Lake Arrowhead in southern Maine is an 1100 acre lake which is well known for its great fishing. Kayaking, boating, and swimming are also fantastic in the crystal clear shallow warm water. Lake Arrowhead is less than 2 hours from boston. Our year round home has over 250 ft of direct lake frontage! nice flat lot with easy access to the swimming area. You will love the privacy. We are on a penninsula with virtually no traffic. The house confortably sleeps 8 with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. we have 2 kayaks and rowboat for your use.
The Lake Arrowhead association also includes 2 clubhouses with small gyms and indoor and outdoor pools for your use. we are also offering winter rentals. great for ice fishing, snowmobiling ,atv"s right from the property or just getting away. fantastic area for september fun and october foliage!!!
House is 50 min to Shawnee peak in Bridgton for skiing. 1 hour to North
Conway NH. 50 min to Portland for great breweries and dining. and 40 min to Old Orchard Beach.

The home was clean and the property was beautiful. The private beach and yard had plenty many sitting areas and they had many different tie outs for our dog. They added nice little touches to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with and checked on us while we were there to make sure we didn't need anything. We will definitely be going back!

Quiet Cabin on the Lake

Had a great time! The house and lake were family friendly. We enjoyed exploring the lake on the kayaks and hanging out by the waters edge.

Lovely family trip

We had a great time despite less than stellar weather. The house was comfy and cozy as we watched the rain! We also took advantage of the club house indoor pool! There was good fishing - my 7 year old caught the first fish of the trip!

Awesome Cabin

The owners were attentive and checked to see if everything was going well. They responded right away if you had questions. The property was beautiful and having the kayaks was a bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

Lake Front Location

Location is quiet and restful, steps from the lake. The house offers inside and outside gathering and dining locations for a small group. The first floor interior is dark, waterfront deck is bright and sunny. Without a dock swim ladder access to the water is on foot; we recommend water shoes.

Great Trip

We rented the house in Waterboro, ME to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. The house was great, cozy, and had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving. The kids loved making a fire and having smores, while us adults enjoyed watching a new generation of cousins make memories. Great house and fully stocked with everything you need!

Great accommodations!

We had a great time despite some not so great weather. Our dog was in heaven! The house was in a perfect spot on the lake…very quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and we had everything that we needed and the owner reached out when we arrived to make sure our check in went well. We were also surprised when we arrived to find a welcome basket with wonderful treats left for us!!

Five stars!

Everything was perfect. The listing for the property was everything we were looking for, and it did not disappoint at all. It was clean, well-stocked, and a lot of nice little touches with everything we needed. Definitely roomy enough for our family of 5 and 2 dogs. The owner checked in throughout the week to make sure we had everything we needed. Loved the pool and game room at the clubhouse. Would absolutely stay there again and definitely would recommend!

Wonderful Setting

The property is located in a wonderful setting On the Lake Arrowhead in Maine and has the advantage of having an association which has an indoor pool and game room. My grandchildren so enjoyed everything. Mike was great at communication and was easy to talk to and available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Blissful peaceful lakefront getaway

Owners are very pleasant and make sure all your needs are met. The property was right on the lake and had plenty of land for the dog to explore and for us to feel we were secluded. It was so serene and peaceful. Very beautiful this time of year. Really picture perfect. The home had more room than I expected and really was so quaint. I would definitely go back next year.

Well equipped

Very well equipped house. Many amenities ie: many kayaks, toiletries, kitchen items and a gift basket! Yard was well kept and leads for dogs. Neighbors are nicely spread out. We had a nice week.

Beautiful house! The yard was perfect for hanging out, lots of wood for the fire pit, and easy access to the lake. My dog had so much fun running in and out of lake, and we took advantage of using the kayaks, row boat, and paddle board. We saw so much wildlife at this house too- loons, deer, pheasants, bald eagles, and fish!!! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils for all our needs. The bedrooms were nice and roomy, and the bathrooms were clean and well stocked with towels. Our host, Mike, was easy to get in touch with for any questions. We had a wonderful long weekend at this house and can’t wait to go back.

Great vacation on the lake

We loved this beautiful lakefront property. The house was roomy and stocked with everything we needed, and our golden retriever found it to be very dog-friendly! The lake is private and peaceful and we enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board, and rowboats. We found some great restaurants and breweries close by, including Funky Bow brewing, Bay Haven Lobster, Town Hill Grill, and Krista’s. We also drove over to Windham to Bob’s Seafood and the Allagash and Definitive breweries, which made for a nice day trip. The owner was always available and attentive, good experience all around and we would definitely rent again!

First time rental ever!

We ventured into our first vacation rental this year and so happy we did! This property was beautiful and quiet. The owners thought of everything. It was raining the day we arrived and we were met with a warm gas fire burning, which was much appreciated. A welcome basket filled with smores ingredients also awaited us. The bathroom was stocked with essentials you may have forgotten and plenty of towels. The bedrooms were comfy and cozy. My kids and grandkids enjoyed the water and kayaks, and my son- in- law even caught a fish! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Relaxing

We came to this area of Maine so my wife could expand her genealogy research. She had already touched base with the Limington Librarian and on this trip got to meet her and some others including some cousins. I think most people associate this part of Maine (especially in June) with blackflies and mosquitos. Well not a single one was to be found thanks to the cold and wet weather which did hinder any of our activities. There are a lot of charming towns, I think Cornish was our favorite. Fishing wasn't the greatest, one should have a boat, although my grandson came for the day and he had good luck fishing off the dock-he caught pickerel, blue gills and even a bullhead. We definitely consider staying here again!!

Older sibling reunion

We are a family of five siblings that have not had a vacation together since we were kids. One brother lives in Maine near this location so it was an ideal spot for us to spend a few days. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings and the lake was perfect…right from the backyard! Enjoyed swimming and kayaking. Mike (the host) welcomes dogs so my sister was able to bring hers and they had a lot of fun! The house was fully prepared for guests. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed and we were able to grill out a couple times.There is a large grocery within minutes to stock up. Had comfortable bedrooms that allowed for privacy and two bathrooms which is always convenient. This property exceeded our expectations.Very comfortable and welcoming and allowed us to create new memories! Would definitely rent again.
