Updated in 2023! Stunning views of Lake Michigan can be enjoyed throughout the year in this two bedroom, two bath condo, located at The Homestead just one mile from Glen Arbor and Glen Lake. Sweeping westward facing vistas of the Sleeping Bear Dunes and Manitou Islands allows for spectacular sunsets. Walk a private pedestrian path to the Sleeping Bear Bay on Lake Michigan in under 10 minutes, which offers endless public beachfront access. Enjoy downtown Glen Arbor, the Sleeping Bear Dune Climb and Glen Lake - all within 5 minutes of the condo. This condo does not include access to the resort pools. It is an upper-level, end unit offering a quiet and peaceful setting with views you’ll never forget!
The Master Bedroom features a king-size bed, newly-renovated master bathtub and shower, as well as breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. The guest bedroom features a King bed, private bathtub and shower. Open spaced living room offers comfortable seating for five, a dining table for four – all with open window views of Lake Michigan. Also, enjoy an outdoor porch overlooking Lake Michigan that allows lounge seating for two as well as a dining table for four. A large flat-screen television with cable as well as high-speed Internet also included for your entertainment needs.

The host was fantastic. The instructions that we received were very clear and easy to follow. The location itself was great for what we wanted, close to Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes. We felt at home in the condo and there was plenty of space and privacy for 6 guests (4 adults and 2 toddlers). The view was unbelievable. Will stay again.

Perfect getaway

The view was SO amazing!! We had a great time in Glen Arbor. The hosts were so helpful and very prompt with responses. We would definitely stay here again!

Great home base for a dunes vacation

Had a great family vacation. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Surfaces were clean, deep cleaning could be better. Location was great. Fun days of hiking with restful evenings on the property’s perfect deck.

You won’t want to leave!

Husband, two daughters and I stayed here for the Sleeping Bear Dunes marathon and it was close and convenient for that purpose. The condo was pristine with a million dollar view and well stocked with everything you could need to enjoy your stay. Thank you, Meg! I look forward to a longer visit in the future!

Mother daughter weekend

This property was dated but acceptable. I have stayed at other properties at the Homestead and enjoy the area. Needed a little deeper cleaning.

Reservations were lost in the VRBO system, which caused a lot of distress at the last minute. Too many stairs... left us exhausted and down quite a few bucks that we used to pay resort employees who helped us get our stuff upstairs when we arrived. Location of building and addresses on the check in instructions were incorrect. No easy walk to the beach. Plumbing in two sinks and the guest bath working poorly. No dead bolt at the entry (just a hole in the door.) Stairs and landing poorly lit. (One flight of stairs was completely dark.) The view was great, but overall, not up to the standards we expected.

The view is absolutely amazing!!!! Communication was quick and easy, super nice. It was so nice to not have to worry about a long checklist upon leaving; just leave! We could have used a few more bowls for our family of 5 (I think there were 3), but seriously with the view I didn’t even care.

Condo in Homestead

Good condo in Homestead village. A bit dated, as mentioned in other reviews, but overall a good place to stay with a great view. Very comfortable for 2 couples as each "suite" is on opposite sides of the unit, providing good privacy. A bit tricky finding your way to the beach. Loved the location as we were doing a color tour and wanted something outside of Traverse City (too busy). This place is 10 minutes from Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes and 30 minutes from Fishtown and Sutton's Bay.

Peaceful paradise

Very nice layout and view was amazing! Wish some of the tree branches could be trimmed to enjoy it fully.. amenities were adequate, beds were just ok, one was too firm. Recommend a real toaster not the toaster/oven and a Keurig coffee maker or something easier.. Overall we had a wonderful time, great atmosphere and water pressure in shower was fantastic! Best location in Glen Arbor.. highly recommend you won’t be disappointed

What a view!

Can't beat the view looking west from the deck. Sunsets were a-maz-ing!! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of room at the dining room table for Yahtzee and Uno for four. We never felt crowded in this condo. The path that - eventually - led to the beach was a monster! There is a VERY steep grade. Anyone with any difficulty walking or who is not in "the best of shape" will not be able to walk it (or will, at best, have great difficulty), so be prepared to find your beach-time elsewhere. Also, the toilet bowls were, well, small. Men may find it...uncomfortable...trying to sit down. (Was that tactful enough?) Otherwise, a fine time was had by all.

Beautiful setting/needs updating

Beautiful property but a little confusing to find the condo within Homestead. Very close to Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Traverse City is 30 min drive away. Older condo that could use some updates. Difficult to navigate to condo at night with the exterior stairs and minimal lighting on roads. Great view though.

Will be back!

Had an awesome weekend. Hosts were extremely helpful with check in process and being available throughout the stay. Views of Lake Michigan from the living room and outside balcony are incredible, photos do not it justice. Highly recommend this rental!
