no swimming or motorized boats in the lake. We allow dogs. A $100 pet fee must be paid before arriving at the location. each home has a ring door bell camera, if you bring a pet without paying the fee it will increase to $250. Thank you for understanding!


We have 7 properties close in this community with a sleeping total of 17 if you have a family getaway! Our other homes in this community are 1177760, 2136515 and 3138096, 2677241, 3721145, 3543545.

Imagine waking up to water views right out your window! The oversized back deck is literally at the water. The birds are chirping, the geese are swimming by and your vacation has begun!

Lake Kathy is a small lake in a community of some rentals and some home owners. No motorized boats.

Everything in this home from the studs out is brand new! Opened February 2022. This home is in a private community about 30 minutes south of Chattanooga super easy access to i-75! Two bedrooms and one bath. The spare bedroom has a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and a twin on top. Washer and dryer in the home.

Great walkable community. You literally can sit with your legs hanging off the back deck and fish. We have three more homes in this community. One across the street and two a few doors down. So it's great if you have a group of people as well! Let me know if you have any questions!

We absolutely loved our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a tad chilly out so we couldn’t sit outside, but the beautiful view made up for it. My dog loved seeing the geese and enjoyed new places to sniff. The house was perfectly clean and enjoyable! The only improvement I could suggest is a few more utensils and pans available in the kitchen. Stuff for baking would be great.

We were in town for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay at this property. We loved the deck and being right on the water. The kids loved feeding the ducks with the food provided for them at the property. It was spacious enough and decorated so cute. It had everything we needed for a weekend away. The host were always quick in responding during the booking process and during the stay. We would definitely come back or recommend this property to others.

back rail of deck is missing so this could be difficult with young children. They left charcoal & a grill which we enjoyed. House was quiet & peaceful.( if you fish - dont eat the fish )

Unfortunately our air went out the day before we arrived and the owners weren't aware. They did everything they could to help us be more comfortable furnishing big fans and a portable AC unit which helped quite a lot. The fishing was great and we had a great time overall

We had a great time, the place was really nice, and it was an awesome area making the commute to and from the softball complex a breeze! The kids really enjoyed fishing and feeding the ducks/geese.

Cute and homey!

We stayed for 4 nights as it was close to our daughters softball tournament. We enjoyed the homes decor and layout and it was very comfortable. Such a peaceful setting after long hot days at the ball field. *Ice cold A/C!!! The owner/manager was very responsive and helpful.

Lakeside Cottage

Perfect for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the home and fished from the deck. Caught quite a few and enjoyed watching the turtles. Very close to Chattanooga. We also highly recommend the Tunnel Hill tour.

Beautiful cabin on the water

The woodwork and decor were very well done. Everything was clean and ready for us. We were traveling and just stayed one night but it was a great location close to I75. The back deck goes right to the water so you could really fish off the deck. It was raining while we were there, but it was still beautiful. Thank you for your hospitality!

Beautiful home on the Lake

I’m not sure I ever heard from the actual owner or property manager as they seem to own many properties. I can say that Cassie, the housekeeper for the property, was wonderful! She let us know the home would be available for an early check-in and provided useful information throughout our stay. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and being on the small lake was heavenly! Just what my husband and I needed!In reference to negative reviews on the neighborhood, I found it to be exactly as the homeowners, property manager, Cassie, or whoever described this is a neighborhood of good, kind, country folks. It was refreshing!!!

Perfect getaway

This place is awesome! My wife and I came down for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. The cabin is super clean and very cozy. The fishing is exceptional. I caught bass, bluegill, carp, and giant catfish! I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to get away for a few days

Cottage on a geese reservoir

The cabin was renovated to an adorable cottage. The kitchen is equipped well enough to cook own meals. The main living room area is quite large. Couches are comfy. Meals are at the counter with wood bar stools. The king bed is hard as others mentioned. The front leads to the master bedroom. The back patio door is supposed to be the main entrance with a combo lock. The deck has a few missing rails and note to young families, the pic is real at end of open deck to water is about a 2 foot drop. The grill has weathered and rusted so I do not recommend using it. I never did get the instructions on entering the home and guidelines. Thankfully the property manager was near and responsive to help me enter! She was very helpful and kind. I did take a wonderful walk all the way around Kathy Lake and it was quite safe and peaceful.I could easily identify the other renovated cabins for rentals. Lower income homes are mixed in with a few places that are vacated. And a few newish nice homes too. The whole area is on small reservoir or pond. Now the geese are very happy living on their little island and visiting the grounds. It’s a wonder how they squawk all day into the evening! They will leave you alone if you don’t bug them. I am not a fan of these messy poopy birds but those that do can feed them their food in the jar provided.The water is not what I consider a swimming area with the geese and moss.

Great relaxing stay and caught a lot of fish.

It was very relaxing with excellent entertainment system, large deck right on the water and very nice. We caught around 12 catfish,4 large mouth bass and 3 bream RIGHT off the DECK! lolz. We loved it and will be back!!!

Girlfriends Getaway!

We had such a sweet visit! The cabin was so serene and peaceful! The views of the water as the sun rose each morning were amazing! The geese were a little scary, but we enjoyed watching them!

Cute cozy cabin

Such a cute cabin. Perfect getaway for my husband and I. We enjoyed our stay. Short drive to Dalton, Ringgold and Chattanooga. Would definitely book again.

Beautifully updated lakeside cottage.

Less than 10miles from downtown Dalton on a private lake Kathy. The inside of the property is amazing and the back deck/dock makes fishing easy and super convenient. I wish there was a paddle boat or canoe available for the guest, that would icing on the cake.

Delightful stay

Close to Varnell Springs and Cohutta. There were lovely morning views over the lake, lots of birds, and fishing off the dock.

Just what we needed

The cabin is adorable and so well decorated. Very homey feel and comfy. The added bonus to fish from the deck, the kids loved. You have all basic necessities needed and the kids were super excited to find an added sweet treat on there pillows when they arrived. Very sweet touch added. Thank you for letting us stay. We enjoyed our family time.
