Rustic Red Cliff Log Lodge in the Animas Valley. 5 min N of Durango, 15 min to Purgatory, .5 miles to PJs Gourmet Market and .5 miles to the Durango Hot Springs. 4BR, 4Bth, game room, basketball court, lots of parking for RVs, trailers and vehicles. The house includes a full kitchen, smart TVs, WiFi and washer and dryer. The garage you see in the picture is the finished game room with ping pong, bumper pool and a deck with chairs. We picked this house because it was the perfect distance between downtown Durango and Purgatory Ski resort. It had everything we needed for a basecamp. Would definitely stay here again.

Great communication and lovely home with great views of the train as it passed by in the mornings and afternoons. Great location close to town and amenities. Very close proximity to the hot springs. Plenty of space to accommodate our group of 8: 5 adults and 3 children. We came up to ride the Polar Express and made beautiful memories as a family. Only wish the house had been prepared for us to feel a warm welcome. The heat was off and it was a very cold 55 degrees inside upon arrival.

Great location, close to town. Host was very accommodating. Laundry & kitchen were great for our family. Wouldn’t recommend for older guests, the stairs are very steep and uneven. It made it hard for our grandparents to enter & exit the home.

This house is not Joanna Gaines trendy, if that’s what you’re looking for… it’s full of real-life used items, cozy like your grandma’s house. There was a nice separation of private spaces, with several public places-the game room was an absolute got with the grandkids. I will caution that there are MANY steps to navigate and most are without hand support. This was a bit challenging for our family, as we had 3 generations using the house. I am absolutely certain that our stay will be fondly remembered by all for years!!

Loved the cabin and the area. The location was nice as we traveled north to sightsee but were only 5 minutes to Durango. I will definitely stay here again!

The location is perfect for going into Durango and also accessing the trails for hiking, and other mountain activities. Excursions to Ouray, Silverton and even Telluride can be accomplished in a day.The house had everything we needed and very clean. It is an older home that's not perfect but extremely comfortable. No A/C but cools off in the evening and fans are available.Definitely would stay again. And Taylor was a great host and responded to all questions immediately.

Great spot!

Perfect location for our family to stay and enjoy summer in Durango for a few days. Nicely situated close to town and also close to James Ranch and Purgatory. Plenty of room for the 4 of us.
