I was very surprised and disappointed to receive your review. I make it a point to be available and responsive to all renter concerns, and responded to you immediately when you contacted me with a question early in your stay. Yet in the times we talked and communicated via phone and email at no time did you mention any unhappiness with the cleanliness of the home. I manage the property for the owners, and have had this business for many years. I take immense pride in the cleanliness of my rentals. I have over 100 reviews from my properties where renters state how clean they are, including one from the renter just before you of this property. Had you made me aware of your concerns I would have immediately sent a cleaning crew, more supplies, or whatever you needed. And I left basic cleaning supplies in both the kitchen and downstairs bathroom, as well as a broom and dustpan. I am disappointed that rather than giving me the opportunity to address the problem in real time you chose to instead share a negative review after it was much too late to correct any issue. I hope you had a safe journey home to Florida.

It's tough to make it better for our guests when left in a review ! My apologies that you were disappointed over a few things.... we strive for happy guests, as you can see from the majority of our reviews !! We do only leave enough paper products for each rental to get our guests started, (as stated in the welcome letter) and we are sure to leave a variety of k-cups, teas and coffee, sometimes they are not to everyone's liking. Most of our guests bring along what they prefer as to ensure they have the flavors they like ! We are a short walk to the Kennebec River, which is accessible to us from town land, not private land owners. The home is an older home, so the steps are definitely not what you find in a new home ! Again, we appreciate your feedback, as it helps us to improve ~
