Unit 116 Located in Barrier Dunes gated community 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath. Absolutely NO pets of any kind. It is a short walk to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. You have access to tennis court, fishing ponds, and two swimming pools. There will be beach chairs waiting for you there. If you are looking for a true vacation this is your place. Located between the Gulf of Mexico and St Joseph Bay. T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park is located right at the entrance of Barrier Dunes. NO PETS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED. THERE IS A RING CAMERA THAT IS THERE FOR YOUR SECUITY AND SHOULD NOT BE BLOCKED OR COVERED UP AT ANYTIME>

We had a blast staying at "It's 5 o'clock somewhere". The owners are very nice and they were very prompt in providing everything needed. The house is furnished with everything needed, including beach chairs. It was a really relaxing vacation at the Barrier Dunes" and we highly recommend this location.

Great spot!

The Genty’s had everything so well prepared for guests. It was incredible. This was one of the best beach vacations pour family has ever had.

Great family vacation!

We had booked a 3 bedroom condo in Barrier Dunes but needed extra room. Rented this unit instead of using hotel in Port St Joe for our family. It was a great condo with extras such as bicycles, beach cart and chairs. Lots of room and easy walk to beach. Would recommend renting this unit!

Much needed Vacation

Great unit! Decorated very nice! Clean, the owner even allows use of personal beach chairs and bikes. Who does that these days… I hope all that ever stays there treats this family’s things better than their own, so that many people can continue to enjoy making life long memories.

Grandkids winter break

Wonderful accommodations and property. Just as advertised. We all enjoyed the sunsets on the beach, pools, and fishing in your lakes. Only problem we had was bike tires were flat and the bike pump was not working. But we truly didn't have time for biking since there were so many other things to enjoy. THANK YOU for sharing your property with us !

Margret and Randy are the best!

All I can say is this was one of the best times me and my family have ever had! Margret and Randy were wonderful to deal with and the condo was even better than described. It was clean and spacious. They had anything you would need to enjoy your trip. There were beach umbrellas, floats,chairs, boogie boards,wagon and more. The house was clean, had pots and pans, dishes and any seasoning you could think of. Also has the fastest washing machine I’ve ever seen. All in all we love this place and will be booking again next year. Thank you again margret your the best and we absolutely loved are stay

Beautiful condo, incomplete information

We enjoyed staying in this condo, and the location is very close to the beach. I will say that you must be able to handle 2 full flights of stairs, but perhaps on the Florida coast that's a given. We arrived after 10pm due to terrible traffic en route, but we weren't able to access the condo due to incomplete instructions. We were given the code for the lockbox with the key, but we couldn't find the lockbox. We sent a message through VRBO, and left a voicemail at the mobile number provided. Finally we had to call the VRBO help line, and it took about 10 minutes for us to get connected with the host. He told us where to look (above the hose behind the 2nd pillar on the right of the carport), but I'm not sure we would have ever found it in the dark. As I said, we enjoyed staying in this lovely condo, so I still recommend it.

Just Like Home

The townhome is perfect. Clean and furnished with everything you need to make it your temporary beach home. Beds are super comfortable and both bedrooms had blackout curtains. The bathrooms were spotless. Kitchen has everything you need. The owner’s also have beach chairs, umbrellas, beach/pool toys and a nice beach wagon to transport them. They also have a couple of bikes. There is a full size washer and dryer. The complex is gated and is very quiet. Nice pool. Friendly people. The entrance to the state park is close by. There are two things that might be a issue for some folks. 1. It is a townhome, so there are two sets of stairs. 2. The beach access is about a 4 minute walk . It is an easy walk. There is are 3 beach access points and one has a ramp. I absolutely recommend this property! We had a wonderful holiday. We are already talking about our next visit to Florida’s Forgotten Coast!!
