A good time was had by all

This home worked out well for our family. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood getting you away from the traffic noises, but still close to Uptown tourist attractions. The home was clean and well stocked. All the bathroom lights made me look like a beautiful Disney princess and We had enough towels that I didn’t have to do laundry!! My husband doesn't usually please me with his choices for lodging, but this place was great.

Smokey Mountain stay

The home was in a residential golf community. Vacasa was the contact & did not respond with our concern. First floor bedrooms were humid & quite musty. The air conditioner did not work throughout & the humidity was high with no air conditioning & was uncomfortable.

Great Family Home

The house was well appointed for our family stay with 3 generations. The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen was large and well stocked, and the outdoor space was great to look at the beautiful views. The home has a dumb waiter in the garage to take items up two floors to the main level, which was a huge bonus. We would happily stay here again and recommend.

Home Away From Home

We had such a wonderful, relaxing getaway in this mountain oasis! The heart of the home is the living room with its huge picture windows that make you feel like you’re staying in a gorgeous treehouse. The oversized kitchen is well equipped, and all the furnishing are built for comfort. We spent many hours in the oversized lounge chairs, reading and watching the birds. The gas grill and deck were a plus, too. Great selection of puzzles and games. By the way, re: other reviews. We had no trouble with the driveway. Just take it slow. Also, the shades in the MBR have buttons and work fine! Highly recommend.

Lots of useful space. Gas fireplace. Big TV. King bed. Quiet location. Tough driveway...need to provide garage door opener. Loved the dumbwaiter. Shades in MBR would not go up.

Great House

This was a gray house for our family gathering. There is plenty of room for adults and kids to spread out. We could not the heat to come on. Vacasa was very quick to respond and had us warm in no time. The road is a little steep, but would only be a problem in winter weather. I would stay here again.

The links were apparent when our car was almost hit driving through. The driveway was difficult to enter and leave and the property was further from the lake than we wanted. The house itself was as described but could use redecorating

Restful among the trees

The large living/dining/deck area has one perched high in the trees. The bank of windows in this living space provides light and a treehouse feel. Clean and quiet with easy access to the adjacent golf course and lake.

Spacious house with lot of natural light.

This house is huge with lot of natural light and accommodate 8 guests easily and still have plenty of room. Only downside is kitchen utensils needs some updates. Otherwise, it is great place close to Lake Junaluska and right on the golf course.

Good place for friends but not for family with a newborn/toddler

The basement was a bit dusty. The house is mainly carpet too. It wasn’t as clean for a newborn/toddler. If I were to travel with just myself and some friends we wouldn’t have mind. The parking spot is really steep here so be prepared for some slipping while parking your car. Highly recommend bringing a 4x4.

Great hosts and a wonderful experience

The home was a perfect launching pad for our week-long vacation in the beautiful western NC mountains. The owners are amazingly accommodating, and the location is ideal. The house itself is well appointed, spacious, clean, and inviting. The only downside for some (not us) is that you do have to take stairs to get to the main floor. We definitely expect to come again and recommend it to others without reservation.

Wonderful home

Property was great for our weekend. Its a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place, with spectacular views. It is very close to restaurants and bars in the area. But you can’t hear the noise of the streets. The whole place made us feel at ease. Unfortunately the weather keep us in for most of our trip but the home provided plenty of games and playing cards that keep us busy and allowed us to catch up with hours of laughter.

Beautiful getaway

This is a beautiful place to spend some time away. The living room has beautiful large windows that overlook the golf course, and the comfiest recliners in which to enjoy the view! Just across the road is Lake Junaluska, offering even more stunning views. Great location, peaceful surroundings, amazing scenery. If you're looking for a restful retreat, look no further!

Golf view house

Such a lovely place, good location, hop & skip to stores & downtown Waynesville. 2 mins from the gorgeous Lake Junaluska where you can spend a grand 2 hours walking around the lake, taking in the gorgeous views! The home itsel, 4/3 is spacious and comfortable with a nice balcony, fun for drinks or drinks!

Beautiful mountain retreat

Very clean and spacious. Great amenities. Very steep driveway. Outdated decor from the 90’s. Twin beds are horrible. Extremely uncomfortable for anyone. Beautiful view and quiet. Great place to walk.
