Sugar Creek Escape at Turkey Run

Beautiful home located in the heart of the best nature experiences Indiana has to offer! This home sits on 14 wooded acres a mile from Turkey Run and a ~100 yards from Sugar Creek & Cox Ford covered bridge which has a wonderful canoe/kayak pullout.

The Amish built home includes panoramic nature views and luxury accommodations such as high end kitchen appliances, full washer / dryer, 3 queen size beds plus a queen futon and extra cots for additional sleepers, master bath with jetted tub, billiards room, walk out basement, back deck and patio with fire pit. High speed internet available with streaming services. We also have board games, video games, DVD players, etc provided with the home.

A Turkey Run pass is included. Turkey Run has exceptional hiking, a large pool in summer and a great nature center. Shades State Park is a close 10 minute drive.

Sugar Creek is a phenomenal river great for kayaking, fishing and wildlife viewing. Several outfitters very close by offer different canoe/kayak/tubing trips (would recommend booking in advance.)

Rockville is a 10 minute drive and offers groceries and good dining. There are many other activities in the area we can suggest and of course the annual Covered Bridge festival.

We had a wonderful stay enhanced by lovely weather while spring flowers bloomed throughout our stay. The listing is accurate, the Host was gracious and had everything ready for our arrival with plenty of local information collected and placed in a binder. The house was well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, and there were all sorts of things in the home to keep us entertained. We loved the golf simulator game, the pool table, and the vinyl record collection. The property is less than a mile drive to the Turkey Run State Park. We hiked 3 different trails, had a great dinner each night in town, and had a very relaxing 3 night stay. I highly recommend this property and Host. 5 !

Cannot say enough about our stay! Clint was extremely helpful the entire time, the home itself was gorgeous and accommodating, everything we needed was available on site, location was perfect, pictures just dont do this place justice, literally felt like home. We will be booking this home for future vacations!

Turkey Run stay

Beautiful house. The owner has worked hard to make the home accommodating to all ages. The home's location was perfect for exploring Turkey Run State Park. Can't get much closer than this home.

Beautiful and clean home. Lots of things to do without even leaving the home (pool table, golf arcade game, board games, etc.). Multiple outdoor spaces for family to gather (deck and a fire pit). Nearby dining, recreation equipment rental and grocery store. The host checked on us multiple times. We highly recommend this property and host.

Wonderful place to have a reunion with family! The host was so responsive and was even able to let us check in early so my daughter could go down for her afternoon nap there after we arrived. So special to hike the same trails at Turkey Run with my daughter that I did when I was a kid. The place itself has everything you could want and is pretty kid friendly. Just a note that you should bring some gallon jugs of drinking water along. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked each night we were there and enjoyed a cozy fire in the fire pit. Thank you for opening your beautiful home! We will definitely be returning!

Beautiful property minutes from Turkey Run

We spent 3 nights at this lovely, well maintained property with our adult kids and 1-year old granddaughter. It was a perfect place for sharing meals and relaxing by the fire pit after hiking the trails at Turkey Run.
