All Decked Out | Pet Friendly, Short Walk to Beach

Take in the stunning beach views from any of the three decks at All Decked Out. This large three bedroom two bath home in Pirates' Beach Galveston is only a short walk to the water. Located at the corner of Ghost Crab and Grand Terre in Pirates' Beach, here at All Decked Out you'll enjoy breezes from different directions. Guests can sit out on the deck and catch the sea breezes, then walk to the beach (short, one block walk).

Guests will enter through the open concept living/dining/kitchen. The living area features a large sectional sofa and 55'' curved HDTV for exceptional viewing. This home also features cable television and wifi for the convenience of the guests. The kitchen at All Decked Out is completely outfitted for preparing everything from a small snack to a seafood feast after a day of fishing. Kitchen has full size refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, and nearly every conceivable kitchen item! Dishes, glassware and cooking utensils provided for the number of guests shown (10). Two large bedrooms are located on the main living floor. One of the two bedrooms features a king bed (sleeps 2), the other bedroom features a full over full bunk bed (sleeps 4), and has a 40'' flat screen for the children to enjoy. Go upstairs to a private primary suite with king bed and a twin over twin trundle bed (sleeps 4). The primary bedroom also features a 55'' flat screen and an en suite bath with shower, and access to the third deck. The second bath is on the main floor and has a tub/shower combination.
Pirates' Beach, located on the beachside of the island, East of Jamaica Beach and Galveston Island State Park, is one of the island's most popular neighborhoods, as families have been vacationing in Pirates Beach for generations! Pirates' beaches are some of the best kept on the island, and many guests appreciate that vehicles are not able to drive on the beaches here (guests are able to park at one of the many neighborhood cul-de-sacs to easily carry beach gear to the beach). Pirates’ Beach has its own small grocery mart, liquor store and even fresh seafood markets and bait shops. If you want to stock up on some essentials, Hummel’s General store is a one-stop shop for groceries, ice, fresh deli sandwiches and pizza, pretty much all the goodies you may need for a vacation weekend.

This home is pet-friendly. One pet is allowed. Weight limit of 40 pounds.

The home was set up great for the the few days we stayed there. It was pet friendly. The only issue we had was that the front door bolt and lock didn’t secure the front door.

This was perhaps our favorite place to stay in Galveston after numerous years of trips. The deck is lovely; the kitchen is modern, roomy, and well-provisioned; the living spaces are even larger and more comfortable than they appear in the photos; and the 3 bedrooms with different bed types provided several great options for teenagers, family, and friends. Having a little view of the Gulf was great (especially from the upper balcony), and being one block from the beach was very convenient. This was a fantastic house for a week get-away, and pet friendly. We'll be back!

Short walk to the beach & great views of fireworks!

My family and I had a great stay! The house was clean, spacious and well stocked. We loved how close to the beach the house was, and sitting on the front deck gave us great views! The side of the deck also gave us awesome views of the Pirates Beach fireworks show!

Was close to the beach although it was not very clean (lots of dead bugs on floor and tubs). The air conditioning struggled to remove moisture from the air so while it was cool it was muggy.

The location of the neighborhood and house was great! Ocean views from the house and a super short walk to the beach. The house had everything we needed including some games for the kids and beach accessories.

Great location but the house was dirty. Kitchen floor was filthy. Couch full of stains, bedding and carpets dirty and smelly. We only received 6 towels for 10 people so we were constantly washing, not what I wanted to do on vacation.

Thanksgiving get away

The location of this house is awesome. Being just a block from the beach, you can see the beach/Gulf from the decks. Kitchen was well stocked and furnishing were comfortable. Only thing we didn't like was that the only window coverings were in the master bedroom. The 2 downstairs bedrooms and the living/kitchen/dining area had no window coverings.

Pirate’s Cove Girlfriend Getaway

Galveston is so laid back! And this house fit our style perfectly- sleeping in, walls on the beach, shopping and eating! Just what the Dr ordered. House is roomy, bright and comfy. Only issues were a banging storm shutter at night in the wind that kept us awake one night, and the front door lock was completely inoperable with a key or without. We reported to Ryson but it was never fixed during our 4- night stay. Thankfully this neighborhood appears to be safe as nobody came in and stole anything lol.

Best Staycation

We have never vacationed near home, but had Galveston on our to do list for a while, so we decided on All Decked Out and was not disappointed! We stayed during the pandemic, but the house was clean, and the check in was very convenient. Simply picked up our key, no papers to fill out, and was on our way. The house is one block from the beach, easily accessible to restaurants and food/liquor stores, and even bought fresh Salmon across the street at Alex's Seafood. We wanted to buy fresh crab, but they only sell Fridays and Saturdays, so be sure to check them out on those days for fresh crab. We went to Watermans for a family dinner, and bought Pizza at the pizza joint next to Alex's. So convenient! We also had grocery delivery which I highly recommend. The house fit our whole family of 9 with plenty of seating around dinner table and couch to watch tv. The house is decorated with tons of charm that makes you feel like you're at the beach. I would highly recommend this house for your family vacation!

Review

The property had things wrong - front door wouldn’t lock/open & maintenance said he’d reported it before & the owners never fixed. It took 3 days and numerous calls to fix the cable. It took a lot of time away following up and promises were made to fix by certain times then no one would show up. The master bedroom shutters don’t work and curtains don’t cover the full window. Ryson said they’d fix or look into it and never addressed. The home is clean and in a good location.

Roaches, ants and spiders - needs pest control

The property is a great location, but the issues with the pest in the house was unacceptable. There were ants in the downstairs shower, spiders in the bedroom with the bunk beds. That would have perhaps been able to not right a review, but when large roaches came out in the kitchen the only night we cooked in it - truly disgusting. We opened a drawer on the peninsula island and one roach large one was within. We were able to capture and kill. A few minutes later another roach was crawling across the counter in front of the sink - that one we also killed. We opened the dishwasher where yet another large roach - this is where we all left the kitchen. It was like the invasion of the roaches. Most of family refused to walk into the kitchen again. The outdoor shower was also non-operational and with no awareness workers showed up to work on it. Still didn't work after they departed. I am only taking the time to write this in hope that the next guest they have taken the neccessary steps to fix the problem. I live about an hour from this property and know first hand that routine pest control is the simple way to never have these issues. I did call the management company the night of the roaches and the call was not returned or addresssed. I also submitted the issues directly to their site letting them know that I would also be writing a review.

Great location and house!

If you enjoy being close to the beach this house is ideal. It is a short walk (grab your wagon and gear) and enjoy the sand and sun. The beach was in great shape! This area is also private to Pirate's Beach which makes it even better. House has amazing porches that get alot of shade and breeze. Enjoyed it!

Beautiful property

Property is beautiful! Location from beach is ideal. Our only complaint was the false advertising of “wheelchair accessible”. My adult daughter is wheelchair bound due to a recent car wreck. We were thrilled to find this property being wheelchair accessible but that amenity was not working and made her access very difficult and limited her participation in activities.
