The Bakery Loft in Blairsville
The loft is located on the second and third floors of a historic building on the main street of quaint Blairsville. It’s just above Market Street Pastries, so you’ll enjoy the smell of fresh baked goods from the loft! On the second floor you’ll find an open-plan kitchen and living room with massive windows and a sofa bed. The sun-drenched second floor also has a a workspace and a bathroom. Enjoy panoramic views of the mountain range from the third floor in this serene, minimalist space.
The loft is conveniently located above a bakery and cafe. Blairsville is a very walkable small town, with several restaurants, a gallery, and other shops.
Blairsville Riverfront Trail is a wonderful place to walk or bike. There is also access to the Conemaugh River, a popular spot for kayaking and fishing within walking distance.
Blairsville is very walkable and the loft is located in the center of town.
Public Transportation Options
Blairsville is accessible by bus from Pittsburgh International Airport via Fullington Tours bus service.
The closest Amtrak train station is in Latrobe, a 20 minute Uber drive away.

Hi! My name is Sarah. I'm an artist-turned-social worker living in Brooklyn, New York and hosting guests at the Bakery Loft in my hometown of Blairsville, PA. I enjoy baking, nature, and traveling.
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
This is a very special historic building that my family and I have lovingly restored and given new life. Built in 1896, the building has been home to two confectioneries including the much-loved Brizzi's Candy and Nut Shop. My family purchased the property about 13 years ago and opened Market Street Pastries, a bakery featuring fine pastries, artisan breads, as well as soups, sandwiches, and salads all made from scratch. The loft space was formerly a dentist's office and then my family converted it into an art gallery. During the pandemic, my husband and I worked to transform the space into an apartment. We think you'll enjoy the special, relaxing feeling that this space holds.

The large windows are very special and provide a nice view of both the town and the mountain range. We find that this space has a particularly relaxing and revitalizing energy and we hope you'll think so too. The loft's location in the center of downtown Blairsville is also a plus, especially since the town is so walkable.
