We had a great stay - home was clean, comfortable, ample room, and was stocked with basics to make our visit easy and enjoyable. About 20-25 min to Yosemite's south entrance.

Comforts of Home & Quiet/Clean Location

Our family of four just stayed for three nights. It was the perfect location on the northern edge of Oakhurst and close to the south entrance of Yosemite. Besides being quiet and clean, our host Dee was fantastic! Her communication prior and during our stay was amazing. Highly, highly recommend!

Beautiful home, perfect location!

My family had a great time staying here. Only an hour drive to Yosemite valley and about 10 minutes to Bass lake. This Home is well kept and has plenty of amenities and games. Very relaxing and great views.

This home was in the perfect location for our trip to Yosemite! We were only 20 minutes from the south entrance! The home was beautiful with plenty of room and everything we needed for an amazing vacation!

Such a cute home! The host really went above and beyond to make it cozy. Tastefully decorated for the holidays. We loved all the little extras including tips for Yosemite national park.

Great family rental for Yosemite with surprising amenities

We arrived to a very clean rental. 2 living rooms, 2 tv’s, easy BBQ, etc. the bed were comfortable and the garbage was taken care of by a neighbor. There is a local deer that comes into the yard to say hello. Quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend.

great trip

Family vacation to Yosemite and Bass Lake. Great location with easy access to both locations and the town of Oakhurst. House was just as described and had nice amenities to help get started (spices, light snacks, beach towels and chairs if needed). House was perfect for our 2 adult children and 2 teenagers. Plenty of room to move around or hang together as desired. Would definitely stay again.

Vacation to Yosemite

Everything was well maintained and clean. There was plenty of space for my family of 5. I appreciated that there were beach towels available to use. The kitchen was well stocked for anything I might need to cook a meal. The breakfast provided (bagels, juice and cereal/milk), and the S’mores supplies were a big hit with my kids!

Well stocked house in a very quiet neighborhood

Very well maintained house. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was very peaceful. Overall an excellent place to stay near Oakhurst and drive to Yosemite. The host was very welcoming and patient. They worked with me when I had a payment problem and took the extra effort to make us feel happy.

Wonderful getaway near Yosemite

We stayed five nights and absolutely loved it! This property is perfectly clean and Dee thought of everything to make the stay more like home. From spices, cookware and utensils, comfy beds, two big smart TVs, high speed internet, an outdoor fire pit, gas grill, multiple types of coffee makers and washer/dryer we had everything we needed and more. My job is 100% travel and having a place this well appointed is SO much better than a hotel! I would stay here again in a hearbeat!!

We had the most wonderful stay at this house. The place was more stocked than any other house we’ve stayed at. The beds were so comfortable too ! After long days at Yosemite the fire place was a nice place to unwind. I would highly recommend this place!

Dee listing was spot on. She had everything you would need if you forgot to bring it. We stayed here so we could enjoy Yosemite NP with out the cost of staying in the park. We will stay here again.

Lovely location and perfect porch!

We enjoyed relaxing, reading, eating, and planning our days on the porch. The table and shade were great. The house location was perfect for reaching the South Entrance of Yosemite National Park quickly and easily. It was nice to be a little outside Oakhurst in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the included continental breakfast, provided coffee, and s’mores ingredients. There was no pantry available for food storage, so we put things above the fridge and on the small kid table. We were glad to have baggies and foil provided as well. We did see deer one evening near the driveway and enjoyed hearing birds singing while we were on the porch.

I really liked Yosemite Forks Estates and when this property came on the market, it checked all the boxes, so we purchased it. My family and I love it at Buckeye Retreat. We selected the home and furnishings carefully to be as comfortable as we would like to enjoy our home.
