Sweet family cabin right on the edge of Chester's Big Meadow reserve. Amazing sunrise views, gorgeous dark skies for stars at night. The kitchen was well appointed and made cooking easy.

Fantastic little hideaway with a great view

Comfortable beds, clean, quaint and unique. We enjoyed staying here. The view of Lake Almanor from the back porch was gorgeous.

Cozy and cute place to stay just 30 minutes from Lassen Park. My Bestie and I used this as a homebase for visiting the park and a day of fishing for trout on Lake Alamanor. After a long day of hiking, it was nice to come back to this little nugget in Chester and sit by the fire pit and relax. The place is adorable, clean and just as is pictured and Patti was super responsive.

The location of the property was great and provided us with easy access to Lassen Volcanic NP for two days. The kitchen was tight quarters but more than made up for it with all of the accessories available and allowed us to cook breakfast and dinner easily. It had great space for my two teens. The owners were responsive and lovely to work with.

Great Stay

Awesome cabin that feels very cozy and homey in a lovely little town. Perfect place and house for a little get away with your partner or even the whole family. My partner and I had a lovely weekend and will certainly be back in the near future.

Great Stay for weekend wedding

Perfect house for our family to stay for a lovely weekend wedding of our nephew! Loved the extra touch of having fireplace ready with kindling and newspaper. Beds were all very comfortable!

We so enjoyed the location and views. Very private and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed. Our journey to town for supplies was very easy.

Sweet cabin by the lake

We had a lovely time this cabin. Close to town, could ride our bikes everywhere, and lovely walks all around. Very relaxing!

Brad only responded to one of my messages, during his stay. I would have preferred a little more communication from him. Also, he left my house unlocked, and did not remove his trash. He left stuff out on my kitchen counter.

Great for exploring Lassen National Park

Great place right on the edge of Chester. Very quiet area with a nice view. Easy to get into town. The purpose of our visit was to explore Lassen, but great proximity to the lake as well. House was clean with spacious bedrooms.

Beautiful and peaceful

A beautiful location overlooking the meadow, with Lake Almanor and the mountains in the distance. Super cute house with a nicely stocked kitchen and pantry. Very homey.

Chester VRBO Stay

We were very pleased with our stay and the house was perfect for our group. Great parking for our truck and boats. Beautiful view of the pasture leading to Almanor Lake. Will definitely recommend this house to others and will look forward to returning myself.
