Nassau Bay Palms

Experience Nassau Bay with indoor/outdoor living and water views. We are within 1000ft of Clear Lake’s spectacular sunrises. We are opening up our personal home, you will truly have everything you need in a fully functional private home, perfect for family gatherings. This 4 bedroom home features 3 King beds and 1 queen bed for your comfort. The large open living space has a (new) full size pool table, fireplace, full dining room and stocked with plenty of games.

Our large corner lot has an EXTRA LARGE pool, hot tub w/wrap around seating, fire pit, gas grill, outdoor dining and palms over look the pool. Perfect for a family barbecue. You can see Clear Lake from the Eastern side of our house and even the tips of NASA’s rockets from the drive way.

Nassau Bay has tons of amenities: Clear Lake, Lake Nassau, 76 Acre Nassau Bay Peninsula Wild Life Park (Bird Trail), Basket Ball Pavilion, Tennis Courts, Pickle Ball Court and a beautiful Clear Lake board walk (less than 1000 feet from our door)

Across the street from our home is Howard Park with large open areas great for football & frisbee games, 2 gazebos and a fabulous playground.

We are Walking Distance to NASA/Space Center Houston (.8 mile). Many of NASA’s Astronauts have lived in Nassau Bay, as featured in Apollo 13. Houston Methodist Hospital is 1000 ft from our door and many restaurants equally short distances.

Nassau Bay is 7 miles from Kemah Boardwalk restaurants and entertainment. 12 miles from fabulous shopping at The Tanger Outlets and 7 miles Baybrook Mall. 6 miles from Armand Bayou Wild Life Preserve and 2 miles from Clear Lake Park (Public Boat Ramp & Park)

If you are flying in, Nassau Bay/Clear Lake is much closer to Hobby Airport than Bush Intercontinental Airport.

With so much that our home offers and the surrounding area, this is the perfect home for your family.

If you’re looking for a dog friendly, 4 bedroom house in NASA area this is your house. Very clean, quiet neighborhood and so many features for entertainment from pool and ping pong tables to swimming pool and hot tub. Plus it’s located across from a lovely park on the bay. Owners were very communicative and check in/out was a breeze. Highly recommended!!!

Family vacation

The house was just as described and was very clean. Everything you could need is provided and was perfect for our family getaway. Mary was an excellent host and very responsive to all of our needs. Would definitely recommend this house for any vacation or weekend getaway.

Family Christmas

We needed a place to gather for a family Christmas and this house was the perfect getaway. The owners are extremely flexible and gracious and we appreciated their hospitality so much. We had 3 couples and everyone was comfortable with their own space. Great neighborhood!

Amazingly comfortable vacation - home away from home

We stayed at this lovely home for six days and it met and surpassed all of our expectations. Beautiful outdoor area with a pool and a hot tub, comfortable bedrooms and great beds, wonderful living room and fully stocked kitchen and pantry. The home is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. The host is the nicest, we felt true hospitality staying with her! Thank you!!!!

Mary is a wonderful host. Our family was in Houston for medical appountmebt at MD Anderson. We desired peace and relaxation. This home was perfect for our needs, and we enjoyed the park across the street and walking along the water. Driving 30 minutes to appointments on the day we had appointment was less of a concern to us than being in such a busy area of the city our whole stay. We greatly appreciate the way Mary cared for us during our stay. I highly recommend her property.

NASA camp vacation!

What started out as needing a home for my family of 6, while the 10-year-old was attending space camp, turned out to be the most relaxing and peaceful week-long vacation we have had! This home was perfect... From the location, amenities, cleanliness, and extremely comfortable mattresses, to the most attentive and kind homeowner. Mary made our stay so trouble-free that we were able to just relax and enjoy our family, the area, and her home. Would definitely stay here again.

Like Home But Better

This is our second summer staying at the Nassau Bay house. We stay for a week while our grandsons go to sailing camp. We all love the house. It’s large and very clean. The kitchen is very well stocked with tons of plates, glasses, utensils and condiments. The laundry room gets a good workout and is !The pool is huge and outside area is wonderful. The great addition this year is the garage conversion into a game room. Our boys called it their “man cave”. All in all it’s a wonderful place to stay if you are taking in NASA or exploring Bay Area.

