In the beautiful 3-bedroom two-story home, the first floor is a colorful, open living-dining area and kitchen. The second-floor features three bedrooms, including a primary bedroom, king, with a private bath and its own balcony/deck. We loved this house. It’s in the perfect location, just across the road from Rosemary Beach, but in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely book again!

Perfect stay

This house looks even better than the pictures online. The property managers were very accessible, neighborhood is so clean and quiet, beach access is close and never had a problem finding parking. Beach was amazing. I would definitely recommend.

Lovely!

Great, cozy house. So close to everything we wanted & a fraction of the price compared to staying right in Rosemary. Very well kept, great communication, quiet neighborhood. It was so nice to have bikes as well as beach chairs!

Family beach vacation

We enjoyed the house very much. It had everything you may need in a home, equipped with utensil and cooking appliances. The bikes were a nice gesture and we enjoyed riding in the evenings. Thank you for having us!

Wonderful hideaway

Working with the property managers, Oversee, was so easy. Consistent and personal communication throughout made check in and out easy. The house was beautiful, clean, and very well supplied with dishes and necessities. We would love to rent this house again.

Beautiful home. better in person. there are four beach chairs, boogie boards, surf board, basketball goal, etc. those aren’t in the listing so maybe we got lucky. will try to rebook next year

Overall a good experience . pros: Comfy beds, Great location, bikes, beach chairs/toys, and basketball hoop and basic necessities( dish soap, paper towels, tp and toiletries) kitchen has lots of dishes Cons: no nonstick pan, no spices (salt, pepper, garlic), tin foil, or oil. One roll of toliet paper for each bathroom for the week

Spacious and Calm

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at After Dune Delight. The house was large and spacious. It was well stocked with everything we needed for a beach vacation including bikes and beach toys. The neighborhood is small and set back from a lot of the hustle and bustle of the main part of Rosemary. Beach access was fairly easy. There is a small access at Winston Ln. but there is no where to park cars or golf carts so we opted for Inlet Beach which has parking and bathrooms. The beaches are pristine with clear warm water and sugary white sand. The one and only drawback is the fact that this property is located across Highway 98 from the main part of Rosemary. Its a very busy highway with lots of construction at the intersection of 98 and 30A. It is something to be aware of when renting. The upside to that is that it is a little quieter and more secluded which was very nice. There is also a development of restaurants directly adjacent to the neighborhood with great coffee and breakfast and dinners. Don't sleep on Goatfeathers or Destin Ice Market for fresh seafood. Overall, our experience was great.

Reviewer Comments: We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful home located in a quiet area within a short walk to the beach and the unique beach towns along the 30A. The home was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking and baking, food storage containers etc. The bedrooms are large with very comfortable King sized beds in 2 bedrooms with large closets and plenty of clothes hangers. The beach chairs and beach umbrellas were very much appreciated. The 4 bikes were a fun addition. The Oversee management group provided exceptional service when we contacted them on 2 occasions. On our arrival the door code did not work. After phoning the Oversee office Kirsten responded Immediately with a new code. Another phone call asking for assistance in how to access the Masters Golf tournament on the tv network provider was responded to by sending a employee to the home to show my husband where to find the channel. Great service means a lot in providing a enjoyable vacation. We highly recommend Oversee for booking a rental and hope to be back in the future.

House is excellent, exactly as in the pictures & as described.

