Beautiful Lakefront Home - The Great Escape

This amazing lakefront, family friendly home has a large living room and kitchen/ dining area that opens directly to the back yard, covered gazebo and a private dock. The kitchen is fully equipped with basic small appliances and includes plenty of storage and pantry space. Upstairs is a huge game room with a ping pong table, billiards & tons of board games & puzzles! The main home has 3 bedrooms & 3 full baths. The detached garage (aka the cottage) has a bunkroom, 1 queen bedroom & 1 full bath.

Very nice property. House and bunk house had plenty of room. Bunk house was good for young adults. Lake was beautiful and clean. We had a very relaxing stay.

Excellent Grown Ups Retreat

The property is part luxery hotel and part home. Special amenities that felt like perks were available. The kitchen had everything we needed so we were able to arrive, stay, and relax! Lake Escape provided exactly what we needed for our annual retreat!

Wedding Weekend

My family and I stayed in this lovely home on Lake Martin for a long wedding weekend on the lake. The home is beautifully decorated, all the comforts of home and was very CLEAN! The owners are very prompt to message back with questions. We will definitely book again in the further! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Complete Package For Vacay!

This place has it all! I booked this property for a group of friends and we had a blast! The large kitchen has everything you need to cook any meal. We never ate out! The large gas grill was great and it has two small ovens to cook multiple things at different temps. The dock was great for securing the boat and floating in the water with friends. There was also a jet ski dock. We lounged outside often with multiple outdoor seating areas. We wish it had been a little cooler at night to take advantage of the firepit. There were many different sleeping options for privacy and convenience. The decor is pretty and the house included nice extras like multiple coffee and snack stations, reading lights on the bunk beds, quality soaps and shampoos, and a large tub of beach towels in case we didn't bring enough. We plan to make this an annual trip and stay here again next year.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful Family trip! The host was great at responding to messages and answering any questions we had. We had plenty of room for our family of 11 and the kids loved the playroom space. We did bring our boat and had a storage place for our trailer which was a plus. Great location on the Lake as well as by car. We will definitely be staying here again!

Good times on Lake Martin!

What you want out of the weather in June while at Lake Martin. Hot and dry. The water was gorgeous and refreshing. Had our two older grandsons so we tubed, skied, Chimney Rock'd and Goat Island'd. The vacation home was all we could ask for. Plenty of space inside and outside. Everyone had a great time!

Amazing!

I wish we were still there! All you need is to pack your swimsuit and sunscreen, everything else has been taken care of! The house is perfectly appointed with everything you would need for a lake vacation.

Amazing home and hostess

We had a wonderful stay. The house was amazing, very clean and comfortable. Stephanie went above and beyond as a hostess. Due to storms the day before our stay, the power was out when we arrived. Stephanie searched and found us another property. We chose to stay despite the power outage. We cooked on the grill, slept with the doors and windows open and were very comfortable. Power was restored the next day. Stephanie was amazing through the entire process and comped us generously, even though this was obviously not her fault. I highly recommend this property and the gracious hostess, Stephanie.

A Great Place to Stay

Myself and 13 others from my golf group stayed at the lake house. The owner was in constant contact and very responsive to our questions. The house was large and inviting. It included all the normal amenities. It was centrally located between Auburn and Montgomery and of course Lake Martin is readily available. Great golf located in easy drives to RTJ Golf Trail. Thanks to the owner for providing a great place for others to enjoy.

Pure Perfection

This is the absolute coziest place for a larger group to spend quality time together and feel connected. Everything we needed was provided and easily accessible. Communication prior to arrival was exceptional. If you’re looking for a place to feel at home with all amenities of a resort setting, this is it!

Great lake house1

Our first visit to Lake Martin was last Labor Day weekend. We loved it so much that we decided to repeat, add my sister to the immediate fam mix and upgrade. This house did not disappoint! Great game room, and lots of space for all to sleep and hang out inside and out. We rented the optional pontoon boat, which was convenient and so fun! (of course it added to clean up chores, but we got it done!) Stephanie answered questions promptly. Overall, terrific family getaway!

Loved it!!!

We had a great time. The house was great. We had 14 (mostly teenagers and up) and it didn't feel crowded. Communication was excellent. Received a reply within 30 minutes every time i had a question. There are places on the lake ive rented boats from in the past. I almost went that route again this time but soooooo glad I decided to rent from the property owners. Mainly because of the opportunity to do water sports for the kids... even the teens. Its a tritoon boat but 200hp motor... plenty of pulling power. We had friends from Germany visiting with us. Their two kids couldn't tube, knee board or ski enough. Especially since it's typically too cold in north Germany for water sports. It was an awesome time. Chris and Stephanie were awesome hosts. Loved it!!!

Family trip

Excellent property. Nice neighbors. Very well stocked kitchen. Stove top freaky fast. Docks nice. Exterior property clean and well kept. A/C’s work well. Plenty of games - enjoyed pool table and ping pong. Some issues with septic system repaired/replaced after our trip. Great location for quick trips to “town” and public boat(Kowaliga) launch clean and close.

Family Friendly

We had 8 adults and 8 children (13 to 1 ½) and everyone was very pleased with the place. The main living area is the bottom floor which worked out great! The playroom was a big hit with the kids. We docked our bass boat and used their jet ski parking to dock our canoe. Kids really enjoyed the paddle board! Many items were provided that we didn’t anticipate- tons of beach towels, toilet tissue, paper towels, trash bags, etc. And all kinds of kitchen supplies! Owners were very accessible by text or phone call every time we needed anything or had a question. Had room to park 4 cars and a truck with boat trailer. I highly recommend you check it out.!

Family Vacation

Property was exactly as pictured. Lots of amenities for the boat and the game room was perfect for teenagers. Highly recommend renting the boat. Very nice and comfortable for everyone. Stephanie was amazing answering all of our questions. Would definitely rent again.
