Bring your own boat/jet ski or use our kayaks to explore Lake Tarpon, which is renowned for its largemouth bass fishing. Spend your nights snuggling up by the fire pit or relaxing in the hammock in your backyard oasis. Centrally located, the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, and the beaches of Honeymoon Island are all less than 15 minutes away. Tampa Intl Airport is 30 minutes away.

The floor plan was well laid out. The screened porch was nice to have morning coffee and watch the wildlife on the canal. The home was furnished with everything you would need and had a large selection of coffee choices. Kitchen was well furnished. Lots of yard games and fishing poles fully equipped for fishing in the canal.

Great Weekend Getaway!

Perfect house for a long weekend getaway for two couples! The house was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was very cute and well decorated to fit the Key West theme. The owners had thought of everything you could need. The well stocked coffee bar was a wonderful touch. The property and house were very well maintained and clean. Communication from the owners was great the whole time. We could not have asked for a better VRBO experience.

Wonderful

We enjoyed the best stocked Vrbo we ever stayed in. Our host had thought of everything we could ever need and had it stocked from fishing gear, beach chairs, bug spray, plastic baggies, a whole coffee bar, and so much more. We loved the adorable house and the fun dock. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Everything you need for comfort and cooking. Kayaking was fun. Beaches close by and shopping close by. Plenty of restaurants to visit.

Great place

Everything was just as described. House had everything we needed (towels, beach chairs, coffee bar, etc..) and was perfect for our long weekend. The canal location was peaceful and beautiful.

Spring Break Getaway

We had a wonderful vacation-this home was perfect for our family of 4. It is close to everything…on the lake for the fishermen in the group, close to beaches & other attractions for the explorers. Plenty of restaurants to choose from-we enjoyed taking the boat over to the Tarpon Turtle for a couple of meals. The property owner was awesome to deal with…she was very quick to respond to any questions I had before traveling as well as giving recommendations since it was our first time visiting the area. The home was comfortable and well stocked, just as described. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling to Lake Tarpon. We would also recommend Gulf Coast Expeditions…we went on a manatee snorkeling trip with them & had a blast!

nice stay

Well equip kitchen, beds sleep great, and bedrooms are nice. Very good communication. Only downside was my wife bumped her head on the metal pipe shelf next to kitchen table when getting up from table. Lots of extras in garage, fishing poles and tackle, kayaks and more. Look forward to renting again next year during the Valspar Golf Tourament.

Fantastic stay in Palm Harbour

Our family stayed here for 9 nights and it was an excellent location for all of the activities that we did around Florida. Centrally located to most things we wanted to do and only 30 mins from the airport. The house was exactly as described and had plenty of room for our family. The outdoor area with a fire pit and dock to sit on were well used. We all kayaked and even caught some bass right from the dock! The garage was full of extras that helped make our stay even better. Fishing gear, lawn chairs and more. The owners were very helpful and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend if you want a quiet and peaceful home to relax in while in the area.

Heaven sent Respite Canal Side

We found the home to be stylistically eclectic, fun, and so very comfortable, with nearly every need made available. There were tons of linens and towels, extra fleece throws for cuddling into on chilly evenings, even sun screen and insect repellent if you forgot yours!!!. The availability to use the fishing equipment and kayaks from dockside or while adventuring out on Tarpon Lake was wonderful. Early mornings and late afternoons we could see the fish jumping in the canal. Our children and granddaughter came to visit and really enjoyed these amenities. The kitchen is fairly well appointed, with many spices, basic oils, flour, sugar, plastic wrap, storage bags, and foils provided. Additionally, there was a good selection of bake-ware, colanders, lidded pots and pans, knives and an assortment of kitchen utensils. The few items missing, we purchased and gifted to the home as so much had been offered to us graciously. We cooked and baked many fresh fish dinners and meals in that kitchen comfortably. We highly recommend grouper and red snapper from the fresh caught seafood market in Tarpon Springs, only 12-15 minutes away. So Yummy... I accidently left some personally items behind and the hosts are kindly shipping them back to me! Wow!! Thank you, Ron and Lorrie!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Perhaps for a longer time as the region has so much to explore. It was a true gift to have such thoughtful consideration from our hosts.

Awesome Fishing getaway!

This was an ideal place to stay for a long weekend. They had all the basics which meant we could just slide right in and start enjoying! The place is exactly as shown in the pictures with a lot of really nice touches like coffee pods waiting for you bottled water in the fridge. I took the fishing kayak out twice a day for several hours. It is a beautiful lake and there are some really big bass in there! It is a quiet, safe little neighborhood very near tons of places to eat. They have several extra fishing rods and other equipment in the garage. Finally, I can’t say enough about the host. They were fantastic and responded to every question I had very quickly. I stay at a lot of VRBO properties and this is a really good value and completely hassle free!

It's a cozy home away from home

The owner prepared everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing was that the kitchen countertop was not super clean and there was some spill not cleaned in the fridge.

Home away from home !

We really loved our stay here! It had everything we meed butt didn't think we did ! Very clean , roomy , and comfortable ! We played family board games at night , ate out on the patio for dinner , cooked all meals there . We were able to cook comfortably in the kitchen all appliances are brand new! Plus a laundry room which was noce as well. We are booking in june again next year ! We spent lots of time as a family laughing in the living room and at dinner . We never used the t.v once

Nice home away from home

The house was perfect for my husband and I. We were in Florida for a graduation and the two bedrooms allowed our granddaughter to spend a couple of nights. Conveniently located to so many beaches, parks, restaurants, etc. The owners were great. Communication was easy, quick and clear. The kitchen was well stocked with spices. Plenty of fishing poles in the garage and the screened porch was like being at home for morning coffee. I highly recommend this location.

Great Weekend

We both grew up in New Jersey and one of our favorite things to do together is travel. We decided to buy a house in Palm Harbor because it's an area that we've been traveling to more frequently (Lorrie's mom moved down here 20 years ago). We got to know and love the area and knew this is where we want to ultimately be. Other things we love are skiing, hiking, eating, and golf (more Ron's game than Lorrie's). When we are in the Palm Harbor area, some of our favorite things to do are to watch sunsets on the Dunedin Causeway, go to the beach at Honeymoon Island, visit the area breweries, walk around downtown Tarpon Springs and the sponge docks, go to Phillies Spring Training games, go to the many festivals that Dunedin has, visit Tampa, and also just drive around and sightsee.

We tried to set our property up the way we like when we travel... it's a small property, but we hope that people find it as cozy and relaxing as we do. We like to hang out in the back yard and fish and relax. We also like exploring the lake by kayak.
