The Bungalow at Purple Martin Greenway

Well… to say I’m a bit shocked (and disappointed) is an understatement. Every single one of my VRBO reviews has been 10 out of 10. Until your review. (You can scroll down all the AirBnB reviews… 5 out of 5). I take guest comfort to heart, and I want anyone who stays here to have a great experience, so I am sorry to learn there were things you were not pleased with. Let me address… I just now brewed coffee in the coffee maker. It works fine (?). I checked the hall thermostat: turns out you had the Mode set to “Off”. If you press the Mode button it toggles between Heat, AC and 0ff. Perhaps you tried to adjust the temp and accidentally pressed the mode button and toggled it to Off. I pressed the Mode button and toggled to AC and it’s running like a champ, blowing cold air. Oven: there is a stain on the bottom which did not wipe away with normal spray cleaner. I’ll leave the oven on self clean and see it will lift better afterward. The rubber seal around the washing machine has a few small dark spots - they are not mold and bathroom bleach cleaner spray does not lighten them. I took videos of each of these stops in the house to show that yes - the coffee make and thermostat absolutely work. I wish there was an ability to post them with my response. (I’d be happy to email them if there’s a way). A single room at the Hampton Inn is $147. Your rate for a whole 3 BR private home was $159. It is well appointed and conveniently located, thus people consistently check that it is a good value. I’m sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. I message guests my cell number before their check-in and say to please contact me if they have any issues or there is anything I can assist them with during their stay, and this is on the front page of the guide for the house as well. If you had simply reached out to me I would’ve gladly come and shown you how to start the coffee make and set the thermostat. Best regards, Sallie
