Very spacious 2-bedroom Romantic Get Away with 10ft ceilings. 1200 sq ft on LOWER LEVEL of lovely log cabin on the river of an Equestrian Area, nestled in hills of the Blue Ridge Mtns., less than (6) mi Tryon International Equestrian Center and within (20) min to surrounding quaint towns, antique malls, multiple vineyards/tasting rooms, FENCE, shopping and restaurants. Full kitchen & Fireplace. (30) min to Lake Lure, (45) min. to Asheville for night life and history or antiquing in Landrum or Tryon. 4 Wineries within 8 miles. Build your own fire down by the river
Or sit on the deck while listening to the flowing river just a few feet away, birds and wildlife. You can grill out on our deck and eat dinner "Al Fresco". We welcome you to stay at "The River's Edge".

Comfortable and beautifully furnished

We enjoyed everything about this rental and location. The owners were friendly and helpful. We love nature and tranquillity so we found the right place. Lots of outdoor space to absorb the Beautiful surroundings. An abundance of deer strolling around the area. Always a gift.

Beautiful surroundings and very tastefully decorated. This is the best premier VRBO out of the 7 we have stayed at this summer. Many extras , clean, and friendly but not intrusive hosts. A nice retreat from a day at the stables.

Our stay at Susie’s home was fantastic! The place was immaculate, cozy and with a wonderful view! We were here for a horse show and I told everyone I knew about it! Can’t wait to come back!

Relaxing Getaway

We had an amazing weekend. The view was so peaceful. The cabin was extremely clean. Lots of extra amenities were provided. Beds were comfy. Close to our event at TIEC. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. We hope to return in the future.

Enjoyable visit

Everything in advertisement was on point. Susie and her husband checked in on us each time they saw us, ensured our stay was going great, and were willing to answer any questions. Even made sure one evening we were able to enjoy camp fire and smores down by river. Will book next time back in area. Location was great for Tyron.

Lovely spot; well appointed

We were here for a horse show and did not have time to enjoy any of the many outdoor amenities offered by this host. We found the place well appointed, clean and relaxing. Very convenient to the horse complex.

Beautiful cabin on an awesome property. Everything was so clean and the hosts left s’mores, firewood, and wine! The deck was amazing and the bed was comfy. So quiet! Book this property! You won’t be sorry.

Beautiful home on a breathtaking property! We were in town for a horse show at TIEC and it’s super convenient location-wise. Comfy beds, washer and dryer that quickly wash show clothes, and we’ll stocked kitchen and bathroom. Thank you!!

Show at TIEC

This VRBO is so convenient to TIEC! Less than 10 minutes away! While we came in late most nights and left early every morning, it had everything we needed for the nights we were there- lots of room, nice shower & all the necessities!! We didn’t get to spend anytime outside enjoying the yard & River but we made s’mores in the microwave with the care package left for us!! Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I moved to NC in 2006 after being born and raised in South Florida. We wanted to slow down the pace and enjoy a personally built log home in the foothills of NC. We always wanted to live on the water and we lucked out with 250 ft of river. Though we have a slower pace there is action in every direction if we choose

Brand new built level with new appliances laced with antique furniture. Sooooooo very romantic with beautiful colors in every room. I love artwork and I personally drew the black forest on the wall with creatures of the forest by a waterfall done in 3D. Light the fireplace for perfect ambiance to sit and do whatever you like, i.e. play board games, watch TV, dine on your favorite food or just cuddle up with your sweetie.

Close to the Tryon International Equestrian Center. Watch beautiful horses jumping in a World Class Center. They have many restaurants and bars too. 45 min to Asheville, 30 min to Hendersonville, 30 min to Landrum or Tryon.
