Our Aqua Pelican offers the perfect blend of luxury and relaxation for a beach vacation at Destin West Beach & Bay Resort! With amenities like pools, hot tubs, a lazy river, and bay water access, there's plenty to enjoy without even leaving the resort. The beach access via the walkover bridge and boardwalk makes it convenient to enjoy the beautiful Emerald Coast. Plus, being within a 10-minute stroll to food, music, and fun adds to the convenience. A wonderful spot for a memorable vacation!

Sleeps 8 - no additional accommodations

Primary Bedroom boasts a King size luxurious bed with its cable TV. Corner wrap-around windows with views of the palm trees and balcony access. Huge ensuite bathroom with separate walk-in shower and jetted bathtub, and large walk-in closet make this feel like your home away from home.

Your guest will sleep in comfortably in this large guest bedroom with Queen-size top-of-the-line bedding and easy access to 2nd full bathroom. Cable TV, too.

The 3rd bedroom houses a brand new bunk bed with a full on bottom and twin on top, and drawer space on bottom for storage, and the kids even have their flat screen LCD television!

Professionally decorated throughout, we have tried to think of everything to make this the place you will want to come back to year after year.

Contactless Entry
A door code will be emailed within three days of planned arrival to the Aqua Pelican.

All guests 12 and up MUST wear a condo amenity band to access and enjoy the resort amenities. Staff will deny access to anyone without proper wristbands. This condo is equipped with 8 wristbands. All wristbands must be returned to the condo before departure. ANY MISSING WRISTBANK will result in a $30 replacement fee per band.

Confirmations and general property information are shared via email and/or text. Any property questions or points of clarification regarding the Aqua Pelican and Destin West Beach & Bay Resort can be directed to the owner/manager, Virginia. We have a local service team available to resolve unforeseen matters.

We STRONGLY RECOMMEND TRAVEL INSURANCE DURING HURRICANE SEASON BETWEEN JUNE AND SEPTEMBER.
Full refund less booking and transaction fees within 48 hours of booking. Firm booking refund policy of the same up to 30 days prior to stay. No refund after 30 days. Our stay was fantastic. Just my 15 year old son and myself trying to get in a few days of relaxation before he has to start school. This condo was fabulous. It was very clean and decor was very nice. Beds were very comfortable. And unit was close walk to lazy river and pool. We had no issues. There were beach towels to use. I did have question about towels and what to do with them at end of our stay and had a little trouble with obtaining door code to enter unit at beginning, but Virginia was fast in responding right away and was able to rectify both immediately. Virginia was very down to earth and helpful. The condo was roomy. On the balcony I seen that there were boogie boards, floating raft, beach toys for sand, nets, beach chairs. If you have little kids they are set for toys to use at the beach. When it gets to be 10pm everyone seems to abide by the "quiet time" policy. No issues there. It really was a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pelican 303! We’ve been coming to Destin for years, and this was hands down our best experience yet. From start to finish, our host Virginia was phenomenal—so kind, responsive, and incredibly communicative, which made everything stress-free and smooth for our family.The condo was spotless and stocked with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home—no last-minute trips to the store, no forgotten essentials. Everything was there waiting for us.The location was perfect with easy access to the beach and pool, and the on-site staff was warm and welcoming. They kept the entire property clean, safe, and family-friendly at all times.If you’re visiting Destin with family, look no further. This is the spot. Owner DoubleBooked and Cancelled

The owner contacted us the day before our stay and explained the unit had been double booked. We scrambled to schedule another property on short notice. She did timely cancel, explained that it shouldn’t have happened and provided a refund.

Property looked just like the pictures. Owner/Manager was extremely responsive to questions both before booking and during our stay. Kitchen was well equipped for what we needed. Lazy River and pool area were great. It was slightly inconvenient to go across the pedestrian bridge to the beach side but we knew that when booking and loved being so close to the pool.

Family vacation

The property was clean and well equipped with supplies, utensils, pots and pans and beach towels. There were 5 in our party and we all had plenty of room. It was really nice having our own lazy river and pool. The beach was only a short walk across the street via an over pass. Virginia was quick to respond to any inquiries we had. She also provided us with recommended eateries. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property. We all had a wonderful time, and look forward to returning.

Great Stay

What a great time we had at Destin West and the condo was amazing, everything you will need for a great stay with the condo being stocked with all you need. Great location and view of the lazy river was great too. We will definitely be back next year.

Relaxing gem in the middle of vacation chaos

This condo is located just a few miles from great restaurants, entertainment and beaches. The lazy river is a plus when you’re not wanting to leave property. The kitchen is well equipped to cook and eat in. The beds were quite comfortable and with blankets around, it was easy to nap on the couch watching our kids play outside.

Family Vacay

I loved my stay at the Pelican. It was great to be on the bay side with our little ones. We utilized the pools and lazy river every day. My daughters were able to "sneak out" while the little ones napped and have some down time. My Mom loved walking to the bay and hanging out in the lazy river. We ventured to the beach for a beach day and went across the bridge. The beach was wonderful! We only did this one day due to the ages of our children and the amount of beach items we had to carry. I can see how wonderful this will be the next time we come when the children are bigger! Our condo was wonderful! Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us!

Summer Vacation

Excellent for Kids. Nice walk to beach to get your steps in. Lots of place to eat and do things without driving. Condo had everything we needed. Palm trees are nice and shade lazy river but obstruct view of bay somewhat.

Beautiful unit, great location!

Close to the lazy river and a short walk to the beach. The unit was clean and looked just like the pictures online. We had one small issue with the washing machine, the owner responded immediately and it was resolved quickly.

Pool & Beach- the best of both worlds!

Great location! Easy walk to the beach, or stay and enjoy the gorgeous pool and lazy river. Condo was clean and well equipped. We appreciated having the beach towels in addition to the regular bath towels. The bunk room is perfect for kids or teens.

The condo was beautiful and was just like the pictures! We enjoyed the lazy river but i think everyone's favorite was the private fishing pier. We had a great time and will definitely be staying again!

This condo was everything from the great customer service from the owner to the beautiful decor! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Everything we needed was there! The Lazy River! OMG, the Lazy River was IT for me! We'll definitely stay again! Thanks for the awesome hospitality!

Married my best friend, Charlie, who shares that same desire. Our Aqua Pelican is large enough to share delightful days to the sights and sounds of the beach.

The Destin West Beach and Bay Resort offers so much without getting in the car. Location, location, location. Lazy river, beach access via walk over bridge. This also get you to the boardwalk. Where food, music, and fun can found within 15 minute walk. Amenities galore - 5 pools, hot tubs, zero entry pool, lazy river, bay water access, fishing pier, and a marina (ask about slip rentals). Next door a pontoon boat can be rented for a fun day at crab island.
The condo has ample sleeping for 8 people. No carpet. Air purifier, dehumidifier, we have made every effort to keep and maintain good air quality for our guests.
