Catskills Cozy Cottage by The Lake, Sullivan County

Welcome to Bluestique by The Lake. This unique and tranquil cottage is your home away from home. Enjoy your stay with a hot beverage from our coffee/tea bar or some wine while overlooking Beaver Lake. Enjoy the local amenities such as hiking, snowboarding, snow tubing, and skiing at Holiday Mountain, visiting the best local restaurants, check out the Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark, and place your bets at the Resorts World Catskills Casino, all within a 10-20 minutes drive.
The space
Perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family. This bright and cozy home features an open layout living room, dining, and workspace. The windows throughout the home allow you to enjoy the lake and the surrounding nature. Access to the lake will allow you to take a stroll and take in mother nature and her beauty.

Around the house:

Main Bedroom: Queen size bedroom with 2 closets, large room with space to stretch out with a TV to enjoy.

Guest Bedroom: Bunk Bed: A twin-size bed over a full-size bed. Smaller room with one closet and many cubbies to store your items.

You’ll find lake views from every window (no need for curtains, but we do have some for those whom which to use them). We have a fully loaded kitchen for all of your cooking needs. Check out some of our cookbooks or just create your special dish (we do have Alexa and she can pull up a recipe if needed). Imagine the feasts and memories you will create! This home is meant for sharing with people you love.

For those that are working from home, we offer a dedicated workspace desk that has to charge USB ports along with WiFi access that oversees Beaver Lake.

Whether you want cozy nights in the winter, enjoying the lake in the summer, exploring the local farmers market, taking the long walks in the nearby trails, or enjoying fall foliage, you will fall in love with our home.
Guest access
You will need a car but all the amenities are just a few minutes away. If you need any special accommodations please do not hesitate to request them, as we will work with you to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

We invite up to 5 guests, please note upper bunk bed has a max limit of 150 pounds.

Tiny but homey!!

We came here during winter break just for a few days. The house is beautifully furnished, and fully stocked, down to the little details, to make our family right at home. There is a trading post right in town, which is convenient. The beds were comfy, including in the kids bedroom. We slept really well. The property manager checked up on us regularly to make sure we were fine. We would come back again.

So relaxing!

My time here was exceptional! The host, Jelissa, was extremely responsive. Everything you needed was at your fingertips and well thought out. The Welcome book is golden. It was like a treasure map to the house. The house also felt so warm and inviting. Loved the Christmas tree that was added to the living room/dining room. I would definitely return. The added bonus is that the food in the area was great, close and convenient. Thank you for a great stay. It was the getaway I needed.

Fall foliage watch

Upon arrival we felt the warmth of their hone and noticed the details inside and out that comforted us for a wonderful long weekend . We especially felt the bed and linens were very comfortable and so soft . We were very happy with our stay and having access to the lake we enjoyed a morning of kyacking. This location is also close by to nice hiking Unique park with beautiful waterfalls. OVER ALL A VERY GOOD POSITE VIBE .

Relaxing Lake Cottage Experience

This was one of the best experiences I have had! The host was very accommodating and the coffee station was awesome! I was able to relax and recharge. The lake view was awesome and even got to see some deers in the back yard! The bottle of wine and snacks was a pleasant surprise! I would highly recommend and I will be coming back!

Who could ask for anything more

Our group consisted of my daughter, her husband ,my 5 yr. old grandson and myself. My daughter and I had tickets to a concert at Bethel Woods.When I contacted Jelissa about how close it was the Bethel Woods she stated 15-20 minutes away. That was my determining factor. Beautiful home with anything you could possibly need . We will be back!

My family and I loved this place. My mother was very happy and thinking in go back again . Nice quiet place right by the lake , you can fish and swim there . Place very equipped for any need and the owner is very kind and attentive. Definitely we'll go back

Absolute Perfection

This cottage is adorable and absolutely worth every penny. Its located right by the lake in Rock Hill- the views from the house of the water are stunning and sitting in the living room or working by the desk, you can see the water all day long! Really so much better than the photos! I would def come back here. Jelissa has set the house up very well with all the utensils etc. for cooking and beautiful plates, serving bowls, drinking glasses etc. There are spices and creamers, ketchup, etc. in the fridge. The house also has a variety of super fancy coffee makers and coffee was provided. There is nothing negative I can say about this really beautiful cottage. The energy is wonderful - the walk around the lake is so relaxing. We were here in early spring so the outdoor amenities were not used except for the grill because it was still too cold- but we had a lovely peaceful relaxing stay here - we felt rejuvenated from the minute we entered - really we did not want to leave. We will def rent this again in the warmer months so we can enjoy and use the outside more.

Hello, My name is Jelissa. I was born and raised in Queens New York. In 2018 I took a family trip to the Catskills and fell in love with the area's peace, lakes, and nature. Since growing up and living in the City we lacked peace, nature, and quiet time. Bluestique By The Lake has given me some great peace and I consider it my getaway home. I decided to share this home so you can experience getting away from the everyday hustle and just relaxing with nature.

Bluestique by The Lake is the home away from home you are looking for. You will be able to relax, enjoy the lake (with access to the lake), take hiking trips, and even just enjoy local attractions. When I first came across this home I knew that it would bring joy to many. I envision this home with lots of blue accent details. The color blue is associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration, and sensitivity. I also wanted the home to be different and offer an exclusive experience. So we named the Cottage Bluestique by the lake. Blue for the color we used and tique= a boutique home.
