Increíble y remodelada casa espaciosa con dos habitaciones grandes y dos y 1/2 baños. Preciosa área privada al aire libre con jacuzzi privado nuevo, barbacoa, gran mesa de picnic y chimenea (si la temporada lo permite). Master es muy grande con cama King size, sofá acogedor y TV / DVR privado con opciones de Netflix y Pandora, así como cable, baño privado con bañera. El segundo dormitorio también es bastante grande con una cama King y un pequeño sofá futón. También tiene su propia televisión con su propio sistema de juegos y cable ... El segundo baño está conectado y podría considerarse un segundo dormitorio principal. La casa tiene una sala de estar muy grande con cómodos sofás y TV grande con DVR, cable, opciones de Netflix y Pandora y un pequeño rincón de lectura con una cama adicional de futón adicional. La cocina es luminosa y abierta y está equipada con todo lo que uno podría necesitar. Ofrecemos café y té. La casa también cuenta con un amplio patio soleado con un futón queen y un pequeño rincón para desayunar, así como una mesa de air hockey y futbolín. Disfruta del patio trasero completamente cercado y la nueva área de descanso al aire libre. El hermoso río Fresno corre al fondo de la propiedad ... recuéstese en la hamaca y escuche el flujo del río ... en los días calurosos y soleados, refrésquese en el río fresco y claro. Home está a poca distancia de varios restaurantes agradables también.

This house was a perfect location for our hiking/adventure activities in the area. Close to Bass Lake, Yosemite and other areas for fun/adventure. It was also well appointed with lots of things to do in our down time and very conveniently located right off the main drag in Oakhurst. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we visit the area.

Very comfortable

This spacious home was very inviting and comfortable. It is an older home, but has the necessities. The kids enjoyed the outside and game/sun room. We were hoping to be able to enjoy the river, but was not very accessible.

Weekend away!

My family of 4 was visiting Yosemite. The property was exactly what we needed. We enjoyed being able to spread out a little throughout the house since we had been staying in hotel rooms before this on vacation. It was great having all of the kitchen items so we could cook if we wanted to. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The stream that they talk about behind the house was we couldn't really find but it was OK since we weren't there to see that.I would stay here again!

We rented this home because of the photos of the beautiful outdoor area. It was in severe disrepair included rotting chairs that were depicted as brand new in the photos. There was overgrowth of vegetation and general neglect. The home was dated but clean and comfortable but we chose this destination based on inaccurate outdoor photos.

Roomy 2 Bedroom in Good Location

We had a nice time and tye property was in an easy location to get everywhere you needed to go without driving too far out of the way. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace. Nice big kitchen with all the necessities. The air hockey table didn't turn on and the windows were leaky in the game room when it rained, but other than that, all was as described. Would reccomend for families.

Great Place to Stay!!

This was a beautiful home with a big open living room. There were many toys for young kids and plenty of room for them to run around. Also, there was an air hockey, foosball table and hot tub for the adults. The Netflix available was great for watching TV. The location was great for visiting Yosemite and there were restaurants within minutes of the home. The only downside was the master bedroom was warmer than the rest of the house and difficult to cool down without leaving the rest of the house cold. The wine and breakfast cake the owner left were delicious and a very nice touch. The owner was very helpful and responded very quickly to all inquiries and questions. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!

Hello and thank you for your kind review. :-) We are very glad you enjoyed your stay. I must admit that I am quite sorry to hear about the Master Bedroom being to warm. To make sure our guests are comfortable we installed a brand new central AC unit in May of this year. You are the first guest to mention it and I don't know how we made it through the entire summer without hearing about it. I spoke to the AC installer and he said that the room was at the end of a long run and that it had was the weakest amount of air (which makes sense). When asked what we could do about it he pretty much said nothing... Major bummer. So we have decided to put a small window AC unit in the back room to make sure this does not happen again. We do everything we can to make sure our guest are as comfortable as possible and hope you will stay with us again in the near future and will be able to leave a 5 out of 5 review as that is the experience I am striving hard for. Perfect location to Yosemite and Private

