too many hiccups!

Place was absolutely beautiful, extremely nice and the amenities were awesome! However, here were our major problems with our stay: 1. We got notified we could check in early, we arrived then the keys were not in the lockbox at the property. We had to wait for someone to bring us the keys. 2. The pool was dirty. Went in circles to get it cleaned. Property management sent over a disgruntled and unprofessional employee to address issue. Had to request that the disgruntled employee not be sent back to address any issues, because of his horrible attitude and demeanor. Ultimately the issue was resolved and the pool got cleaned. 3. Roach/water bug were found inside the property. 4. Active Fire Ants/mounds located near pool. Had to request pest control. Issue was resolved and pest control employee was great. 5. Propane tank was almost empty, had to request full tank. 6. BBQ Grill caught on fire because unbeknownst to us the drip pan was full of grease. Grill was completely damage and had to be replaced. Maintenance person was very apologetic and accepted full responsibility for not properly cleaning drip pan prior to our arrival. 7. Laundry room door was damaged and fell off hinge. Door would not close properly. Called and reported to property management. Overall, the home/interior was extremely nice and very well kept. The amenities were awesome as well; heated pool and golf cart! If they fix the aforementioned hiccups for future guest, it’s a magnificent stay!

Awesome place! Our family all loved it! Super spacious, very nice and clean inside and out. The backyard is bigger than the pictures make it look. You can come back from the beach with plenty to do at the house! Will be back!

This was probably one of our best stays. We had to endure some bad weather but the house helped us stave off boredom. The location and amenities alone gain the 5 stars.