Family Visit

We stayed for a few nights while visiting my brother. The location was close to the Boardwalk and Space Center. The property was clean and the rooms spacious. The hosts were very kind, and they left a basket of pool toys for the kids, and they sent a box of delicious cookies. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed to cook there. The pool was clean as was the hot tub. As mentioned in the listing, the house is not child-proofed, but we were able to move a few things so the kids didn’t break anything. We would stay here again!

Everything to the moon & back

NASA is just minutes away and everything you need to enjoy a stay with the family is available this house. There is even a meticulously and thoughtful binder with information to explore your surroundings. If you have children, we did confirm that the church playground across the street is open to the public. The house was clean, well furnished and of course, super kid friendly. The host is extraordinarily communicative and goes over and beyond to assure your stay is a great experience.

Fabulous Spacious House

Everything in this home was very comfortable, accommodating and clean. We had such a relaxing time in the swimming pool and hot tub and the outdoor shower and grill was a plus. Nice kitchen with all appliances needed. Nice furniture and TV in every room, two outside as well. We walked out side to watch the local parade and across the street later to the park and watched the 4th of July fireworks display. I could keep on but this is that place.

All You Can Imagine

Staying at Nassau Bay Palms was really more than we imagined. The lovely home is located in a peaceful neighborhood that was originally home to many of the NASA astronauts. The owners even have a map for you to follow to see where they lived. The house is very large and open with TV’s everywhere, a pool table, 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 baths, a well stocked kitchen and a backyard that is wonderful. The pool is huge with lots of lounge seating and pool toys galore. The jacuzzi was a highlight. 2 outside TV’s were a real bonus. The playground across the street was lots of fun for our young ones. The bay is about 1 block away and there are kayaks at the house. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do. Right across from NASA, minutes to the Kemah Boardwalk and restaurants everywhere. This was the perfect place to unwind with family and all ages loved it.

Just perfect!

The house is fabulous! We have stayed at many rentals over the years, and this was one of the absolute best. Very well stocked with toiletries, kitchen supplies, and sporting equipment. Has so many small touches that really make it feel like home. We were there for a funeral and the house really provided a welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing environment for my family in a difficult time. We have never dealt with a more kind, thoughtful, and welcoming host!!!

My family really enjoyed our stay!. The Hospitality of the Host was unmatched to any places we have stayed before! It's hard to get bored with so many fun things to do there. I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again and highly recommend it.

This Property was a great find it was an a great location for Houston & Galveston short 30mins to the beach 40 mins to Crosby lots to do in the area very clean & well organized. The host Mary was very attentive & extremely helpful. Highly recommend.

Nassau Bay Palms is our home and have set it up for comfort, enjoying and family. When we purchased this home we knew that our kids would soon start having their own children that we would want to have our own home but also want to visit the grand children often and travel. All 3 of our children are military and are scattered across the US. We now have 3 grand children and often schedule our visits and other travel based on when the house is booked. We are able to have extended visits with them so mid-term rental are welcome. We enjoy the opportunity to spend so much time with our Kids & grand kids but are always happy to lay our heads back home. For us, there's no place like our Nassau Bay Palms.

When looking for a home, we were open to anywhere in Houston and the surrounding areas. Ultimately, being near water was the most import factor for us. Once I found Nassau Bay, I knew we needed to the perfect home for us. The home was very different when we moved in. With a lot of hard work we created our own personal paradise.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our property is specifically set up to be pampered. Not just for the guest but for us. We intentionally set up the house to fell like you are at a spa. Our linens are noticeably indulgent, I melt every time I get in them. The main bathroom is jaw drooping gorgeous (in my opinion). It has a custom walk in shower and and exquisite soaking tub. Every light in the bathroom dims to create serenity. There are 2 water heaters servicing the house so hot water will not be an issue when showering. The kitchen has a plate cabinet to choose the type of plate you feel like using. We had draw for knives, a draw for forks and a drawer for spoons. Our pantry has all the appliances you need to cook any meal you desire. The back yard has multiple seating areas and 2 outdoor TV's. The garage is a third outdoor living area with its own TV & leather couch. We have Air Hockey/Ping Pong, a pool table, a pool, hot tub, kayaks, tennis rackets, pickle ball rackets, basketball, foot ball, soccer ball, a game cabinet. The living room is open concept and family can enjoy sitting on the section couch while others are in the kitchen or pool table room and all interact. This home is designed for enjoying.
