We loved this location as a weekend getaway from our noisy, busy, electronic filled life! The stove kept our tent warm and we loved hearing the animals and nature in the morning. The barn cats also paid a visit and were cute and talkative. Would definitely come again!

My 5 year old daughter and I came here for a little end of summer staycation and we had an amazing time. The tent was lovely and it was so fun to “fancy camp” we loved waking up to chickens, kitties, and cows grazing for a fun day on the hammock, walking the property, and relaxing on the cozy chairs on the tent’s porch when it decided to pour rain. Communication with Josh was easy, he was so kind and answered all my questions. We will definitely be coming back for another stay on this magical farm

Great stay while passing through Colorado. Tent was spacious and outhouse/loo was very clean. The only thing missing was a shower, but a very comfortable glancing experience! Plenty of outdoor space for parking, hanging up hammocks and fire pit was nice! We will definitely come back and stay here again!

Glamping Heaven

What a wonderful place! Tent is super cute and clean. Very clear instructions on how to get to property and what all is expected of guests. Made a kitty friend named Arnold! Very relaxing. Would stay here again for sure!

We absolutely love this cozy little gem! Our second time back for our anniversary, and it did not disappoint.The hosts are friendly and accommodating, the tent is warm and cozy, and the bed is amazingly comfortable. The surrounding trees and nature is soothing to the soul. The addition of the hammock was a nice touch.Very close to all the modern amenities, hiking trails and sculpture parks, but tucked away just enough to decompress from city surroundings.We will absolutely be back!

Unique Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I spent the night at Josh & Molly’s homestead tent and it was the ultimate glamping experience. They truly have thought of everything! It was a unique way to spend an evening away from the chaotic day to day. Bed is comfy, tent and bathroon are super clean and cozy…we’ll definitely be back!

Nice place nice people

I rented the tent for my daughter and son in law for their anniversary and they loved it ! Something different from a hotel room and adventurous! The property owner is very accommodating and brought fresh eggs over for us to purchase as I had asked for . If you're looking for a nite away from it all go stay here

Absolutely Gem

We had an amazing time at this little hidden gem. The property itself is beautiful and the home owners are so kind. It felt very private and secluded. We even saw fireflies off the front porch. I didn’t even know we had fire flies in Colorado. It was magical. We Highly recommend!

Unique and Unforgettable Experience

We rented this quaint little getaway for our anniversary, and we were NOT disappointed!! The host was very nice, the tent was clean, with plenty of amenities and a comfortable bed, and the property was beautiful! Even in November, the woodstove kept the tent plenty warm, and sitting around the outdoor firepit on a chilly evening was nice. Overall a very good experience!

Adventurous stay!

Really enjoyed our stay in the tent and the property is charming and sweet. Had a harder time keeping the tent warm and not Smokey with the indoor fire place, so make sure to bring some warm clothes to bundle up! I also recommend a headlamp because the lighting is dim. Overall though its a cute and charming place.

We inspected the wood stove after your stay and found some unexpected blockage in the chimney and made some changes so that it doesn't happen again. Hopefully that's the case and we've had guests with good experiences since then. We hope you will consider staying with us another time for a better experience, and thanks again for the review!

Elk Camp

I enjoyed the privacy, and the peacefulness, the only thing that could of been better in my opinion is the Heat, maybe a little better stove. And I didn't see the breakfast menu, until I was getting ready to go. Should of tried the biscuits & gravy. Thanks for the stay!

Beautiful Setting & wonderful hosts

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tent. The surroundings were peaceful and we got to meet some of the chickens & kittens. The accommodations were clean, simple and super comfortable. The outhouse bathroom was quaint & clean, easy to use. It was like camping in comfort. We ordered a wonderful homemade breakfast from the hosts. Yum!! All home grown. We will visit again. Thank you to our wonderful hosts. Best wishes Lynelle & Caelyn.

Firm and dry even in a thunderstorm

We experienced the coolest thunderstorm fortunately right after arriving. The tent stood up to high winds and pounding rain. No fluttering tent like normal camping. We stayed warm and dry during the storm. The bed is comfortable. The floor is cleaner than my hardwood floors. Not sure how they do it:) Our area felt secluded. We would stay here again.

Great Winter Getaway

We were looking for a winter camping experience to replace our annual yurt getaway in the mountains. This tent was perfect for us! The overnight temperature during our stay was 15 degrees. Within 20 minutes the stove had the tent at a comfortable temperature. We came prepared for a winter experience and were glad we brought some supplementary lights and a down comforter. The extra comforter on the bed kept us very warm through the night and we did not need to tend the fire until morning. The bed was very comfortable, the couch was a nice place to read, and the dining table chairs were convenient to move closer to the stove when needed. A nice private getaway!
