Four guests will enjoy this sizable one bedroom, one bath luxury condo at The San Luis Resort. The San Luis 1235-Luis' Lair is waiting for two couples or a small family who enjoy staying in a well-known property in Galveston. Guests may want to pour a lovely glass of wine and head out onto one of two balconies to take in the exquisite beach views and lower stress level of life at the beach.

Luis' Lair is a one bedroom one bath condominium with a full kitchen so guests may prepare meals and enjoy a relaxing vacation at The San Luis Resort. Luis' Lair primary bedroom has a king-size bed, large flat-screen television, ceiling fan and nearby full bath with tub/shower combination. The open concept living/dining/kitchen area features a queen-size sleeper sofa, a large flat-screen television, table and four chairs for dining, or more casual four bar stools at the island peninsula! This property is tastefully decorated with a coastal theme - guests will never want to leave Luis' Lair! The washer/dryer in this unit is NOT for guest use. Guests may use the building laundry which is located at the end of the public hallway on the same floor as this unit.

Great location! Perfect place to enjoy all the San Luis amenities, love the beach theme at the condo. The kitchen was well equiped. Love the assigned parking in the garage!

Good place to stay for event at San Luis

This was a nice place to stay for a weekend event at the San Luis. Conveniently connected to the hotel. Access to hotel amenities. Larger space. More affordable than hotel itself.

We arrived to a condo that had not been cleaned, that smelled horrendous! Housekeeping came very quickly, but even once it was cleaned it still had a terrible odor. The balcony cushions were ripped to pieces, ice maker that was broken made noises the entire time, tv box in bedroom was broken so no tv while laying in bed, and the smell is what I just couldn’t get over! Thank goodness, the San Luis is a fantastic resort so we were able to enjoy our time but dread going back to a smelling condo. In the future, I will book directly with San Luis!

Great Location

It was very nice to be able to use all the amenities of the hotel plus the parking garage during our stay. Views were amazing, place was clean, comfortable and very easy check in/out. Would recommend this place to anyone staying at the resort for more than one night!

Inconvenient Check In

I rated this stay poorly due to the inconvenience of having to go offsite to pick up and return the key fob. Instead of simply having them in the mailboxes below the comps on-site like every other rental I’ve stayed in here. It is that inconvenient to me as a guests with kids to have to go somewhere else on the island as I’m juggling children to pick up and then remember to return on the way home. Not happy about this and didn’t realize this was the case until I received one of the 50 emails they send out the rough the vacation rental company that has this rental. A lot od useless emails/texts that made me worry the whole time I wasn’t doing something right and I kept having to check what they were sending.

Anniversary Weekend for two

Very nice condo with wonderful views! Very clean. Check-in location was a little confusing since it wasn't onsite. Not a deal breaker as the management company was very nice to work with. We will definitely be back!! Thanks for sharing your lovely Galveston oasis!! :)

Great Home Away From Home

We enjoyed this location so much. We decided to change our work environment for a few days. It was a great place to work with an awesome view. We especially enjoyed the fact that we had access to all of the San Luis amenities. We would definitely return!

Great location

The condo could have been given a little love. The pictures were very dusty. One picture hanging in the bedroom had a broken frame. There were many lamps everywhere, yet the bulbs were burned out in at least 4. There was also 2 coffee makers on top of fridge, why, there was a working one on the counter. The patio furniture was more shabby than chic and very unmatched. The icemaker did not work so we had to keep filling the one tray that was provided. All of the furniture was mismatched and looked like it came from a garage sale. I did not feel like the condo was worthy of the nightly rate. The kitchen was complete with service for 4. One thing i noticed was there was not a junk drawer. Most places we have rented have one with misc. stuff like pen, paper, flashlight, scissors, tape and the like. I have to say the bed was very comfortable.

Relaxing Trip

Property is exactly what it says it is. Great views. Typical noise level for being on the sea wall when sitting on the patio - not too loud / not too late. Spent most of our time on the patio when actually at the condo — but unit itself was comfortable. Everything was clean upon arrival. Everything worked. Basic pull out sofa with standard mattress. Might need a blanket for pull out. Master bed a bit too high to get in so a footstool would be a nice addition - but bed itself was comfortable. One assigned parking space - convenient. Overall - the pictures tell the story and we would return. Ryson Real Estate did a great job making everything easy.

Nice property

The resort itself makes this condo a great choice. First the bad.....the master bed is awful, it’s very uncomfortable, pillows were insanely to big, we didn’t sleep well the whole trip. The master blanket had blood stains on it. The master sliding door has a draft so all night you listen to this loud whistling sound. We opened the door to kill the draft sound but then you listen the late night pool visitors and the road in front of the sea wall. Half the electrical in the master doesn’t work, including tv and cable box. The ac doesn’t cool the master bedroom so it’s pretty sticky at night. The assigned parking spot was occupied most of the trip so we had to find a different place to park. Not a big deal. The good......the San Luis resort is awesome and is the most attractive part of this condo. It’s a great property with lots to do, great food and heated pool. Proximity to the beach is amazing. Overall we will come back to the property, ONLY because of the San Luis resort. The condo is pretty average and not very comfortable. We stayed 6 days and were ready to go by the 4th day, only because we werent sleeping well.

Great weekend getaway

The condo is very clean and the resort is super nice. Check in was very simple and the resort pool was terrific. The unit is small so best for two people really. Kitchen was well appointed, be sure to bring your own oils/spices and possibly a bag of ice as the ice maker doesn’t work but they did provide two ice trays. We enjoyed the ocean views and really have nothing negative to report at all. Would definitely recommend!