We've stayed at one of Terri's other properties in Oakhurst prior, she is professional and prompt and responsive. This home was perfectly located to Yosemite's south entrance and to Sierra National Forest. It's an older home but with a nice big open floorplan, great raging hot wood burning fireplace for cold nights, and a big comfortable master bedroom. The outside/side yard is very private...tall fence, hot tub, big seating area, fire pit...no neighbors to see you or bother you. The kitchen has not been updated...it is functional and has everything you'll need, it's just older; don't expect clean fresh brand new contemporary etc...but having said that, again, the home perfectly fit what we needed which was privacy and easy access to Yosemite. Hi Stephen, thanks for your kind review. We are truly glad you enjoyed your stay once again at one of Nature's Properties. I must say, that while this home is older (as it is depicted in pictures, along with a very accurate photo of the kitchen, which would lead no future guests to expect a brand new modern kitchen, therefore, should never disappoint, nor really be commented on in a review) it is fresh and clean. We have put in thousands to remodel this home. Brand new carpet, flooring, windows, paint, central AC, and brand new wood stove as well as all new plumbing and electrical through out the entire home along with a new hot tub and completely new landscaped back yard. We strive to provide fabulous homes in excellent shape for a wonderful and affordable price and feel that we accomplish just that. :-)

We loved this place!

We loved this place! There is a lot of space and room to spread out. The kitchen is spacious and we cooked every evening. It was very clean and comfortable and we kept saying ‘we love this place!’ We also thought the location was fantastic. You are very close to Highway 41 in Oakhurst on the way to Yosemite but you are tucked away with trees and a creek. We saw deer, bluebirds, woodpeckers, and quails. So it felt more like a cabin a bit more off the beaten path. We were there to visit Yosemite for hiking and also to fly fish. It is an easy drive to Yosemite and there was a fly fishing guide on the corner. The host, Terri, is very nice and checked in on the first day. They have good recommendations in a binder so check that out if you need ideas. Thank you again, Terri!

A Great Family-Friendly Vacation Home in Oakhurst

We had a great time at Nature's River Walk this past President's Day weekend. The size of the house was awesome and everything was neat and clean and ready for us when we arrived. Terri had turned the heat and lights on for us since we were arriving after dark and that was much appreciated! The kids LOVED the game room and had fun playing with the toys in the closet. The Star Wars Millennium Falcon toy was a BIG HIT, and they loved the Whack A Mole game, too. It was a very kid-friendly home with games and toys for the kids and even utensils for young toddlers, which we appreciated for our young 3-year old grandson. The big screen TVs were nice but we never turned them on once since there was so much else to keep the kids occupied. My husband and I appreciated the quiet at night and the electric blankets on the beds. Our 8-year old son was delighted at the concept of an electric blanket (we don't have them at our home in warm So Cal) and is now a big fan of them! We'll definitely will be returning to Nature's River Walk during future trips to Yosemite. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Disappointed

We stayed at this property for 6 days. The location was great and the house fit our needs. I did feel like the pictures made the property look much better than it was. The fire pit has been removed (which I understand because of fire season), the coffee table was broken, the faucet in the bathroom was not attached properly, the description of the bathroom that could be used as a 3rd bedroom was inaccurate as there is no way to get a blow up mattress in there, the air hockey table barely works and the cord is dangerous as it is all taped together. Be prepared for the property manager to watch you on camera. This was super creepy to my family. There was an error on my part or a computer glitch. I had originally booked for 6 people but somehow it showed for 5 and I had to come up with more money while I was there. I’m still wondering why if the house sleeps 8 why I had to pay more money. The upside to this property is the beds are extremely comfortable, the jacuzzi was relaxing and the house is very roomy. We were just disappointed as the property did not look like the pictures. We felt very deceived.

Never fun to receive an unkind review, especially when it is not accurate. The pictures on the site were taken with a basic camera with no enhancements made, so do not understand how they could make the house look better then it is. The fire pit is always removed in the height of fire season as is very bluntly stated on the website as fire danger up here is no joke and we take our safety very seriously. The guests complete misunderstanding about a bathroom that could be used as a 3rd bedroom is baffling.. I can only imagine that she meant the game room, which does have a sleeper sofa already in it. It always strikes me as funny, that when a guest knows we give a discount for smaller parties thinks we are in the wrong when extra guests are brought in without permission, which sadly happens all the time. We state it very plainly multiple times that there is a discount given and the cost goes up with larger parties. It is very sad that this guests, we admits to having a larger party, accuses us of watching her. Which is impossible. We have one small exterior camera that monitors the driveway and front door for security purposes, which is required by our insurance. We only monitor the cameras when the house is vacant or if a party of two shows up with 3 cars, which alerts us to extra guests. If all guests were always honest in their guests counts our lives would be so much nicer. This house is very large, comfortable and in an excellent location and is priced beneath the basic cost of a single hotel room. It has a lovely private yard, private hot tub and ample parking. We have just been informed that the air hockey table is not working correctly and that the coffee table was broken and both are already being replaced. Since the pictures were put up on the website we have done nothing but improve the property, new bed, new bedding, back yard completely landscaped and next month it will have an entire new living room of furniture. This home is a wonderful place to stay while enjoying our beautiful area.