Let's start with the house. It's exactly as described, no surprises. It's perfect and has everything you need, we had 8 people comfortably. Even the sofa sleeper was very comfortable. Very spacious, well-equipped kitchen (agree with other comments that some non-stick cookware would be helpful), gas grill was easy to use, backyard was very nice and well lit, 4 bikes and beach furniture were great. The location was great. In a small, quiet community, no noise, no traffic. We loved the house and would definitely stay there again. The small plaza right next door was super nice and had a few good restaurants and some shopping, beautiful square with outdoor entertainment nightly. Within walking distance. The "Destin Ice Market" was just beyond the plaza, and should not be missed. The name is deceiving, this upscale little grocery has everything you could possibly want, including liquor store, wine, beer, fresh seafood, meats, cheeses, baked goods, etc. Beautiful place and very well stocked. Wish I would have found it sooner in our trip. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice and was never busy. As others have mentioned, you do need to cross rt. 98, which is a very busy road, to get to the beach and to the "30A strip", Rosemary Beach, etc. Was not an issue for us, but could be for those with children. I'd recommend riding the bikes to the beach because parking is not available at some access points and limited at others. Easy bike ride but it would be a bit of a long walk, but manageable if not carrying a lot and don't mind the walk. Now for Rosemary Beach. We were there spring break week, so maybe this is not typical, but the place was absolutely overrun with teenagers. Throngs of 20-30 teens roaming the sidewalks while blaring music and racing their bikes & cars everywhere. I'm surprised there aren't more accidents. Young kids, junior high or high school aged. I've never seen anything quite like it. Most were rude and made walking or riding bikes there very difficult. We rented some additional bikes and had one stolen on our very first night (it was later found in the weeds at a Rosemary Beach hotel by their maintenance staff). This is apparently a well known problem there, as there are signs all over indicating an 8:00PM curfew for those under 18, but it was simply unenforceable as the cops were outnumbered 100 to 1. Lock up your bikes! I would avoid Rosemary at spring break unless you need a trip back to jr. high.

Excellent home, love the location!

We loved staying here for our summer beach vacation! The house has plenty of space for sleeping arrangements for 2 families with 5 total kids. The back yard had an awesome set up with turf that the kids loved to play on, and the grill was also very useful for cooking when we wanted to. Only downside I could think of was the large number of fruit flies, but I think that was more a product of the season and the area. Would be awesome if you can add some fly traps to the home. Would definitely stay again! Thanks for hosting us!

Beautiful home

Beautiful and quiet nestled in the corner. Recently renovated with Google smart features such as the a/c unit . Just say, " Hey Google, raise the thermostat or lower the thermostat, Had to call militance to get access to the home as the keypad did not work. They did come right away though and helped us access the unit. Getting in touch with mgt was sometimes slow. No code to the pool in the app so you need to ask for it or hopefully it is there by now. We would definitely stay again.

Reviewer Comments: We were shocked to see how close it was to the beach and to Rosemary...plus we were literally a 2 minute walk from 30A shopping complex with Live music, restaurants and the cutest boutiques. It was clean, spacious and had a lot of goodies that came with it (fully stocked kitchen -pots, pans, blender, etc; bikes, beach chairs and towels). Totally recommend... it’s in the mix of prime vacation spot but out of the chaos. ... also, I had to work a few days while there and they have a cute workspace.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can't say enough good things about this rental home as it was exactly what we wanted for our family's beach vacation. The home was very clean, spacious and perfectly situated in the 30A area to our needs. By this I mean it was within a very easy walk (or ride with the bikes provided!) to the beach but yet in its own quiet and private neighborhood away from the busy tourist area. That was so key for us as we wanted to wind down at the end of the day with a bit of peace and quiet. And even closer was the neighboring shops and restaurants to get a good meal, drink, ice cream treat or do a little shopping. Everything that we needed was accommodated within the home, which made this a much easier trip for us. This included a fully stocked kitchen as well as many beach essentials that were provided including beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. The bedrooms had plenty of room with comfy beds, lovely decor and everything needed to be at ease. It was plenty of room for us and more, I'm certain it could accommodate at least a couple of families comfortably. Also, the fenced in backyard area was very cozy and relaxing with a good seating area where we could use the provided gas grill (essential!) to cook a good meal and enjoy ourselves under the string lit ambiance. Perfect for those evenings when you tire of eating out and want to just stay in. I couldn't recommend this rental home enough...perfect getaway haven in a perfect location!
