Charming Modern Lakehouse with Private Beach & Stunning Sunsets

Nestled just outside of Grand Rapids, our updated lakehouse offers the perfect retreat on Big Pine Island all-sports lake, complete with a private beach just steps away from the deck. Thoughtfully decorated and meticulously furnished, the house is equipped with everything you need to ensure your stay is both luxurious and comfortable. Relax and let your worries melt away as you watch breathtaking sunsets from the deck!

We take cleanliness seriously and thoroughly sanitize the home for your peace of mind. The entire house is yours to enjoy, except for two small storage closets.

There are 1.5 bathrooms in the home for your convenience. (Including a bathtub for the littles!)

Fully Equipped Kitchen

The kitchen is designed for both casual snacks and gourmet meals, featuring a dishwasher, gas range, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee pot, waffle maker, and all the utensils and tools you could need. The open-concept living room has vaulted ceilings, two large sofas, and wall-to-wall windows that let in plenty of natural light. For those warm summer days, the brand-new air conditioner will keep you cool, though you may prefer cooling off in the lake instead!

Outdoor Living

Step outside and enjoy a west-facing deck with stunning sunset views over the lake. The deck is equipped with an outdoor grill, and there's a cozy fire pit right by the water — perfect for evening s'mores. With 50 feet of sandy beach, it's also an ideal spot for sandcastle contests, swimming, or lounging. Our all-sports lake offers endless opportunities for fun, including water skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Feel free to bring your own water toys and store them on our dock, accessible via the public boat launch.

For rainy days or cozy nights in, we offer complimentary Wi-Fi and YouTube TV, so you can enjoy 75+ live and on-demand channels, including sports and news.

Convenient Location

While our lakehouse feels like a secluded escape, you're only 25 miles from downtown Grand Rapids, MI, and a short drive to the charming towns of Rockford, Lowell, and Ada (just 15 miles away).

Our home sits on a hill with stunning views of the lake. A stairway leads to the front door, while another provides direct access to your private beach. If you'd prefer, there's a road that loops in front of the water, allowing easy drive-down access to the shore.

The home and the lake were great. The deck was a great place to eat and watch the sunset. In 30 years of renting lake cottages this was near the top.

The property had everything we needed and more. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning and evenings. The neighborhood is very quiet and the boat traffic was not excessive or bothersome during our stay. It was our best rental experience we’ve had.

Everything here was great, even the weather cooperated! The hosts were very responsive and helpful. So nice to have a private dock for our boat. The beach is great too. The house/kitchen was well equipped for everything that we needed. Awesome views of the lake from the deck. Highly recommend!

What a find!

Can’t say enough about our week. Hosts were responsive and went out of their way to answer questions we had. The cottage had everything we needed and more for our week’s stay. The beach and lake were perfect for both adults and kids…we spent most of day in water. Found the lake to be not busy and this was great as we are paddle boarders. Awesome all around and would go back.

Serene Hideaway in comfortable house

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet community. The house was very well laid out and was a comfortable stay for our family get together. We had kids and they loved every minute of the beachfront living with personal beach and deck for fishing. Kitchen was fully equipped for family meal cooking.. the sunsets were amazing from the deck. Would love to come back again!

Quiet Weekend Getaway

This house was wonderful! It was a perfect getaway for our 2 families with kids between 10 and 13. We spent a lot of time on the water paddle boarding and kayaking. The lake was quiet and not at all busy, even on a weekend. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and we enjoyed sunsets on the deck. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful home and view

We had a lovely vacation at this well appointed and updated home. Many steps down to water but you can drive. Fishing and water activities were fun. Would highly recommend.

Family 4th of July celebration

This house is amazing, we loved the different levels for privacy and sleeping. It was very clean and the kitchen and decor was lovely! We found everything we needed for cooking and the dishes were plentiful, which was very helpful. The steps going down to the lake were a lot but not as bad as I expected and we looked at it as our exercise! The kids loved the basketball hoop and beach area along with the adults and the fire pit! Highly recommend!

Beautiful home, beautiful lake

Gorgeous and comfortable home! Friendly neighbors. Only suggestions would be: 1) wish we had known that there were life preservers, noodles, floats, and a basketball in the cabinet by the road, and 2) wish we had had a description of the swimming area as relevant for folks who expect to jump/swim off the dock. That said, it was a great place, and we'd love to return next year!

Winter Wonderland

I realize this property is typically used in the summertime, but I needed a place to stay in the dead of winter for a couple of weeks while I began a new job. It was the perfect place to temporarily call home. The evenings were cozy and the views of the lake covered in snow were beautiful. The house had everything I needed for cooking and doing laundry. I arrived during a blizzard and sub zero temps, but Sarah had made sure the steps were shoveled and salted. She was quick to answer when I reached out. The house was neat and clean. Comfy beds. Incredibly quiet. I will definitely be back for a different experience when the weather breaks.

Amazing lake house!

My family stayed a week at this amazing lake house. It’s super clean, well designed and has a killer lake view. The host was super responsive and helpful whenever we had to ask a question. It’s in a great location only 35mins from Grand Rapids and short drives to other local destinations. I would highly recommend this lake house if you are looking for a great relaxing getaway!

Lakeside comfort

House was clean and modern with every comfort of home. Lake was clean and we felt we were the only ones on it. Neighbors were friendly. Great place to relax with friends and family. Recommend this property. Note, the only thing that was not perfect was the mucky base that was a surprise after walking into the water a few feet. But after boating out into the lake, everything was pristine.

Excellent Family Get A Way

What a great place to stay for a family get a way. This is a great location and had everything we needed for us adults and kids. The house is very clean and the view of the lake at sunset is gorgeous. Perfect spot to get out of town while still being close to several options for eating out and grabbing ice cream!