Weekend getaway

House and area was nice although I wasn’t happy with the backyard, pictures were deceiving and this was one of the may reasons I booked the house. Leaves, weeds and cigarette buds were not appealing. Left over items from previous guess cooking utensils need to be gone through and items should be disposed of if not in good working order or presentable. We had a great time enjoying the surrounding area and lake although we will book a hotel for our next visit.

Great Getaway -Good location

Overall we had a great time with my with teenage kids and husband. We spent time on the lake which was close by and went into town which was walking distance. The cleanliness of the home definitely could've been better. The front and back looked nothing like the pictures. Everything was over grown and unkept. Bbq was filthy. None of the games had all the pieces but luckily we brought our own. Decor was pretty outdated. Minor updates would do this home some good

Good Location and space

We stayed from July 17 till July 22. The owner was very receptive to questions concerning the area and the ongoing wildfire which closed the south entrance to Yosemite. The property has a lot of space and is convenient to locations within Oakhurst. However, I believe the pictures need to be updated to reflect what the property looks like now instead of 5-10 years ago. The private outdoor area is overgrown with weeds and in no way reflects the pictures in the listing. Also, certain areas within the property need to be dusted (all ceiling fans, areas under TV's and the return for the air conditioner near the dining room table).

Great Location to Giant Sequoias

Property is nestled just off the main road through Oakhurst. It felt like we were out far but really only minutes away from town. Very convenient to catch the YARTS bus to Yosemite. Very spacious living area and Kitchen. Rooms and beds were comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing after a day of hiking. Definitely would stay here again.

A Fun Place for groups and family

This was a very fun place for the family to stay while visiting the National Parks. My family used the fire pit, hot tub, cornhole, tether ball, air hockey and the foosball. It was very spacious and well kept. It's not brand new but it is cute, with a woodsy feel, vaulted ceilings. We would definitely recommend if the extra ammenities appeal to your group!

A great change of pace.

After working many hours since the onset of COVID, and using what little time I was taking off to get things done around my own home, it was time for an actual vacation. I reserved Riverwalk after finding it here on VRBO because we decided to cancel a Disneyland trip (multiple reasons)and I'm so glad we did. The house is very nice and the ad is accurate. Clean, quiet, private, and very easy access to highway 41 for stores, some restaurants, and of course the southern gate to Yosemite. There's a folder with all sorts of ideas to do during your stay as well. My 10 year old enjoyed the stay and we played quite a few rounds of air hockey and some other stuff on one day (had to complete some online stuff for prior commitments) Terri, was very quick to respond the couple times I texted her. I'd certainly book this place again without hesitation, it was a great time getting away from the hustle and Bustle of the S.F. Bay Area for a couple days. Thanks Terri!

Close get away!

Nice BIG house, picture makes it look cleaner than it was. Also it should state you are in a neighborhood, the picture made it look like you were on secluded property. I think a family with kids would find this the perfect place. The creek was nice and the jacuzzi.

Relaxing

Terri made the stay awesome. She was easy to reach and communicate with. The house was perfect for teenage girls; a game room, jacuzzi, and for pit! Plus thrift stores and great food within walking distance. Wonderful, relaxing home.

Absolutely Perfect

Everything was exactly as stated!! The house was so well stocked with everything you could possibly need!! Perfect location! We had a great time exploring around the property!! Everyone loved this house!! And the property owner was very nice to work with!!! Would def stay here again!!!!

The stay was great. We look forward to being able to use the property another time.

The house was great. Plenty of room. The kids loved the jacuzzi and games. 3 bathrooms was such a blessing when you have a family. We weren't electronic saavy enough to figure out the TV remotes. Lol

Needs some improvement

It felt like this property hasn’t been used in awhile. It wouldn’t take much to make it more inviting. The lighting is very poor. The switches could be labeled and bulbs replaced. The dishwasher door needs lubrication as it makes a horrible screeching sound when used. The sliding door on the first bedroom also makes a horrible noise when used.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I have looked for years for a large home on a RIVER! Never thought I would also find one so close to town yet so private and set amid such large towering trees. A little slice of heaven so very close to the gates of Yosemite and Bass Lake yet within walking distance on warm summer nights to great meals out.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Not many properties have their own river. Have your lunch by the river and listen to the water flow and the birds sing. Home also has a nice flat yard that you can play volleyball and tether ball too!
